Первое послание Иоанна 5

1 Всяк веруяй, яко Иисус есть Христос, от Бога рожден есть: и всяк любяй Рождшаго любит и Рожденнаго от Него.

Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born from God, and whoever loves a father also loves the child born from him.

2 О сем вемы, яко любим чада Божия, егда Бога любим и заповеди Его соблюдаем.

Because of this we know that we love God's children, when we love God and do his commandments.

3 Сия бо есть любы Божия, да заповеди Его соблюдаем: и заповеди Его тяжки не суть.

For this is love for God: that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome.

4 Яко всяк рожденный от Бога побеждает мир: и сия есть победа, победившая мир, вера наша.

For everyone who is born from God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.

5 Кто есть побеждаяй мир, токмо веруяй, яко Иисус есть Сын Божий?

Who is the one who overcomes the world? The one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.

6 Сей есть пришедый водою и кровию и Духом, Иисус Христос, не водою точию, но водою и кровию: и Дух есть свидетелствуяй, яко Дух есть истина.

This is the one who came by water and blood: Jesus Christ. He came not only by water, but also by water and blood.

7 Яко трие суть свидетелствующии на небеси, Отец, Слово и Святый Дух: и Сии три едино суть.

For there are three who bear witness:

8 И трие суть свидетелствующии на земли, дух и вода и кровь: и трие во едино суть.

the Spirit, the water, and the blood. These three are in agreement.

9 Аще свидетелство человеческое приемлем, свидетелство Божие более есть: яко сие есть свидетелство Божие, еже свидетелствова о Сыне Своем.

If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater. For the testimony of God is this, that he has borne witness concerning his Son.

10 Веруяй в Сына Божия имать свидетелство в себе: не веруяй Богови лжа сотворил есть Его, яко не верова во свидетелство, еже свидетелствова Бог о Сыне Своем.

Anyone who believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself. Anyone who does not believe God has made him out to be a liar, because he has not believed the witness that God has given concerning his Son.

11 И сие есть свидетелство, яко живот вечный дал есть нам Бог, и сей живот в Сыне Его есть. (aiōnios g166)

And the witness is this: God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. (aiōnios g166)

12 Имеяй Сына Божия имать живот: а не имеяй Сына Божия живота не имать.

The one who has the Son has life. The one who does not have the Son of God does not have life.

13 Сия писах вам верующым во имя Сына Божия, да весте, яко живот вечный имате, и да веруете во имя Сына Божия. (aiōnios g166)

I have written to you these things so that you will know that you have eternal life—to you who believe in the name of the Son of God. (aiōnios g166)

14 И сие есть дерзновение, еже имамы к Нему, яко аще чесо просим по воли Его, послушает нас:

Also, this is the confidence we have before him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.

15 и аще вемы, яко послушает нас, еже аще просим, вемы, яко имамы прошения, ихже просихом от Него.

Also, if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask of him—we know that we have whatever we have asked of him.

16 Аще кто узрит брата своего согрешающа грех не к смерти, да просит, и даст ему живот, согрешающым не к смерти. Есть грех к смерти: не о том, глаголю, да молится.

If anyone sees his brother commit a sin that does not result in death, he must pray, and God will give him life. I refer to those whose sin does not result in death. There is a sin that results in death; I am not saying that he should pray about that.

17 Всяка неправда грех есть, и есть грех не к смерти.

All unrighteousness is sin, but there is sin that does not result in death.

18 Вемы, яко всяк рожденный от Бога не согрешает: но рожденный от Бога блюдет себе, и лукавый не прикасается ему.

We know that whoever is born from God does not sin. But the one who was born from God keeps him safe, and the evil one cannot harm him.

19 Вемы, яко от Бога есмы, и мир весь во зле лежит.

We know that we are from God, and we know that the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.

20 Вемы же, яко Сын Божий прииде и дал есть нам (свет и) разум, да познаем Бога истиннаго и да будем во истиннем Сыне Его Иисусе Христе: Сей есть истинный Бог и живот вечный. (aiōnios g166)

But we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. Also, we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. This one is the true God and eternal life. (aiōnios g166)

21 Чадца, храните себе от треб идолских. Аминь.

Children, keep yourselves from idols.
