Job 26

1 Y respondió Job, y dijo:

Bvt Iob answered, and sayde,

2 ¿En qué ayudaste al que no tiene fuerza? ¿salvaste con brazo al que no tiene fortaleza?

Whom helpest thou? him that hath no power? sauest thou the arme that hath no strength?

3 ¿En qué aconsejaste al que no tiene ciencia? ¿y mostraste asaz [tu] sabiduría?

Whome counsellest thou? him that hath no wisedome? thou shewest right well as the thing is.

4 ¿A quién has anunciado palabras? ¿y cúyo es el espíritu que sale de ti?

To whom doest thou declare these words? or whose spirit commeth out of thee?

5 Cosas inanimadas son formadas debajo de las aguas, y de sus moradas.

The dead things are formed vnder the waters, and neere vnto them.

6 El sepulcro es descubierto delante de él, y el infierno no tiene cobertura. (Sheol h7585)

The graue is naked before him, and there is no couering for destruction. (Sheol h7585)

7 Extiende al aquilón sobre vacío: cuelga la tierra sobre nada.

He stretcheth out the North ouer the emptie place, and hangeth the earth vpon nothing.

8 Las aguas ata en sus nubes, y las nubes no se rompen debajo de ellas.

He bindeth the waters in his cloudes, and the cloude is not broken vnder them.

9 El aprieta la faz de su trono, y extiende sobre él su nube.

He holdeth backe the face of his throne: and spreadeth his cloude vpon it.

10 El cercó con término la superficie de las aguas hasta que se acabe la luz y las tinieblas.

He hath set bounds about the waters, vntil the day and night come to an ende.

11 Las columnas del cielo tiemblan, y se espantan de su reprensión.

The pillars of heauen tremble and quake at his reproofe.

12 El rompe la mar con su potencia, y con su entendimiento hiere [su] hinchazón.

The sea is calme by his power, and by his vnderstanding he smiteth the pride thereof.

13 Su Espíritu adornó los cielos: su mano crió la serpiente rolliza.

His Spirite hath garnished the heauens, and his hand hath formed the crooked serpent.

14 He aquí, estas son partes de sus caminos: ¿y cuán poco es lo que habemos oído de él? porque el estruendo de sus fortalezas ¿quién lo entenderá?

Loe, these are part of his wayes: but how litle a portion heare we of him? and who can vnderstand his fearefull power?
