Псалтирь 131

1 Господи, не вознесеся сердце мое, ниже вознесостеся очи мои: ниже ходих в великих, ниже в дивных паче мене.

LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.

2 Аще не смиреномудрствовах, но вознесох душу мою, яко отдоеное на матерь свою, тако воздаси на душу мою.

Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child.

3 Да уповает Израиль на Господа отныне и до века.

Let Israel hope in the Lord from henceforth and for ever.
