கலஸிந​: 3

1 யதி³ யூயம்’ க்²ரீஷ்டேந ஸார்த்³த⁴ம் உத்தா²பிதா அப⁴வத தர்ஹி யஸ்மிந் ஸ்தா²நே க்²ரீஷ்ட ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய த³க்ஷிணபார்ஸ்²வே உபவிஷ்ட ஆஸ்தே தஸ்யோர்த்³த்⁴வஸ்தா²நஸ்ய விஷயாந் சேஷ்டத்⁴வம்’|

If, therefore, ye have been raised together with the Christ, the things on high, be seeking, where, the Christ, is—on the right hand of God, sitting;

2 பார்தி²வவிஷயேஷு ந யதமாநா ஊர்த்³த்⁴வஸ்த²விஷயேஷு யதத்⁴வம்’|

The things on high, hold in esteem, not the things upon the earth:

3 யதோ யூயம்’ ம்ரு’தவந்தோ யுஷ்மாகம்’ ஜீவிதஞ்ச க்²ரீஷ்டேந ஸார்த்³த⁴ம் ஈஸ்²வரே கு³ப்தம் அஸ்தி|

For ye have died, and, your life, is hid, together with the Christ, in God, —

4 அஸ்மாகம்’ ஜீவநஸ்வரூப​: க்²ரீஷ்டோ யதா³ ப்ரகாஸி²ஷ்யதே ததா³ தேந ஸார்த்³த⁴ம்’ யூயமபி விப⁴வேந ப்ரகாஸி²ஷ்யத்⁴வே|

As soon as, the Christ, shall be made manifest—our life, then, ye also, together with him, shall be made manifest in glory;

5 அதோ வேஸ்²யாக³மநம் அஸு²சிக்ரியா ராக³​: குத்ஸிதாபி⁴லாஷோ தே³வபூஜாதுல்யோ லோப⁴ஸ்²சைதாநி ர்பாத²வபுருஷஸ்யாங்கா³நி யுஷ்மாபி⁴ ர்நிஹந்யந்தாம்’|

Make dead, therefore, your members that are on the earth—as regardeth fornication, impurity, passion, base coveting, and greed, the which, is idolatry, —

6 யத ஏதேப்⁴ய​: கர்ம்மப்⁴ய ஆஜ்ஞாலங்கி⁴நோ லோகாந் ப்ரதீஸ்²வரஸ்ய க்ரோதோ⁴ வர்த்ததே|

On account of which things cometh the anger of God, —

7 பூர்வ்வம்’ யதா³ யூயம்’ தாந்யுபாஜீவத ததா³ யூயமபி தாந்யேவாசரத;

Wherein, ye also, walked, at one time, when ye were living in these things;

8 கிந்த்விதா³நீம்’ க்ரோதோ⁴ ரோஷோ ஜிஹிம்’ஸிஷா து³ர்முக²தா வத³நநிர்க³தகதா³லபஸ்²சைதாநி ஸர்வ்வாணி தூ³ரீகுருத்⁴வம்’|

But, now, do, ye also, put them all away, —anger, wrath, baseness, defamation, shameful talk out of your mouth:

9 யூயம்’ பரஸ்பரம்’ ம்ரு’ஷாகதா²ம்’ ந வத³த யதோ யூயம்’ ஸ்வகர்ம்மஸஹிதம்’ புராதநபுருஷம்’ த்யக்தவந்த​:

Be not guilty of falsehood one to another: having stript off the old man, together with his practices,

10 ஸ்வஸ்ரஷ்டு​: ப்ரதிமூர்த்யா தத்த்வஜ்ஞாநாய நூதநீக்ரு’தம்’ நவீநபுருஷம்’ பரிஹிதவந்தஸ்²ச|

And having put on the new—who is being moulded afresh unto personal knowledge, after the image of him that hath created him, —

11 தேந ச யிஹூதி³பி⁴ந்நஜாதீயயோஸ்²சி²ந்நத்வக³ச்சி²ந்நத்வசோ ர்ம்லேச்ச²ஸ்குதீ²யயோ ர்தா³ஸமுக்தயோஸ்²ச கோ(அ)பி விஸே²ஷோ நாஸ்தி கிந்து ஸர்வ்வேஷு ஸர்வ்வ​: க்²ரீஷ்ட ஏவாஸ்தே|

Wherein there cannot be Greek and Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, foreigner, Scythian, bond, free, —but, all things and in all, Christ:

12 அதஏவ யூயம் ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய மநோபி⁴லஷிதா​: பவித்ரா​: ப்ரியாஸ்²ச லோகா இவ ஸ்நேஹயுக்தாம் அநுகம்பாம்’ ஹிதைஷிதாம்’ நம்ரதாம்’ திதிக்ஷாம்’ ஸஹிஷ்ணுதாஞ்ச பரித⁴த்³த்⁴வம்’|

Put on, therefore, as men chosen of God, holy and beloved, tender affections of compassion, graciousness, lowliness of mind, meekness, long-suffering,

13 யூயம் ஏகைகஸ்யாசரணம்’ ஸஹத்⁴வம்’ யேந ச யஸ்ய கிமப்யபராத்⁴யதே தஸ்ய தம்’ தோ³ஷம்’ ஸ க்ஷமதாம்’, க்²ரீஷ்டோ யுஷ்மாகம்’ தோ³ஷாந் யத்³வத்³ க்ஷமிதவாந் யூயமபி தத்³வத் குருத்⁴வம்’|

Bearing one with another, and in favour forgiving one another—if any, against any, have a complaint, —according as, the Lord, in favour forgave you, so also ye;

14 விஸே²ஷத​: ஸித்³தி⁴ஜநகேந ப்ரேமப³ந்த⁴நேந ப³த்³தா⁴ ப⁴வத|

And, over all these things, love, which is a uniting-bond of completeness;

15 யஸ்யா​: ப்ராப்தயே யூயம் ஏகஸ்மிந் ஸ²ரீரே ஸமாஹூதா அப⁴வத ஸேஸ்²வரீயா ஸா²ந்தி ர்யுஷ்மாகம்’ மநாம்’ஸ்யதி⁴திஷ்ட²து யூயஞ்ச க்ரு’தஜ்ஞா ப⁴வத|

And let, the peace of Christ, act as umpire in your hearts, unto which ye have been called in [one] body, and be thankful:

16 க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்ய வாக்யம்’ ஸர்வ்வவித⁴ஜ்ஞாநாய ஸம்பூர்ணரூபேண யுஷ்மத³ந்தரே நிவமது, யூயஞ்ச கீ³தை ர்கா³நை​: பாரமார்தி²கஸங்கீர்த்தநைஸ்²ச பரஸ்பரம் ஆதி³ஸ²த ப்ரபோ³த⁴யத ச, அநுக்³ரு’ஹீதத்வாத் ப்ரபு⁴ம் உத்³தி³ஸ்²ய ஸ்வமநோபி⁴ ர்கா³யத ச|

Let, the word of the Christ, dwell within you richly, —in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another, with psalms, hymns, spiritual songs, with gratitude, raising song with your hearts unto God:

17 வாசா கர்ம்மணா வா யத்³ யத் குருத தத் ஸர்வ்வம்’ ப்ரபோ⁴ ர்யீஸோ² ர்நாம்நா குருத தேந பிதரம் ஈஸ்²வரம்’ த⁴ந்யம்’ வத³த ச|

And whatsoever ye may be doing, in word, or in work, all things, [do] in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks unto the Divine Father through him: —

18 ஹே யோஷித​: , யூயம்’ ஸ்வாமிநாம்’ வஸ்²யா ப⁴வத யதஸ்ததே³வ ப்ரப⁴வே ரோசதே|

Ye wives! be submitting yourselves unto your husbands, as is becoming in the Lord;

19 ஹே ஸ்வாமிந​: , யூயம்’ பா⁴ர்ய்யாஸு ப்ரீயத்⁴வம்’ தா​: ப்ரதி பருஷாலாபம்’ மா குருத்⁴வம்’|

Ye husbands! be loving your wives, and be not embittered against them;

20 ஹே பா³லா​: , யூயம்’ ஸர்வ்வவிஷயே பித்ரோராஜ்ஞாக்³ராஹிணோ ப⁴வத யதஸ்ததே³வ ப்ரபோ⁴​: ஸந்தோஷஜநகம்’|

Ye children! be obedient unto your parents in all things, for, this, is, well pleasing, in the Lord;

21 ஹே பிதர​: , யுஷ்மாகம்’ ஸந்தாநா யத் காதரா ந ப⁴வேயுஸ்தத³ர்த²ம்’ தாந் ப்ரதி மா ரோஷயத|

Ye fathers! be not irritating your children, lest they be disheartened;

22 ஹே தா³ஸா​: , யூயம்’ ஸர்வ்வவிஷய ஐஹிகப்ரபூ⁴நாம் ஆஜ்ஞாக்³ராஹிணோ ப⁴வத த்³ரு’ஷ்டிகோ³சரீயஸேவயா மாநவேப்⁴யோ ரோசிதும்’ மா யதத்⁴வம்’ கிந்து ஸரலாந்த​: கரணை​: ப்ரபோ⁴ ர்பா⁴த்யா கார்ய்யம்’ குருத்⁴வம்’|

Ye servants! be obedient, in all things, unto them who, according to the flesh, are your masters, —not with eye-service, as man-pleasers, but with singleness of heart, revering the Lord, —

23 யச்ச குருத்⁴வே தத் மாநுஷமநுத்³தி³ஸ்²ய ப்ரபு⁴ம் உத்³தி³ஸ்²ய ப்ரபு²ல்லமநஸா குருத்⁴வம்’,

Whatsoever ye may be doing, from the soul, be working at it, as unto the Lord, and not unto men, -

24 யதோ வயம்’ ப்ரபு⁴த​: ஸ்வர்கா³தி⁴காரரூபம்’ ப²லம்’ லப்ஸ்யாமஹ இதி யூயம்’ ஜாநீத² யஸ்மாத்³ யூயம்’ ப்ரபோ⁴​: க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்ய தா³ஸா ப⁴வத²|

Knowing that, from the Lord, ye shall duly receive the recompense of the inheritance, —unto the Lord Christ, are ye in service;

25 கிந்து ய​: கஸ்²சித்³ அநுசிதம்’ கர்ம்ம கரோதி ஸ தஸ்யாநுசிதகர்ம்மண​: ப²லம்’ லப்ஸ்யதே தத்ர கோ(அ)பி பக்ஷபாதோ ந ப⁴விஷ்யதி|

For, he that acteth unrighteously, shall get back what he had unrighteously done, and there is no respect of persons;
