1 Јованова 3
1 Видите какву нам је љубав дао Отац, да се деца Божија назовемо и будемо; зато свет не познаје нас, јер Њега не позна.
Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of YHWH! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.
2 Љубазни! Сад смо деца Божија, и још се не показа шта ћемо бити; него знамо да кад се покаже, бићемо као и Он, јер ћемо Га видети као што јесте.
Beloved, now we are children of YHWH; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.
3 И сваки који ову наду има на Њега, чисти се, као и Он што је чист.
And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.
4 Сваки који чини грех и безакоње чини: и грех је безакоње.
Whoever commits sin transgresses also the law, for sin is the transgression of the law.
5 И знате да се Он јави да грехе наше узме; и греха у Њему нема.
And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin.
6 Који год у Њему стоји не греши; који год греши не виде Га нити Га позна.
Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him.
7 Дечице! Нико да вас не вара: који правду твори праведник је, као што је Он праведан;
Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous.
8 Који твори грех од ђавола је, јер ђаво греши од почетка. Зато се јави Син Божји да раскопа дела ђавоља.
He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of YHWH was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.
9 Који је год рођен од Бога не чини греха, јер Његово семе стоји у њему, и не може грешити, јер је рођен од Бога.
Whoever has been born of YHWH does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of YHWH.
10 По томе се познају деца Божија и деца ђавоља: који год не твори правде, није од Бога, и који не љуби брата свог.
In this the children of YHWH and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of YHWH, nor is he who does not love his brother.
11 Јер је ово заповест, коју чусте испочетка, да љубимо један другог.
For this is the message that you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another,
12 Не као што Каин беше од нечастивог и закла брата свог. И за који га узрок закла? Јер дела његова беху зла, а брата му праведна.
not as Cain who was of the wicked one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his works were evil and his brother's righteous.
13 Не чудите се, браћо моја, ако свет мрзи на вас.
Do not marvel, my brethren, if the world hates you.
14 Ми знамо да пређосмо из смрти у живот, јер љубимо браћу; јер ко не љуби брата остаје у смрти.
We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love his brother abides in death.
15 Сваки који мрзи на брата свог крвник је људски; и знате да ниједан крвник људски нема у себи вечни живот. (aiōnios g166)
Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. (aiōnios g166)
16 По том познасмо љубав што Он за нас душу своју положи: ми смо дужни полагати душе за браћу.
By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
17 Који дакле има богатство овог света, и види брата свог у невољи и затвори срце своје од њега, како љубав Божија стоји у њему?
But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of YHWH abide in him?
18 Дечице моја! Да се не љубимо речју ни језиком, него делом и истином.
My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.
19 И по том дознајемо да смо од истине, и пред Њим тешимо срца своја.
And by this we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before Him.
20 Јер ако нам зазире срце наше, Бог је већи од срца нашег и зна све.
For if our heart condemns us, YHWH is greater than our heart, and knows all things.
21 Љубазни! Ако нам срце наше не зазире, слободу имамо пред Богом;
Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward YHWH.
22 И шта год заиштемо, примићемо од Њега, јер заповести Његове држимо и чинимо шта је Њему угодно.
And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.
23 И ово је заповест Његова да верујемо у име Сина Његовог Исуса Христа, и да љубимо један другог као што нам је дао заповест.
And this is His commandment: that we should believe on the name of His Son Yahushua the Messiah and love one another, as He gave us commandment.
24 И који држи заповести Његове у Њему стоји, и Он у њему. И по том познајемо да стоји у нама, по Духу кога нам је дао.
Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.
