சங்கீதம் 29
1 ௧ தாவீதின் பாடல். தேவ பிள்ளைகளே, யெகோவாவுக்கு மகிமையையும் வல்லமையையும் செலுத்துங்கள்; கர்த்தருக்கே அதைச் செலுத்துங்கள்.
A psalm of David. Ascribe to Yahweh, you sons of God, ascribe to Yahweh glory and strength!
2 ௨ யெகோவாவுடைய பெயருக்கேற்ற மகிமையை அவருக்குச் செலுத்துங்கள்; பரிசுத்த அலங்காரத்துடனே யெகோவாவை தொழுதுகொள்ளுங்கள்.
Ascribe to Yahweh the glory his name deserves. Bow down to Yahweh in the splendor of holiness!
3 ௩ யெகோவாவுடைய சத்தம் சமுத்திரங்கள் மேல் தொனிக்கிறது; மகிமையுள்ள தேவன் முழங்குகிறார்; யெகோவா திரளான தண்ணீர்களின்மேல் இருக்கிறார்.
The voice of Yahweh is heard over the waters; the God of glory thunders, Yahweh thunders over many waters.
The voice of Yahweh is powerful; the voice of Yahweh is majestic.
The voice of Yahweh breaks the cedars; Yahweh breaks in pieces the cedars of Lebanon.
6 ௬ அவைகளைக் கன்றுக்குட்டிகளைப்போலவும், லீபனோனையும், சீரியோனையும் காண்டாமிருகக் குட்டிகளைப்போலவும் துள்ளச்செய்கிறார்.
He makes Lebanon skip like a calf and Sirion like a young ox.
The voice of Yahweh sends out flames of fire.
The voice of Yahweh shakes the wilderness; Yahweh shakes the wilderness of Kadesh.
9 ௯ யெகோவாவுடைய சத்தம் பெண்மான்களை ஈனும்படி செய்து, காடுகளை வெளியாக்கும்; அவருடைய ஆலயத்திலுள்ள அனைவரும் யெகோவாவுக்கு மகிமை என்று ஆர்ப்பரிக்கிறார்கள்.
The voice of Yahweh causes the oaks to twist and strips the forests bare. Everyone in his temple says, “Glory!”
10 ௧0 யெகோவா பெருவெள்ளத்தின்மேல் அமர்ந்திருந்தார்; யெகோவா என்றென்றைக்கும் ராஜாவாக அமர்ந்திருக்கிறார்.
Yahweh sits as king over the flood; Yahweh sits as king forever.
11 ௧௧ யெகோவா தமது மக்களுக்குப் பெலன் கொடுப்பார்; யெகோவா தமது மக்களுக்குச் சமாதானம் அருளி, அவர்களை ஆசீர்வதிப்பார்.
Yahweh gives strength to his people; Yahweh blesses his people with peace.
