கா³லாதிந​: 5

1 க்²ரீஷ்டோ(அ)ஸ்மப்⁴யம்’ யத் ஸ்வாதந்த்ர்யம்’ த³த்தவாந் யூயம்’ தத்ர ஸ்தி²ராஸ்திஷ்ட²த தா³ஸத்வயுகே³ந புந ர்ந நிப³த்⁴யத்⁴வம்’|

With her freedom, Christ hath made you, free. Stand fast, therefore, and do not, again, with a yoke of servitude, be held fast!

2 பஸ்²யதாஹம்’ பௌலோ யுஷ்மாந் வதா³மி யதி³ சி²ந்நத்வசோ ப⁴வத² தர்ஹி க்²ரீஷ்டேந கிமபி நோபகாரிஷ்யத்⁴வே|

See! I, Paul, say unto you—if ye be getting circumcised, Christ will profit you, nothing.

3 அபரம்’ ய​: கஸ்²சித் சி²ந்நத்வக்³ ப⁴வதி ஸ க்ரு’த்ஸ்நவ்யவஸ்தா²யா​: பாலநம் ஈஸ்²வராய தா⁴ரயதீதி ப்ரமாணம்’ த³தா³மி|

Yea, I bear solemn witness again, unto every man getting circumcised, —that he is, a debtor, to do, the whole law.

4 யுஷ்மாகம்’ யாவந்தோ லோகா வ்யவஸ்த²யா ஸபுண்யீப⁴விதும்’ சேஷ்டந்தே தே ஸர்வ்வே க்²ரீஷ்டாத்³ ப்⁴ரஷ்டா அநுக்³ரஹாத் பதிதாஸ்²ச|

Ye have been set aside from Christ, ye who, by law, are to be declared righteous, —out of his favour, ye have fallen;

5 யதோ வயம் ஆத்மநா விஸ்²வாஸாத் புண்யலாபா⁴ஸா²ஸித்³த⁴ம்’ ப்ரதீக்ஷாமஹே|

For, we, in Spirit, by faith, for a hope of righteousness, are ardently waiting, —

6 க்²ரீஷ்டே யீஸௌ² த்வக்சே²தா³த்வக்சே²த³யோ​: கிமபி கு³ணம்’ நாஸ்தி கிந்து ப்ரேம்நா ஸப²லோ விஸ்²வாஸ ஏவ கு³ணயுக்த​: |

For, in Christ [Jesus], neither, circumcision, availeth anything, nor uncircumcision, but faith, through love, energising.

7 பூர்வ்வம்’ யூயம்’ ஸுந்த³ரம் அதா⁴வத கிந்த்விதா³நீம்’ கேந பா³தா⁴ம்’ ப்ராப்ய ஸத்யதாம்’ ந க்³ரு’ஹ்லீத²?

Ye were running well: —who hath hindered you, that, by truth, ye are not to be persuaded?

8 யுஷ்மாகம்’ ஸா மதி ர்யுஷ்மதா³ஹ்வாநகாரிண ஈஸ்²வராந்ந ஜாதா|

The persuasion, [is] not of him that calleth you: —

9 விகார​: க்ரு’த்ஸ்நஸ²க்தூநாம்’ ஸ்வல்பகிண்வேந ஜஸயதே|

A little leaven, leaveneth, the whole lump.

10 யுஷ்மாகம்’ மதி ர்விகாரம்’ ந க³மிஷ்யதீத்யஹம்’ யுஷ்மாநதி⁴ ப்ரபு⁴நாஸ²ம்’ஸே; கிந்து யோ யுஷ்மாந் விசாரலயதி ஸ ய​: கஸ்²சித்³ ப⁴வேத் ஸமுசிதம்’ த³ண்ட³ம்’ ப்ராப்ஸ்யதி|

I, am persuaded regarding you, in the Lord—that, for nothing else, ye will have any regard; but, he that is troubling you, shall bear the sentence, —whosoever he may be.

11 பரந்து ஹே ப்⁴ராதர​: , யத்³யஹம் இதா³நீம் அபி த்வக்சே²த³ம்’ ப்ரசாரயேயம்’ தர்ஹி குத உபத்³ரவம்’ பு⁴ஞ்ஜிய? தத்க்ரு’தே க்ருஸ²ம்’ நிர்ப்³பா³த⁴ம் அப⁴விஷ்யத்|

I, however, brethren—if, circumcision, I yet proclaim, why am I yet persecuted? After all, the stumbling-block of the cross hath been set aside.

12 யே ஜநா யுஷ்மாகம்’ சாஞ்சல்யம்’ ஜநயந்தி தேஷாம்’ சே²த³நமேவ மயாபி⁴லஷ்யதே|

Oh! that they would even leave off in dismay, who are unsettling you!

13 ஹே ப்⁴ராதர​: , யூயம்’ ஸ்வாதந்த்ர்யார்த²ம் ஆஹூதா ஆத்⁴வே கிந்து தத்ஸ்வாதந்த்ர்யத்³வாரேண ஸா²ரீரிகபா⁴வோ யுஷ்மாந் ந ப்ரவிஸ²து| யூயம்’ ப்ரேம்நா பரஸ்பரம்’ பரிசர்ய்யாம்’ குருத்⁴வம்’|

For, ye, on a footing of freedom, were called, brethren, —only, [turn] not your freedom into an occasion to the flesh, but, by means of your love, be serving one another;

14 யஸ்மாத் த்வம்’ ஸமீபவாஸிநி ஸ்வவத் ப்ரேம குர்ய்யா இத்யேகாஜ்ஞா க்ரு’த்ஸ்நாயா வ்யவஸ்தா²யா​: ஸாரஸம்’க்³ரஹ​: |

For, the whole law, in one word, is summed up—[namely] in this, —Thou shall love thy neighbour as thyself.

15 கிந்து யூயம்’ யதி³ பரஸ்பரம்’ த³ம்’த³ஸ்²யத்⁴வே (அ)ஸா²ஸ்²யத்⁴வே ச தர்ஹி யுஷ்மாகம் ஏகோ(அ)ந்யேந யந்ந க்³ரஸ்யதே தத்ர யுஷ்மாபி⁴​: ஸாவதா⁴நை ர்ப⁴விதவ்யம்’|

If, however, one another, ye bite and devour, take heed lest, by one another, ye be consumed!

16 அஹம்’ ப்³ரவீமி யூயம் ஆத்மிகாசாரம்’ குருத ஸா²ரீரிகாபி⁴லாஷம்’ மா பூரயத|

I say, moreover—by Spirit, be walking, and, fleshly coveting, ye will in nowise fulfil;

17 யத​: ஸா²ரீரிகாபி⁴லாஷ ஆத்மநோ விபரீத​: , ஆத்மிகாபி⁴லாஷஸ்²ச ஸ²ரீரஸ்ய விபரீத​: , அநயோருப⁴யோ​: பரஸ்பரம்’ விரோதோ⁴ வித்³யதே தேந யுஷ்மாபி⁴ ர்யத்³ அபி⁴லஷ்யதே தந்ந கர்த்தவ்யம்’|

For, the flesh, coveted against the Spirit, but, the Spirit, against the flesh, —for, these, unto one another, are opposed, lest, whatsoever things ye chance to desire, these, ye should be doing!

18 யூயம்’ யத்³யாத்மநா விநீயத்⁴வே தர்ஹி வ்யவஸ்தா²யா அதீ⁴நா ந ப⁴வத²|

And, if, by Spirit, ye are being led, ye are not under law.

19 அபரம்’ பரதா³ரக³மநம்’ வேஸ்²யாக³மநம் அஸு²சிதா காமுகதா ப்ரதிமாபூஜநம்

Manifest, however, are the works of the flesh, which, indeed, are—fornication, impurity, wantonness,

20 இந்த்³ரஜாலம்’ ஸ²த்ருத்வம்’ விவாதோ³(அ)ந்தர்ஜ்வலநம்’ க்ரோத⁴​: கலஹோ(அ)நைக்யம்’

idolatry, enchantment, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of wrath, factions, divisions, parties,

21 பார்த²க்யம் ஈர்ஷ்யா வதோ⁴ மத்தத்வம்’ லம்படத்வமித்யாதீ³நி ஸ்பஷ்டத்வேந ஸா²ரீரிகபா⁴வஸ்ய கர்ம்மாணி ஸந்தி| பூர்வ்வம்’ யத்³வத் மயா கதி²தம்’ தத்³வத் புநரபி கத்²யதே யே ஜநா ஏதாத்³ரு’ஸா²நி கர்ம்மாண்யாசரந்தி தைரீஸ்²வரஸ்ய ராஜ்யே(அ)தி⁴கார​: கதா³ச ந லப்ஸ்யதே|

envyings, drunkenness, revellings; —and such things as these: as to which I forewarn you, even as I have forewarned you, —that, they who such things as these do practise, shall not inherit, God’s kingdom.

22 கிஞ்ச ப்ரேமாநந்த³​: ஸா²ந்திஸ்²சிரஸஹிஷ்ணுதா ஹிதைஷிதா ப⁴த்³ரத்வம்’ விஸ்²வாஸ்யதா திதிக்ஷா

But, the fruit of the Spirit, is—love, joy, peace, long-suffering, graciousness, goodness, faithfulness,

23 பரிமிதபோ⁴ஜித்வமித்யாதீ³ந்யாத்மந​: ப²லாநி ஸந்தி தேஷாம்’ விருத்³தா⁴ காபி வ்யவஸ்தா² நஹி|

meekness, self-control; —against such things as these, there is no law.

24 யே து க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்ய லோகாஸ்தே ரிபுபி⁴ரபி⁴லாஷைஸ்²ச ஸஹிதம்’ ஸா²ரீரிகபா⁴வம்’ க்ருஸே² நிஹதவந்த​: |

And, they who are of Christ Jesus, have crucified, the flesh, with its susceptibilities and covetings.

25 யதி³ வயம் ஆத்மநா ஜீவாமஸ்தர்ஹ்யாத்மிகாசாரோ(அ)ஸ்மாபி⁴​: கர்த்தவ்ய​: ,

If we live by Spirit, by Spirit, let us also walk.

26 த³ர்ப​: பரஸ்பரம்’ நிர்ப⁴ர்த்ஸநம்’ த்³வேஷஸ்²சாஸ்மாபி⁴ ர்ந கர்த்தவ்யாநி|

Let us not become vain-glorious, —one another, challenging, one another, envying.
