Josué 18

1 Se reunió toda la Congregación de los hijos de Israel en Silo, donde establecieron el Tabernáculo de la Reunión; y el país estaba sometido delante de ellos.

And alle the sones of Israel weren gaderid in Silo, and there thei `settiden faste the tabernacle of witnessing; and the lond was suget to hem.

2 Quedaban de los hijos de Israel siete tribus que no habían recibido aún su herencia.

Sotheli seuene linagis of the sones of Israel dwelliden, that hadden not yit takun her possessiouns.

3 Dijo Josué a los hijos de Israel: “¿Hasta cuándo os mostraréis ociosos para apoderaros del país que Yahvé, el Dios de vuestros padres, os ha dado?

To whiche Josue seide, Hou longe faden ye `bi cowardise, `ethir slouthe, and entren not to welde the lond, which the Lord God of youre fadris yaf to you?

4 Elegid tres hombres de cada tribu, que yo enviaré, para que se levanten y recorran el país y hagan de él una descripción a efectos de su reparto, y después vuelvan a este lugar.

Chese ye of ech lynage thre men, that Y sende hem, and thei go, and cumpasse the lond; and that thei discryue `the lond bi the noumbre of ech multitude, and brynge to me that, that ye han discriued.

5 Lo dividirán en siete partes, quedando Judá en su territorio al sur, y la casa de José en su posesión al norte.

Departe ye the lond to you in to seuene partis; Judas be in hise termes at the south coost, and `the hows of Joseph at the north;

6 Haréis un plan para dividir el país en siete partes, que me traeréis aquí, para que yo os las sortee aquí delante de Yahvé, nuestro Dios.

discryue ye `the myddil lond bitwixe hem in to seuene partis; and thanne ye schulen come to me, that Y sende lot to you here bifor youre Lord God;

7 Pues no habrá entre vosotros porción alguna para los levitas, sino que su herencia es el sacerdocio de Yahvé. Gad, Rubén y la media tribu de Manasés han recibido ya su herencia al otro lado del Jordán, al oriente, la cual les dio Moisés, siervo de Yahvé.”

for the part of Leuytis is not among you, but the preesthod of the Lord, this is the eritage `of hem. Forsothe Gad, and Ruben, and the half lynage of Manasses hadden take now her possessiouns ouer Jordan, at the eest coost, whiche possessiouns Moises, the `seruaunt of the Lord, yaf to hem.

8 Se levantaron entonces los hombres y partieron, y cuando se fueron a hacer la descripción del país, Josué les dio esta orden: “Id y recorred el país y haced la descripción, y después volved a mí para que yo os eche las suertes delante de Yahvé aquí en Silo.”

And whanne the men hadden rise to go, to discryue the lond, Josue comaundide to hem, and seide, Cumpasse ye the lond, and discryue it, and turne ayen to me, that Y sende lot to you here in Silo, bifore youre Lord God.

9 Partieron los hombres y recorrieron el país y lo describieron en un libro, según las ciudades, (dividiéndolo) en siete partes. Después volvieron a Josué, al campamento de Silo.

And so thei yeden, and cumpassiden that lond, and departiden `in to seuene partis, writynge in a book; and thei turneden ayen to Josue, in to the castels in Silo.

10 Luego Josué les echó suertes en Silo, delante de Yahvé; y allí Josué repartió el país a los hijos de Israel, conforme a sus divisiones.

Which Josue sente lottis bifor the Lord God in Silo, and departide the lond to the sones of Israel, in to seuene partis.

11 Y salió la suerte de la tribu de los hijos de Benjamín, según sus familias, y el territorio que les tocó en suerte se hallaba entre los hijos de Judá y los hijos de José.

And the firste lot of the sones of Beniamyn, bi her meynees, stiede, that thei schulden welde the lond bitwixe the sones of Juda and the sones of Joseph.

12 Su frontera septentrional arrancaba desde el Jordán, subía hacia la vertiente, al norte de Jericó, y luego por la montaña hacia el oeste, para llegar al desierto de Betaven.

And the terme of hem was ayens the north fro Jordan, and passide bi the side of Jerico of the north coost; and it stiede fro thennus ayens the west to the hilli places, and it cam to the wildirnesse of Bethauen;

13 De allí pasaba la frontera a Luz, por el lado meridional de Luz, que es Betel; descendía después hacia Atarot-Adar, al monte que está al sur de Bethorón de abajo.

and it passide bisidis Luza to the south; thilke is Bethel; and it goith doun in to Astoroth Adar, in to the hil which is at the south of lowere Betheron; and is bowid,

14 Por el lado del oeste se inclinaba la frontera hacia el sur, desde el monte que está delante de Bethorón, al sur, y terminaba en Kiryatbaal, que es Kiryatyearim, ciudad de los hijos de Judá. Este era el lado occidental.

and cumpassith ayens the see, at the south of the hil that biholdith Betheron ayens the north; and the outgoyngis therof ben in to Cariathbaal, which is clepid also Cariathiarym, the citee of the sones of Juda; this is the greet coost ayens the see, at the west.

15 Al sur partía desde el extremo de Kiryatyearim; y siguiendo la frontera hacia el oeste, llegaba hasta la fuente de las aguas de Neftoa.

Sotheli fro the south, bi the part of Cariathiarym, the terme goith out ayens the see, and cometh til to the wel of watris of Nepthoa;

16 La frontera bajaba hasta el extremo del monte que está enfrente del valle de Ben-Hinnom, al norte del valle de Refaím. Después descendía por el valle de Hinnom hacia la vertiente meridional de los jebuseos, y de ahí bajaba a la fuente de Rogel.

and it goith doun in to the part of the hil that biholdith the valei of the sones of Ennon, and is ayens the north coost, in the laste part of the valey of Raphaym; and Jehennon, that is, the valei of Ennon, goith doun bi the side of Jebusei, at the south, and cometh to the welle of Rogel,

17 Se volvía hacia el norte, seguía hasta En-Semes, se dirigía a GeIiIot, que está frente a la subida de Adumim, y bajaba a la piedra de Bohan, hijo de Rubén.

and passith to the north, and goith out to Emsemes, that is, the welle of the sunne,

18 Luego pasaba por la vertiente septentrional, frente al Arabá, y bajaba al Arabá.

and passith to the litle hillis that ben ayens the stiyng of Adomyn; and it goith doun to Taben Boen, that is, the stoon of Boen, sone of Ruben, and passide bi the side of the north to the feeldi places; and it goith doun in to the pleyn,

19 Después pasaba la frontera por la vertiente septentrional de Bethoglá y terminaba en la lengua septentrional del Mar Salado, en la desembocadura del Jordán, al sur. Esta era la frontera meridional.

and passith forth ayens the north to Bethagala; and the outgoyngis therof ben ayens the arm of the salteste see, fro the north, in the ende of Jordan at the south coost,

20 Por el lado oriental el Jordán servía de frontera. Esta fue la herencia de los hijos de Benjamín, según sus familias, demarcados sus lindes por todo su alrededor.

which is the terme therof fro the eest. This is the possessioun of the sones of Beniamyn, bi her termes in cumpas, and bi her meynees;

21 Las ciudades de la tribu de los hijos de Benjamín, según sus familias, eran: Jericó, Bethoglá, Emek-Casís,

and the citees therof weren Jerico, and Bethagla, and the valei of Casis,

22 Betarabá, Zemaraim, Betel,

Betharacha, and Samaraym,

23 Avim, Pará, Ofrá,

and Bethel, and Anym, and Affara,

24 Kefar-Haammoná, Ofní, Gaba: doce ciudades con sus aldeas;

and Offira, the toun of Hesmona, and Offym, and Gabee, twelue citees, and `the townes of tho;

25 Gabaón, Rama, Beerot,

Gabaon, and Rama,

26 Masfá, Kefirá, Moza,

and Beroth, and Mesphe, and Caphera, and Ammosa,

27 Réquem, Irpeel, Tárala,

and Recem, Jarephel, and Tharela,

28 Zelá, Elef, Jebús, que es Jerusalén; Gabaat y Kiryat: catorce ciudades con sus aldeas. Esta fue la herencia de los hijos de Benjamín, según sus familias.

and Sela, Heleph, and Jebus, which is Jerusalem, Gabaath, and Cariath, fouretene citees and `the townes of tho; this is the possessioun of the sones of Beniamyn, bi her meynees.
