1 தி²ஷலநீகிந​: 1

1 பௌல​: ஸில்வாநஸ்தீமதி²யஸ்²ச பிதுரீஸ்²வரஸ்ய ப்ரபோ⁴ ர்யீஸு²க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்ய சாஸ்²ரயம்’ ப்ராப்தா தி²ஷலநீகீயஸமிதிம்’ ப்ரதி பத்ரம்’ லிக²ந்தி| அஸ்மாகம்’ தாத ஈஸ்²வர​: ப்ரபு⁴ ர்யீஸு²க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்²ச யுஷ்மாந் ப்ரத்யநுக்³ரஹம்’ ஸா²ந்திஞ்ச க்ரியாஸ்தாம்’|

Paul and Silvanus and Timothy—unto the assembly of Thessalonians in God our Father and Lord Jesus Christ, —favour unto you, and peace!

2 வயம்’ ஸர்வ்வேஷாம்’ யுஷ்மாகம்’ க்ரு’தே ஈஸ்²வரம்’ த⁴ந்யம்’ வதா³ம​: ப்ரார்த²நாஸமயே யுஷ்மாகம்’ நாமோச்சாரயாம​: ,

We are giving thanks unto God continually, concerning you all, making, mention, in our prayers,

3 அஸ்மாகம்’ தாதஸ்யேஸ்²வரஸ்ய ஸாக்ஷாத் ப்ரபௌ⁴ யீஸு²க்²ரீஷ்டே யுஷ்மாகம்’ விஸ்²வாஸேந யத் கார்ய்யம்’ ப்ரேம்நா ய​: பரிஸ்²ரம​: ப்ரத்யாஸ²யா ச யா திதிக்ஷா ஜாயதே

Unceasingly, remembering—your work of faith and labour of love and endurance of hope, of our Lord Jesus Christ, before our God and Father:

4 தத் ஸர்வ்வம்’ நிரந்தரம்’ ஸ்மராமஸ்²ச| ஹே பியப்⁴ராதர​: , யூயம் ஈஸ்²வரேணாபி⁴ருசிதா லோகா இதி வயம்’ ஜாநீம​: |

Knowing, brethren beloved by God, your election, —

5 யதோ(அ)ஸ்மாகம்’ ஸுஸம்’வாத³​: கேவலஸ²ப்³தே³ந யுஷ்மாந் ந ப்ரவிஸ்²ய ஸ²க்த்யா பவித்ரேணாத்மநா மஹோத்ஸாஹேந ச யுஷ்மாந் ப்ராவிஸ²த்| வயந்து யுஷ்மாகம்’ க்ரு’தே யுஷ்மந்மத்⁴யே கீத்³ரு’ஸா² அப⁴வாம தத்³ யுஷ்மாபி⁴ ர்ஜ்ஞாயதே|

How that, our glad-message, came not unto you, in word only, but also in power, and in Holy Spirit, and in much assurance, —even as ye know what manner of men we became unto you, for your sake;

6 யூயமபி ப³ஹுக்லேஸ²போ⁴கே³ந பவித்ரேணாத்மநா த³த்தேநாநந்தே³ந ச வாக்யம்’ க்³ரு’ஹீத்வாஸ்மாகம்’ ப்ரபோ⁴ஸ்²சாநுகா³மிநோ(அ)ப⁴வத|

And, ye, became, imitators of us, and of the Lord, giving welcome unto the word, in much tribulation, with joy of Holy Spirit;

7 தேந மாகித³நியாகா²யாதே³ஸ²யோ ர்யாவந்தோ விஸ்²வாஸிநோ லோகா​: ஸந்தி யூயம்’ தேஷாம்’ ஸர்வ்வேஷாம்’ நித³ர்ஸ²நஸ்வரூபா ஜாதா​: |

So that ye became an ensample unto all who were coming to the faith, in Macedonia and in Achaia:

8 யதோ யுஷ்மத்த​: ப்ரதிநாதி³தயா ப்ரபோ⁴ ர்வாண்யா மாகித³நியாகா²யாதே³ஸௌ² வ்யாப்தௌ கேவலமேதந்நஹி கிந்த்வீஸ்²வரே யுஷ்மாகம்’ யோ விஸ்²வாஸஸ்தஸ்ய வார்த்தா ஸர்வ்வத்ராஸ்²ராவி, தஸ்மாத் தத்ர வாக்யகத²நம் அஸ்மாகம்’ நிஷ்ப்ரயோஜநம்’|

From you, in fact, hath sounded forth the word of the Lord—not only in Macedonia and in Achaia, but, in every place, your faith which is toward God, hath gone forth, so that, no need, have we to be saying anything;

9 யதோ யுஷ்மந்மத்⁴யே வயம்’ கீத்³ரு’ஸ²ம்’ ப்ரவேஸ²ம்’ ப்ராப்தா யூயஞ்ச கத²ம்’ ப்ரதிமா விஹாயேஸ்²வரம்’ ப்ரத்யாவர்த்தத்⁴வம் அமரம்’ ஸத்யமீஸ்²வரம்’ ஸேவிதும்’

For, they themselves, concerning us, do tell—what manner of entrance we had unto you, and how ye turned unto God from the idols—to be serving a living and true God,

10 ம்ரு’தக³ணமத்⁴யாச்ச தேநோத்தா²பிதஸ்ய புத்ரஸ்யார்த²த ஆகா³மிக்ரோதா⁴த்³ அஸ்மாகம்’ நிஸ்தாரயிது ர்யீஸோ²​: ஸ்வர்கா³த்³ ஆக³மநம்’ ப்ரதீக்ஷிதும் ஆரப⁴த்⁴வம் ஏதத் ஸர்வ்வம்’ தே லோகா​: ஸ்வயம் அஸ்மாந் ஜ்ஞாபயந்தி|

And awaiting his Son out of the heavens—whom he raised from among the dead, —Jesus: Who is to rescue us out of the anger that is coming.
