2 கரிந்தி²ந​: 5

1 அபரம் அஸ்மாகம் ஏதஸ்மிந் பார்தி²வே தூ³ஷ்யரூபே வேஸ்²மநி ஜீர்ணே ஸதீஸ்²வரேண நிர்ம்மிதம் அகரக்ரு’தம் அஸ்மாகம் அநந்தகாலஸ்தா²யி வேஸ்²மைகம்’ ஸ்வர்கே³ வித்³யத இதி வயம்’ ஜாநீம​: | (aiōnios g166)

For we know that—if, our earthly tent-dwelling, should be taken down, we have, a building of God, a dwelling not made by hand, age-abiding in the heavens. (aiōnios g166)

2 யதோ ஹேதோரேதஸ்மிந் வேஸ்²மநி திஷ்ட²ந்தோ வயம்’ தம்’ ஸ்வர்கீ³யம்’ வாஸம்’ பரிதா⁴தும் ஆகாங்க்ஷ்யமாணா நி​: ஸ்²வஸாம​: |

And verily, in this, we sigh, earnestly desiring to clothe ourselves over, with our habitation which is of heaven, —

3 ததா²பீதா³நீமபி வயம்’ தேந ந நக்³நா​: கிந்து பரிஹிதவஸநா மந்யாமஹே|

Although, indeed, even clothing ourselves, we shall not be found, naked; —

4 ஏதஸ்மிந் தூ³ஷ்யே திஷ்ட²நதோ வயம்’ க்லிஸ்²யமாநா நி​: ஸ்²வஸாம​: , யதோ வயம்’ வாஸம்’ த்யக்தும் இச்சா²மஸ்தந்நஹி கிந்து தம்’ த்³விதீயம்’ வாஸம்’ பரிதா⁴தும் இச்சா²ம​: , யதஸ்ததா² க்ரு’தே ஜீவநேந மர்த்யம்’ க்³ரஸிஷ்யதே|

And verily, we who are in the tent, do sigh, being weighed down, while yet we are not wishing to unclothe ourselves, but to clothe ourselves over, —in order that, what is mortal, may be swallowed up, by life.

5 ஏதத³ர்த²ம்’ வயம்’ யேந ஸ்ரு’ஷ்டா​: ஸ ஈஸ்²வர ஏவ ஸ சாஸ்மப்⁴யம்’ ஸத்யங்காரஸ்ய பணஸ்வரூபம் ஆத்மாநம்’ த³த்தவாந்|

Now, he that hath wrought us for this very thing, is, God, —who hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit,

6 அதஏவ வயம்’ ஸர்வ்வதோ³த்ஸுகா ப⁴வாம​: கிஞ்ச ஸ²ரீரே யாவத்³ அஸ்மாபி⁴ ர்ந்யுஷ்யதே தாவத் ப்ரபு⁴தோ தூ³ரே ப்ரோஷ்யத இதி ஜாநீம​: ,

Having good courage, therefore, at all times, and knowing that—remaining at home in the body, we are away from home from the Lord, —

7 யதோ வயம்’ த்³ரு’ஷ்டிமார்கே³ ந சராம​: கிந்து விஸ்²வாஸமார்கே³|

By faith, are we walking, not by sight; —

8 அபரஞ்ச ஸ²ரீராத்³ தூ³ரே ப்ரவஸ்தும்’ ப்ரபோ⁴​: ஸந்நிதௌ⁴ நிவஸ்துஞ்சாகாங்க்ஷ்யமாணா உத்ஸுகா ப⁴வாம​: |

We have good courage, however, and are well pleased—rather to be away from home, out of the body, and to come home, unto the Lord.

9 தஸ்மாதே³வ காரணாத்³ வயம்’ தஸ்ய ஸந்நிதௌ⁴ நிவஸந்தஸ்தஸ்மாத்³ தூ³ரே ப்ரவஸந்தோ வா தஸ்மை ரோசிதும்’ யதாமஹே|

Wherefore also we are ambitious—whether at home, or away from home, to be, well-pleasing unto him.

10 யஸ்மாத் ஸ²ரீராவஸ்தா²யாம் ஏகைகேந க்ரு’தாநாம்’ கர்ம்மணாம்’ ஸு²பா⁴ஸு²ப⁴ப²லப்ராப்தயே ஸர்வ்வைஸ்மாபி⁴​: க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்ய விசாராஸநஸம்முக² உபஸ்தா²தவ்யம்’|

For, we all, must needs be made manifest before the judgment seat of the Christ, that each one may get back the things done by means of the body, according to the things which he practised, whether good or corrupt.

11 அதஏவ ப்ரபோ⁴ ர்ப⁴யாநகத்வம்’ விஜ்ஞாய வயம்’ மநுஜாந் அநுநயாம​: கிஞ்சேஸ்²வரஸ்ய கோ³சரே ஸப்ரகாஸா² ப⁴வாம​: , யுஷ்மாகம்’ ஸம்’வேத³கோ³சரே(அ)பி ஸப்ரகாஸா² ப⁴வாம இத்யாஸ²ம்’ஸாமஹே|

Knowing, then, the fear of the Lord, we persuade, men, but, unto God, are manifest, —I hope, moreover, even in your consciences, that we are manifest:

12 அநேந வயம்’ யுஷ்மாகம்’ ஸந்நிதௌ⁴ புந​: ஸ்வாந் ப்ரஸ²ம்’ஸாம இதி நஹி கிந்து யே மநோ விநா முகை²​: ஸ்²லாக⁴ந்தே தேப்⁴ய​: ப்ரத்யுத்தரதா³நாய யூயம்’ யதா²ஸ்மாபி⁴​: ஸ்²லாகி⁴தும்’ ஸ²க்நுத² தாத்³ரு’ஸ²ம் உபாயம்’ யுஷ்மப்⁴யம்’ விதராம​: |

Not again, ourselves, do we commend unto you, but as though an occasion we were giving unto you—something to boast of, in our behalf; that ye may have something suited unto them who, in appearance, are boasting, and not in heart.

13 யதி³ வயம்’ ஹதஜ்ஞாநா ப⁴வாமஸ்தர்ஹி தத்³ ஈஸ்²வரார்த²கம்’ யதி³ ச ஸஜ்ஞாநா ப⁴வாமஸ்தர்ஹி தத்³ யுஷ்மத³ர்த²கம்’|

For, whether we have been beside ourselves, it hath been for God, or, whether we are sober-minded, it is for you.

14 வயம்’ க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்ய ப்ரேம்நா ஸமாக்ரு’ஷ்யாமஹே யத​: ஸர்வ்வேஷாம்’ விநிமயேந யத்³யேகோ ஜநோ(அ)ம்ரியத தர்ஹி தே ஸர்வ்வே ம்ரு’தா இத்யாஸ்மாபி⁴ ர்பு³த்⁴யதே|

For, the love of the Christ, constraineth us; —

15 அபரஞ்ச யே ஜீவந்தி தே யத் ஸ்வார்த²ம்’ ந ஜீவந்தி கிந்து தேஷாம்’ க்ரு’தே யோ ஜநோ ம்ரு’த​: புநருத்தா²பிதஸ்²ச தமுத்³தி³ஸ்²ய யத் ஜீவந்தி தத³ர்த²மேவ ஸ ஸர்வ்வேஷாம்’ க்ரு’தே ம்ரு’தவாந்|

Having judged this, —that, one, in behalf of all, died, hence, they all, died; and, in behalf of all, died he, —in order that, they who live, no longer for themselves, should live, but for him who, in their behalf, died and rose again.

16 அதோ ஹேதோரித​: பரம்’ கோ(அ)ப்யஸ்மாபி⁴ ர்ஜாதிதோ ந ப்ரதிஜ்ஞாதவ்ய​: | யத்³யபி பூர்வ்வம்’ க்²ரீஷ்டோ ஜாதிதோ(அ)ஸ்மாபி⁴​: ப்ரதிஜ்ஞாதஸ்ததா²பீதா³நீம்’ ஜாதித​: புந ர்ந ப்ரதிஜ்ஞாயதே|

So that, we, henceforth, know, no one, after the flesh: if we have even been gaining, after the flesh, a knowledge of Christ,

17 கேநசித் க்²ரீஷ்ட ஆஸ்²ரிதே நூதநா ஸ்ரு’ஷ்டி ர்ப⁴வதி புராதநாநி லுப்யந்தே பஸ்²ய நிகி²லாநி நவீநாநி ப⁴வந்தி|

On the contrary, now, no longer, are we gaining it. So that, if any one is in Christ, there is a new creation! the old things, have passed away, —Lo! they have become new!

18 ஸர்வ்வஞ்சைதத்³ ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய கர்ம்ம யதோ யீஸு²க்²ரீஷ்டேந ஸ ஏவாஸ்மாந் ஸ்வேந ஸார்த்³த⁴ம்’ ஸம்’ஹிதவாந் ஸந்தா⁴நஸம்ப³ந்தீ⁴யாம்’ பரிசர்ய்யாம் அஸ்மாஸு ஸமர்பிதவாம்’ஸ்²ச|

The all things, moreover, are of God, —who hath reconciled us unto himself, through Christ, and hath given, unto us, the reconciling ministry: —

19 யத​: ஈஸ்²வர​: க்²ரீஷ்டம் அதி⁴ஷ்டா²ய ஜக³தோ ஜநாநாம் ஆகா³ம்’ஸி தேஷாம் ரு’ணமிவ ந க³ணயந் ஸ்வேந ஸார்த்³த⁴ம்’ தாந் ஸம்’ஹிதவாந் ஸந்தி⁴வார்த்தாம் அஸ்மாஸு ஸமர்பிதவாம்’ஸ்²ச|

How that, God, was in Christ, reconciling, a world, unto himself, not reckoning, unto them, their offences, —and hath put, in us, the reconciling discourse.

20 அதோ வயம்’ க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்ய விநிமயேந தௌ³த்யம்’ கர்ம்ம ஸம்பாத³யாமஹே, ஈஸ்²வரஸ்²சாஸ்மாபி⁴ ர்யுஷ்மாந் யாயாச்யதே தத​: க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்ய விநிமயேந வயம்’ யுஷ்மாந் ப்ரார்த²யாமஹே யூயமீஸ்²வரேண ஸந்த⁴த்த|

In behalf of Christ, therefore, are we ambassadors, —as if God were beseeching through us: we entreat, in behalf of Christ, —be reconciled unto God!

21 யதோ வயம்’ தேந யத்³ ஈஸ்²வரீயபுண்யம்’ ப⁴வாமஸ்தத³ர்த²ம்’ பாபேந ஸஹ யஸ்ய ஜ்ஞாதேயம்’ நாஸீத் ஸ ஏவ தேநாஸ்மாகம்’ விநிமயேந பாப​: க்ரு’த​: |

Him who knew not sin, in our behalf, he made to be, sin, that we might become God’s righteousness in him.
