Apocalipsis 9
1 Y el quinto ángel tocó la trompeta, y ví una estrella caída del cielo en la tierra; y a aquel fue dada la llave del pozo del abismo. (Abyssos g12)
And the fifth Angel blew the trumpet, and I saw a starre fall from heauen vnto the earth, and to him was giuen the key of the bottomlesse pit. (Abyssos g12)
2 Y abrió el pozo del abismo, y subió un humo del pozo como el humo de una grande hornaza; y el sol, y el aire fue oscurecido por razón del humo del pozo. (Abyssos g12)
And he opened the bottomlesse pit, and there arose the smoke of the pit, as the smoke of a great fornace, and the sunne, and the ayre were darkened by the smoke of the pit. (Abyssos g12)
3 Y del humo del pozo salieron langostas sobre la tierra; y les fue dada potestad, como tienen potestad los escorpiones de la tierra.
And there came out of the smoke Locustes vpon the earth, and vnto them was giuen power, as the scorpions of the earth haue power.
4 Y fuéles mandado que no hiciesen daño a la yerba de la tierra, ni a ninguna cosa verde, ni a ningún árbol, sino solamente a los hombres que no tienen la señal de Dios en sus frentes.
And it was comanded them, that they should not hurt the grasse of the earth, neither any greene thing, neither any tree: but onely those men which haue not the seale of God in their foreheads.
5 Y les fue dado que no los matasen, sino que los atormentasen cinco meses; y su tormento era como tormento de escorpión cuando hiere al hombre.
And to them was comanded that they should not kill them, but that they should be vexed fiue moneths, and that their paine should be as the paine that commeth of a scorpion, when he hath stung a man.
6 Y en aquellos días buscarán los hombres la muerte, y no la hallarán; y desearán morir, y la muerte huirá de ellos.
Therefore in those dayes shall men seeke death, and shall not finde it, and shall desire to die, and death shall flie from them.
7 Y el parecer de las langostas era semejante a caballos aparejados para guerra; y sobre sus cabezas tenían como coronas semejantes al oro; y sus caras eran como caras de hombres.
And the forme of the locustes was like vnto horses prepared vnto battel, and on their heads were as it were crownes, like vnto golde, and their faces were like the faces of men.
8 Y tenían cabellos como cabellos de mujeres; y sus dientes eran como dientes de leones.
And they had heare as the heare of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lyons.
9 Y tenían corazas como corazas de hierro; y el estruendo de sus alas, como el ruido de los carros, que con muchos caballos corren a la batalla.
And they had habbergions, like to habbergions of yron: and the soud of their wings was like the sound of charets whe many horses runne vnto battel.
10 Y tenían colas semejantes a las colas de los escorpiones; y tenían en sus colas aguijones; y su potestad era de hacer daño a los hombres cinco meses.
And they had tailes like vnto scorpions, and there were stings in their tailes, and their power was to hurt men fiue moneths.
11 Y tenían sobre sí un rey, que es el ángel del abismo, el cual tenía por nombre en Hebraico Abaddón, y en Griego Apolión. (Abyssos g12)
And they haue a King ouer them, which is the Angel of the bottomlesse pit, whose name in Hebrewe is Abaddon, and in Greeke he is named Apollyon, that is, destroying. (Abyssos g12)
12 El un ay es pasado; y, he aquí, vienen aun dos veces ay después de estas cosas.
One woe is past, and beholde, yet two woes come after this.
13 Y el sexto ángel tocó la trompeta, y oí una voz de los cuatro cuernos del altar de oro, el cual está delante de Dios,
Then the sixt Angel blew the trumpet, and I heard a voyce from the foure hornes of the golden altar, which is before God,
14 Que decía al sexto ángel que tenía la trompeta: Desata los cuatro ángeles que están atados en el grande río Éufrates.
Saying to the sixt Angel, which had the trumpet, Loose the foure Angels, which are bound in the great riuer Euphrates.
15 Y fueron desatados los cuatro ángeles que estaban aprestados para la hora, y día, y mes, y año, a fin de matar la tercera parte de los hombres.
And the foure Angels were loosed, which were prepared at an houre, at a day, at a moneth, and at a yeere, to slay the thirde part of men.
16 Y el número del ejército de los de a caballo era doscientos millones. Y oí el número de ellos.
And the nomber of horsemen of warre were twentie thousand times ten thousand: for I heard the nomber of them.
17 Y así ví los caballos en la visión; y los que estaban sentados sobre ellos tenían corazas de fuego, de jacinto, y de azufre. Y las cabezas de los caballos eran como cabezas de leones; y de la boca de ellos salía fuego, y humo, y azufre.
And thus I saw the horses in a vision, and them that sate on them, hauing firie habbergions, and of Iacinth, and of brimstone, and the heads of the horses were as the heades of lyons: and out of their mouthes went foorth fire and smoke and brimstone.
18 Y de estas tres plagas fue muerta la tercera parte de los hombres, del fuego, y del humo, y del azufre, que salían de la boca de ellos.
Of these three was the thirde part of men killed, that is, of the fire, and of the smoke, and of the brimstone, which came out of their mouthes.
19 Porque su poder está en su boca, y en sus colas. Porque sus colas eran semejantes a serpientes, y tenían cabezas, y con ellas dañan.
For their power is in their mouths, and in their tailes: for their tailes were like vnto serpents, and had heades, wherewith they hurt.
20 Y los otros hombres que no fueron muertos con estas plagas, aun no se arrepintieron de las obras de sus manos, para que no adorasen a los demonios, y a las imágenes de oro, y de plata, y de metal, y de piedra, y de madera: las cuales no pueden ver, ni oír, ni andar.
And the remnant of the men which were not killed by these plagues, repented not of the works of their handes that they should not worship deuils, and idoles of golde and of siluer, and of brasse, and of stone, and of wood, which neither can see, neither heare nor goe.
21 Ni tampoco se arrepintieron de sus homicidios, ni de sus hechicerías, ni de su fornicación, ni de sus hurtos.
Also they repented not of their murder, and of their sorcerie, neither of their fornication, nor of their theft.
