1 Crónicas 26
1 He aquí las clases de los porteros: De los coreítas, Meselemías, hijo de Coré, de los hijos de Asaf.
To the courses of the door-keepers, pertained, —of the Korahites, Meshelemiah son of Kore, of the sons of Asaph;
2 Meselemías tuvo por hijos: Zacarías, el primogénito; Jediael el segundo; Zebadías, el tercero; Jatniel, el cuarto;
and, Meshelemiah, had sons, —Zechariah the firstborn, Jediael the second, Zebadiah the third, Jathniel the fourth;
3 Elam, el quinto; Johanán, el sexto; Elioenai, el séptimo.
Elam the fifth, Jehohanan the sixth, Eliehoenai the seventh.
4 Hijos de Obededom: Semeías, el primogénito; Josabad, el segundo; Joah, el tercero; Sacar, el cuarto; Nataniel, el quinto;
And, Obed-edom, had sons, —Shemaiah the firstborn, Jehozabad the second, Josh the third, and Sacar the fourth, and Nethanel the fifth;
5 Amiel, el sexto; Isacar, el séptimo; Peulletai, el octavo; porque Dios le había bendecido.
Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, Peullethai, the eighth, —for God had blessed him.
6 A Semeías, su hijo, le nacieron hijos, que eran jefes en la casa de su padre; porque eran hombres valerosos.
And, to Shemaiah his son, were born sons, who bare rule to their ancestral house, —for, heroes of valour, were they.
7 Hijos de Semeías: Otní, Rafael, Obed, Elsabad y sus hermanos, hombres valerosos, Eliú y Samaquías.
the sons of Shemaiah, were Othni and Rephael, and Obed, Elzabad, whose brethren were sons of valour, —Elihu, and Semachiah.
8 Todos estos eran de los hijos de Obededom; ellos y sus hijos y sus hermanos eran hombres valerosos y robustos para el ministerio: sesenta y dos de los hijos de Obededom.
All these, were of the sons of Obed-edom, they and their sons and their brethren, able men in strength for the service, —sixty-two, pertaining to Obed-edom.
9 Meselemías tuvo diez y ocho hijos y hermanos, hombres valerosos.
And, Meshelemiah, had sons, and brethren, sons of valour, eighteen.
10 Hosá, de los hijos de Merarí, tuvo estos hijos: Simrí, el jefe —aunque no era el primogénito, su padre le había puesto por jefe—;
And, Hosah of the sons of Merari, had sons, —Shimri the chief, for though he was not the firstborn, yet his father, made him, chief.
11 Helcías, el segundo; Tabalías, el tercero; Zacarías, el cuarto. Todos los hijos y los hermanos de Hosá eran trece.
Hilkiah the second, Tebaliah the third, Zechariah the fourth, —all the sons and brethren of Hosah, were thirteen.
12 Estas clases de los porteros, los jefes de estos hombres, lo mismo que sus hermanos, estaban encargados de funciones en la guardia de la Casa de Yahvé.
To these, belonged the courses of door-keepers, to the chiefs of the strong men, belonged charges, equally with their brethren, —to be in attendance in the house of Yahweh.
13 Echaron suertes para cada puerta, sobre pequeños y grandes, con arreglo a sus casas paternas;
Yea they cast lots, as the small so the great, by their ancestral house, for every several gate.
14 y cayó la suerte para la puerta oriental sobre Selemías. Después echaron suertes para Zacarías, su hijo, que era un prudente consejero, y le tocó por suerte el norte.
And the lot eastward fell to Shelemiah. And, for Zechariah his son, a discreet counsellor, they cast lots, and his lot came out, northward.
15 Asimismo a Obededom, el sur; y a sus hijos, la casa de los almacenes;
To Obed-edom, southward, —and, to his sons, the storehouse.
16 a Supim y Hosá, el occidente, con la puerta de Salléquet, en el camino de la subida, correspondiendo una guardia a la otra.
To Shuppim and to Hosah, westward, near the refuse-gate, in the causeway that goeth up, —one ward as well as another.
17 Al oriente había seis levitas, al norte, de día cuatro; al sur, de día cuatro; y para los almacenes, (cuatro) de dos en dos.
Eastward—daily, were six, —northward—daily, four, southward—daily, four, and, for the stores, two and two.
18 Para las dependencias, al occidente, cuatro para la subida, y dos para las dependencias.
For the precinct—westward, four, at the causeway, two—by the precinct.
19 Estos son las clases de los porteros, de los hijos de los coreítas y de los hijos de Merarí.
These, were the courses of the door-keepers, of the sons of the Korahites, and of the sons of Merari.
20 Los levitas, sus hermanos, custodiaban los tesoros de la Casa de Dios, y los tesoros de las cosas sagradas.
And, the Levites, their brethren, were over the treasuries of the house of God, even to the treasuries of hallowed things.
21 Los hijos de Ladán, descendientes de Gersón (es decir), los gersonitas, las cabezas de las casas paternas de Ladán gersonita, eran los Jehielitas,
The sons of Ladan—the sons of the Gershonites belonging to Ladan—the ancestral chiefs belonging to Ladan the Gershonite, were Jehieli;
22 o sea, los hijos de Jehieli, Zetam y Joel, su hermano. Estos tenían la guarda de los tesoros de la Casa de Yahvé.
the sons of Jehieli, Zetham and Joel his brother who were over the treasuries of the house of Yahweh.
23 De entre los Amramitas, Isharitas, Hebronitas y Ucielitas,
Then came certain of the Amramites, of the Izharites, of the Hebronites, of the Uzzielites.
24 Sebuel, hijo de Gersón, hijo de Moisés, era tesorero mayor.
And, Shebuel, son of Gershom, son of Moses, was chief ruler over the treasuries.
25 Y sus hermanos, descendientes de Eliéser —hijo de este fue Rehabías, hijo de este Isaías, hijo de este Joram, hijo de este Zicrí, hijo de este Selomit—;
And, his brethren pertaining to Eliezer, were Rehabiah his son, and Jeshaiah his son, and Joram his son, and Zichri his son, and Shelomoth his son.
26 este Selomit y sus hermanos tenían la guarda de todos los tesoros de las cosas sagradas que habían consagrado el rey David, los jefes de las casas paternas, los jefes de miles y de cientos, y los jefes del ejército.
The same Shelomoth and his brethren, were over all the treasuries of the hallowed things, which David the king and the ancestral chiefs, with the captains of thousands and hundreds and the captains of the army, had hallowed:
27 Las habían consagrado del botín de guerra y de los despojos para el mantenimiento de la Casa de Yahvé.
out of the battles and out of the spoil, had they hallowed [them], —to strengthen [the provision] for the house of Yahweh.
28 Todo lo que habían consagrado el vidente Samuel, Saúl, hijo de Cis, Abner, hijo de Ner, y Joab, hijo de Sarvia; todo lo consagrado por cualquier persona, estaba bajo Selomit y sus hermanos.
And, all that Samuel the seer, and Saul son of Kish, and Abner son of Ner, and Joab son of Zeruiah, had hallowed, whosoever had hallowed anything, it was under the direction of Shelomoth, and his brethren.
29 De entre los Isharitas, Conenías y sus hijos (administraban) como magistrados y jueces los negocios exteriores de Israel.
Of the Izharites, Chenaniah and his sons, were for the outward business over Israel, —as officers, and as judges.
30 De entre los Hebronitas, Hasabías y sus hermanos, hombres de valer, en número de mil setecientos, tenían la inspección de los israelitas de la otra parte del Jordán, al occidente, tanto en todos los asuntos de Yahvé, como en los negocios del rey.
Of the Hebronites, Hashabiah and his brethren, sons of valour, one thousand seven hundred, had the oversight of Israel, across the Jordan westward, —for all the business of Yahweh, and for the service of the king.
31 De los Hebronitas era jefe Jerías. Acerca de los Hebronitas, en cuanto a sus linajes, según sus casas paternas, se hicieron investigaciones en el año cuarenta del reinado de David, y se hallaron entre ellos hombres de valía en Jazer de Galaad.
Of the Hebronites, Jerijah, was chief, [he was] of the Hebronites by his generations, by his fathers, —in the fortieth year of the reign of David, were they sought out, and there were found among them heroes of valour, in Jazer of Gilead;
32 Sus hermanos, hombres valerosos, jefes de familias en número de dos mil setecientos, fueron constituidos por el rey David sobre los Rubenitas, los Gaditas y la media tribu de Manasés, en todos los asuntos de Dios y en todos los negocios del rey.
and, his brethren that were heroes of valour, were two thousand and seven hundred, ancestral chiefs, —so David the king gave them oversight, over the Reubenites and the Gadites and the half tribe of Manassites, in all the affairs of God, and the affairs of the king.
