Salmos 83

1 Cántico. Salmo de Asaf. Oh Dios, no permanezcas mudo; no estés sordo, oh Dios, ni te muestres pasivo.

The song of the salm of Asaph. God, who schal be lijk thee? God, be thou not stille, nether be thou peesid.

2 Mira el tumulto que hacen tus enemigos, y cómo los que te odian yerguen su cabeza.

For lo! thin enemyes sowneden; and thei that haten thee reisiden the heed.

3 A tu pueblo le traman asechanzas; se confabulan contra los que Tú proteges.

Thei maden a wickid counsel on thi puple; and thei thouyten ayens thi seyntis.

4 “Venid (dicen), borrémoslos; que ya no sean pueblo; no quede ni memoria del nombre de Israel.”

Thei seiden, Come ye, and leese we hem fro the folk; and the name of Israel be no more hadde in mynde.

5 Así conspiran todos a una y forman liga contra Ti:

For thei thouyten with oon acord;

6 las tiendas de Edom y los ismaelitas, Moab y los agarenos,

the tabernaclis of Ydumeys, and men of Ismael disposiden a testament togidere ayens thee. Moab, and Agarenus, Jebal, and Amon, and Amalech;

7 Gebal y Ammón y Amalec, Filistea y los habitantes de Tiro.

8 También los asirios se les han unido, y se han hecho auxiliares de los hijos de Lot.

For Assur cometh with hem; thei ben maad in to help to the sones of Loth.

9 Haz Tú con ellos como con Madián y con Sísara, y con Jabín, junto al torrente Cisón;

Make thou to hem as to Madian, and Sisara; as to Jabyn in the stronde of Sison.

10 que perecieron en Endor, y vinieron a ser como estiércol para la tierra.

Thei perischiden in Endor; thei weren maad as a toord of erthe.

11 Trata a sus caudillos como a Oreb y a Zeb; a todos sus jefes, como a Zebee y a Salmaná,

Putte thou the prynces of hem as Oreb and Zeb; and Zebee and Salmana. Alle the princis of hem, that seiden;

12 pues han dicho: “Ocupemos para nosotros las tierras de Dios.”

Holde we bi eritage the seyntuarie of God.

13 Dios mío, hazlos como el polvo en un remolino y la hojarasca presa del viento.

My God, putte thou hem as a whele; and as stobil bifor the face of the wynde.

14 Como fuego que consume la selva, como llama que abrasa los montes,

As fier that brenneth a wode; and as flawme brynnynge hillis.

15 así persíguelos en tu tempestad, y atérralos en tu borrasca.

So thou schalt pursue hem in thi tempeste; and thou schalt disturble hem in thin ire.

16 Haz que sus rostros se cubran de vergüenza, para que busquen tu nombre ¡oh Dios!

Lord, fille thou the faces of hem with schenschipe; and thei schulen seke thi name.

17 Queden para siempre en la ignominia y en la turbación; sean confundidos y perezcan.

Be thei aschamed, and be thei disturblid in to world of world; and be thei schent and perische thei.

18 Y sepan que tu Nombre es Yahvé; y que solo Tú eres el Altísimo sobre toda la tierra.

And knowe thei, that the Lord is name to thee; thou aloone art the hiyeste in ech lond.
