Apocalipsis 8

1 Y cuando él hubo abierto el séptimo sello, fue hecho silencio en el cielo casi por media hora.

And when he had opened the seuenth seale, there was silence in heauen about halfe an houre.

2 Y ví los siete ángeles que estaban en pie delante de Dios, y fuéronles dadas siete trompetas.

And I sawe the seuen Angels, which stoode before God, and to them were giuen seuen trumpets.

3 Y otro ángel vino, y se paró delante del altar, teniendo un incensario de oro; y fuéronle dados muchos inciensos para que los ofreciese con las oraciones de todos los santos sobre el altar de oro, el cual estaba delante del trono.

Then another Angel came and stoode before the altar hauing a golden censer, and much odours was giuen vnto him, that hee shoulde offer with the prayers of all Saintes vpon the golden altar, which is before the throne.

4 Y el humo de los inciensos, con las oraciones de los santos, subió de la mano del ángel delante de Dios.

And the smoke of the odours with the prayers of the Saintes, went vp before God, out of the Angels hand.

5 Y el ángel tomó el incensario, e hinchiólo del fuego del altar, y lo arrojó a la tierra, y fueron hechas voces, y truenos, y relámpagos, y un temblor de tierra.

And the Angel tooke the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth, and there were voyces, and thundrings, and lightnings, and earthquake.

6 Y los siete ángeles que tenían las siete trompetas, se aprestaron para tocar trompeta.

Then the seuen Angels, which had the seuen trumpets, prepared themselues to blow the trumpets.

7 Y el primer ángel tocó la trompeta, y fue hecho granizo, y fuego, mezclados con sangre, y fueron arrojados sobre la tierra; y la tercera parte de los árboles fue quemada, y toda la yerba verde fue quemada.

So the first Angell blewe the trumpet, and there was haile and fire, mingled with blood, and they were cast into the earth, and the thirde part of trees was burnt, and all greene grasse was burnt.

8 Y el segundo ángel tocó la trompeta, y como un grande monte ardiente con fuego fue lanzado en la mar, y la tercera parte de la mar fue vuelta en sangre.

And the second Angel blew the trumpet, and as it were a great mountaine, burning with fire, was cast into the sea, and the thirde part of the sea became blood.

9 Y murió la tercera parte de las criaturas que estaban en la mar, las cuales tenían vida, y la tercera parte de los navíos fue destruida.

And the thirde part of the creatures, which were in the sea, and had life, died, and the thirde part of shippes were destroyed.

10 Y el tercer ángel tocó la trompeta, y cayó del cielo una grande estrella ardiendo como una lámpara encendida, y cayó sobre la tercera parte de los ríos, y sobre las fuentes de las aguas.

Then the thirde Angel blew the trumpet, and there fell a great starre from heauen, burning like a torche, and it fell into the thirde part of the riuers, and into the fountaines of waters.

11 Y el nombre de la estrella se dice Ajenjo; y la tercera parte de las aguas fue vuelta en ajenjo; y muchos hombres murieron por las aguas, porque fueron hechas amargas.

And the name of the starre is called wormewood: therefore the thirde part of the waters became wormewood, and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.

12 Y el cuarto ángel tocó la trompeta, y fue herida la tercera parte del sol, y la tercera parte de la luna, y la tercera parte de las estrellas: de tal manera que se oscureció la tercera parte de ellos, y no alumbraba la tercera parte del día, y semejantemente de la noche.

And the fourth Angel blew the trumpet, and the thirde part of the sunne was smitten, and the thirde part of the moone, and the thirde part of the starres, so that the thirde part of them was darkened: and the day was smitten, that the thirde part of it could not shine, and likewise the night.

13 Y miré, y oí un ángel volar por medio del cielo, diciendo a alta voz: ¡Ay, ay, ay de los que moran en la tierra! por razón de las otras voces de las trompetas de los tres ángeles que habían de tocar.

And I beheld, and heard one Angel flying thorow the middes of heauen, saying with a loude voyce, Woe, woe, woe to the inhabitants of the earth, because of the sounds to come of the trumpet of the three Angels, which were yet to blowe the trumpets.
