1 Timoteo 6
1 Todos los que están debajo de yugo de servidumbre, tengan a sus señores por dignos de toda honra, porque no sea blasfemado el nombre del Señor y su doctrina.
As many as are under a yoke [as] slaves, [their] own masters of all honor worthy they should esteem, so that not the name of God and the teaching may be denigrated.
2 Y los que tienen señores creyentes, no los tengan en menos, por ser sus hermanos; antes los sirvan mejor, por cuanto son fieles y amados, y partícipes del beneficio. Estas cosas enseña, y exhorta.
Those now believing having masters not they should despise [them] because brothers they are; but rather they should serve [them], because believing [ones] they are and beloved by the good service being helped. These things do teach and do exhort.
3 Si alguno enseña de otra manera, y no se atiene a las sanas palabras de nuestro Señor Jesu Cristo, y a la doctrina que es conforme a la piedad,
If anyone teaches another doctrine and not he draws near to sound words of the Lord of us Jesus Christ and the according to godliness teaching,
4 Hinchado es, nada sabe, sino que enloquece acerca de cuestiones y contiendas de palabras, de las cuales nacen envidias, pleitos, maledicencias, malas sospechas,
he has been puffed up nothing knowing but unhealthy about controversies and disputes about words, out of which come envy, strife, slander, suspicions evil,
5 Disputas perversas de hombres de corrompido entendimiento, y privados de la verdad, y que tienen la piedad por granjería: apártate de los que son tales.
[and] constant frictions corrupted among men in mind and defrauded of the truth, holding a means of gain to be godliness (do depart from [one of] such. *K)
6 Grande granjería empero es la piedad, con el contentamiento de lo que basta.
Is however gain great godliness with contentment.
7 Porque nada trajimos al mundo, y sin duda nada podremos sacar.
No [thing] for we brought into the world, (evident *K) because neither to carry out anything are we able;
8 Así que teniendo sustento, y con que cubrirnos, seamos contentos con esto.
Having however sustenance and coverings, with these we will be content.
9 Porque los que quieren ser ricos, caen en tentación y en lazo, y en muchas codicias insensatas y dañosas, que anegan a los hombres en perdición y muerte.
Those however desiring to be rich they fall into temptation and a snare and desires many foolish and harmful, which plunge men into ruin and destruction.
10 Porque el amor del dinero es raíz de todos los males; el cual codiciando algunos erraron de la fe, y a sí mismos se traspasaron de muchos dolores.
A root for of all kinds of evils is the love of money, which some stretching after were seduced away from the faith and themselves pierced with sorrows many.
11 Mas tú, oh hombre de Dios, huye de estas cosas; y sigue la justicia, la piedad, la fe, el amor, la paciencia, la mansedumbre.
You yourself however, O man of God, these things do flee, do pursue now righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, ([and] gentleness; *N+KO)
12 Pelea la buena pelea de fe: echa mano de la vida eterna, a la cual asimismo eres llamado, habiendo hecho buena profesión delante de muchos testigos. (aiōnios g166)
do fight the good fight of the faith, do lay hold of the eternal life to which (also *k) you were called and did confess the good confession before many witnesses. (aiōnios g166)
13 Te mando delante de Dios, que da vida a todas las cosas, y de Jesu Cristo, que testificó una buena profesión delante de Poncio Pilato,
I charge you before God who (is giving life *N+kO) to all things and Christ Jesus the [One who] having testified before Pontius Pilate the good confession
14 Que guardes este mandamiento sin mácula, ni reprensión, hasta que aparezca el Señor nuestro Jesu Cristo:
to keep you the commandment without stain, above reproach until the appearing of the Lord of us Jesus Christ,
15 Al cual a su tiempo mostrará el bienaventurado y solo poderoso, Rey de reyes, y Señor de señores:
which in seasons [their] own He will display the blessed and alone Sovereign, the King of those being kings and [the] Lord of those being lords,
16 Que solo tiene inmortalidad, que habita en luz a donde no se puede llegar: a quien ninguno de los hombres vio jamás, ni puede ver: al cual sea la honra, y el imperio sempiterno. Amén. (aiōnios g166)
alone having immortality, in light dwelling unapproachable, whom has seen no [one] of men nor to see is able, to whom [be] honor and dominion eternal, Amen. (aiōnios g166)
17 A los ricos en este siglo manda que no sean altivos, ni pongan la esperanza en la incertidumbre de las riquezas; sino en el Dios vivo, que nos da todas las cosas en abundancia para que las gocemos. (aiōn g165)
To the rich in the present age do instruct [them] not to be high-minded nor to have hope in of riches [the] uncertainty but (on *N+kO) God (who is living *K) who is providing us all things richly for enjoyment, (aiōn g165)
18 Que hagan bien, que sean ricos en buenas obras, prontos para repartir, comunicativos.
to do good, to be rich in works good, generous in distributing to be, ready to share,
19 Atesorando para sí buen fundamento para en lo porvenir, para que echen mano a la vida eterna.
treasuring up for themselves a foundation good for the future, so that they may take hold of that which ([is] truly *N+KO) life.
20 Oh Timoteo, guarda lo que se te ha encomendado, apartándote de las disputas profanas y vacías, y de las objeciones de la ciencia falsamente llamada así:
O Timothy, the (deposit committed [to you] *N+kO) do guard avoiding the profane empty babblings and opposing arguments falsely called knowledge,
21 La cual muchos profesando, han errado acerca de la fe. La gracia sea contigo. Amén. La primera a Timoteo fue escrita de Laodicea, que es metrópoli de la Frigia Pacatiana.
which some professing from the faith went astray. Grace [be] with (you [all] *N+kO) (Amen. *KO) (to Timothy first it was written from Laodicea which is capital of Phrygia of Pacatiana. *K)
