Romanos 5
1 Justificados pues por la fe, tenemos paz para con Dios por nuestro Señor Jesu Cristo:
Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
2 Por el cual también tenemos entrada por la fe en esta gracia, en la cual estamos firmes, y nos gloriamos en la esperanza de la gloria de Dios.
By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
3 Y no solo esto, mas aun nos gloriamos en las tribulaciones, sabiendo que la tribulación obra paciencia;
And not only [so], but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
4 Y la paciencia, experiencia; y la experiencia, esperanza;
And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
5 Y la esperanza no nos avergüenza; porque el amor de Dios está derramado en nuestros corazones por el Espíritu Santo, que nos es dado.
And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
6 Porque Cristo, cuando éramos aun sin fuerza, a su tiempo murió por los impíos.
For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
7 Porque apenas morirá alguno por un justo; aunque quizá por uno bueno podrá ser que alguno aun osare morir.
For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.
8 Mas Dios encarece su amor para con nosotros, en que siendo aun pecadores, Cristo murió por nosotros.
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
9 Luego mucho más, ahora justificados en su sangre, por él seremos salvos de la ira.
Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
10 Porque si siendo enemigos, fuimos reconciliados con Dios por la muerte de su Hijo, mucho más, ya reconciliados, seremos salvos por su vida.
For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
11 Y no solo esto, mas aun nos gloriamos en Dios por nuestro Señor Jesu Cristo, por el cual hemos ahora recibido la reconciliación.
And not only [so], but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.
12 Por tanto, de la manera que el pecado entró en el mundo por un hombre, y por el pecado la muerte; y la muerte así pasó a todos los hombres porque todos pecaron;
Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
13 (Porque hasta la ley el pecado estaba en el mundo; mas el pecado no es imputado, no habiendo ley.
(For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
14 Mas reinó la muerte desde Adam hasta Moisés, aun sobre los que no pecaron a la manera de la rebelión de Adam, el cual es figura del que había de venir.
Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam’s transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.
15 Mas no como el delito, así también fue el don gratuito; porque si por el delito de uno murieron muchos, mucho más la gracia de Dios, y el don por la gracia que es de un solo hombre, Jesu Cristo, abundó para muchos.
But not as the offence, so also [is] the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, [which is] by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
16 Ni tampoco de la manera que fue por uno que pecó, así también el don; porque el juicio a la verdad fue de un pecado para condenación, mas el don gratuito es de muchos delitos para justificación.
And not as [it was] by one that sinned, [so is] the gift: for the judgment [was] by one to condemnation, but the free gift [is] of many offences unto justification.
17 Porque si por el delito de uno reinó la muerte por causa de uno, mucho más los que reciben la abundancia de la gracia, y del don de la justicia reinarán en vida por uno solo, Jesu Cristo.)
For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
18 Así que, de la manera que por el delito de uno vino la culpa a todos los hombres para condenación, así por la justicia de uno vino la gracia a todos los hombres para justificación de vida.
Therefore as by the offence of one [judgment came] upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one [the free gift came] upon all men unto justification of life.
19 Porque como por la desobediencia de un hombre muchos fueron hechos pecadores, así por la obediencia de uno muchos serán hechos justos.
For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
20 La ley empero entró para que el pecado abundase; mas cuando el pecado abundó, sobreabundó la gracia;
Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:
21 Para que de la manera que el pecado reinó para muerte, así también la gracia reine por la justicia para vida eterna, por Jesu Cristo Señor nuestro. (aiōnios g166)
That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord. (aiōnios g166)
