1 கரிந்தி²ந​: 2

1 ஹே ப்⁴ராதரோ யுஷ்மத்ஸமீபே மமாக³மநகாலே(அ)ஹம்’ வக்த்ரு’தாயா வித்³யாயா வா நைபுண்யேநேஸ்²வரஸ்ய ஸாக்ஷ்யம்’ ப்ரசாரிதவாந் தந்நஹி;

I, therefore, brethren, when I came unto you, came, not with excellency of discourse or wisdom, declaring unto you the mystery of God;

2 யதோ யீஸு²க்²ரீஷ்டம்’ தஸ்ய க்ருஸே² ஹதத்வஞ்ச விநா நாந்யத் கிமபி யுஷ்மந்மத்⁴யே ஜ்ஞாபயிதும்’ விஹிதம்’ பு³த்³த⁴வாந்|

For I had not determined to know anything among you, save Jesus Christ, —and, him, as one who had been crucified!

3 அபரஞ்சாதீவ தௌ³ர்ப்³ப³ல்யபீ⁴திகம்பயுக்தோ யுஷ்மாபி⁴​: ஸார்த்³த⁴மாஸம்’|

I, therefore in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling, came to be with you,

4 அபரம்’ யுஷ்மாகம்’ விஸ்²வாஸோ யத் மாநுஷிகஜ்ஞாநஸ்ய ப²லம்’ ந ப⁴வேத் கிந்த்வீஸ்²வரீயஸ²க்தே​: ப²லம்’ ப⁴வேத்,

And, my discourse, and what I proclaimed, were not in suasive words of wisdom, but in demonstration of Spirit and power:

5 தத³ர்த²ம்’ மம வக்த்ரு’தா மதீ³யப்ரசாரஸ்²ச மாநுஷிகஜ்ஞாநஸ்ய மது⁴ரவாக்யஸம்ப³லிதௌ நாஸ்தாம்’ கிந்த்வாத்மந​: ஸ²க்தேஸ்²ச ப்ரமாணயுக்தாவாஸ்தாம்’|

In order that, your faith, might not be in men’s wisdom, but in God’s power.

6 வயம்’ ஜ்ஞாநம்’ பா⁴ஷாமஹே தச்ச ஸித்³த⁴லோகை ர்ஜ்ஞாநமிவ மந்யதே, ததி³ஹலோகஸ்ய ஜ்ஞாநம்’ நஹி, இஹலோகஸ்ய நஸ்²வராணாம் அதி⁴பதீநாம்’ வா ஜ்ஞாநம்’ நஹி; (aiōn g165)

Wisdom, however, we do speak, among the full-grown, —wisdom, indeed, not of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are to come to nought; (aiōn g165)

7 கிந்து காலாவஸ்தா²யா​: பூர்வ்வஸ்மாத்³ யத் ஜ்ஞாநம் அஸ்மாகம்’ விப⁴வார்த²ம் ஈஸ்²வரேண நிஸ்²சித்ய ப்ரச்ச²ந்நம்’ தந்நிகூ³ட⁴ம் ஈஸ்²வரீயஜ்ஞாநம்’ ப்ரபா⁴ஷாமஹே| (aiōn g165)

But we speak, God’s, wisdom, in a sacred secret, that hidden [wisdom], which God marked out beforehand, before the ages, for our glory, — (aiōn g165)

8 இஹலோகஸ்யாதி⁴பதீநாம்’ கேநாபி தத் ஜ்ஞாநம்’ ந லப்³த⁴ம்’, லப்³தே⁴ ஸதி தே ப்ரபா⁴வவிஸி²ஷ்டம்’ ப்ரபு⁴ம்’ க்ருஸே² நாஹநிஷ்யந்| (aiōn g165)

Which, none of the rulers of this age had come to know, for, had they known, not, in that case, the Lord of the glory, would they have crucified! (aiōn g165)

9 தத்³வல்லிகி²தமாஸ்தே, நேத்ரேண க்காபி நோ த்³ரு’ஷ்டம்’ கர்ணேநாபி ச ந ஸ்²ருதம்’| மநோமத்⁴யே து கஸ்யாபி ந ப்ரவிஷ்டம்’ கதா³பி யத்| ஈஸ்²வரே ப்ரீயமாணாநாம்’ க்ரு’தே தத் தேந ஸஞ்சிதம்’|

But, even as it is written—The things which eye hath not seen, and ear hath not heard, and upon the heart of man have not come up, —whatsoever things God hath prepared for them that love him,

10 அபரமீஸ்²வர​: ஸ்வாத்மநா தத³ஸ்மாகம்’ ஸாக்ஷாத் ப்ராகாஸ²யத்; யத ஆத்மா ஸர்வ்வமேவாநுஸந்த⁴த்தே தேந சேஸ்²வரஸ்ய மர்ம்மதத்த்வமபி பு³த்⁴யதே|

Unto us, in fact, hath God revealed through the Spirit; for, the Spirit, into all things, maketh search, yea! the deep things of God.

11 மநுஜஸ்யாந்த​: ஸ்த²மாத்மாநம்’ விநா கேந மநுஜேந தஸ்ய மநுஜஸ்ய தத்த்வம்’ பு³த்⁴யதே? தத்³வதீ³ஸ்²வரஸ்யாத்மாநம்’ விநா கேநாபீஸ்²வரஸ்ய தத்த்வம்’ ந பு³த்⁴யதே|

For who of men knoweth the things of a man, —save the spirit of the man that is in him? thus, even the things of God, hath no one come to know, save the Spirit of God.

12 வயஞ்சேஹலோகஸ்யாத்மாநம்’ லப்³த⁴வந்தஸ்தந்நஹி கிந்த்வீஸ்²வரஸ்யைவாத்மாநம்’ லப்³த⁴வந்த​: , ததோ ஹேதோரீஸ்²வரேண ஸ்வப்ரஸாதா³த்³ அஸ்மப்⁴யம்’ யத்³ யத்³ த³த்தம்’ தத்ஸர்வ்வம் அஸ்மாபி⁴ ர்ஜ்ஞாதும்’ ஸ²க்யதே|

But, as for us, —not the spirit of the world, have we received, but the Spirit which is of God, —that we might know the things which, by God, have been given in favour unto us: —

13 தச்சாஸ்மாபி⁴ ர்மாநுஷிகஜ்ஞாநஸ்ய வாக்யாநி ஸி²க்ஷித்வா கத்²யத இதி நஹி கிந்த்வாத்மதோ வாக்யாநி ஸி²க்ஷித்வாத்மிகை ர்வாக்யைராத்மிகம்’ பா⁴வம்’ ப்ரகாஸ²யத்³பி⁴​: கத்²யதே|

Which we also speak—not in words taught of human wisdom, but in such as are taught of [the] Spirit, by spiritual words, spiritual things, explaining.

14 ப்ராணீ மநுஷ்ய ஈஸ்²வரீயாத்மந​: ஸி²க்ஷாம்’ ந க்³ரு’ஹ்லாதி யத ஆத்மிகவிசாரேண ஸா விசார்ய்யேதி ஹேதோ​: ஸ தாம்’ ப்ரலாபமிவ மந்யதே போ³த்³து⁴ஞ்ச ந ஸ²க்நோதி|

But, a man of the soul, doth not welcome the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness unto him, and he cannot get to know them, because, spiritually, are they examined;

15 ஆத்மிகோ மாநவ​: ஸர்வ்வாணி விசாரயதி கிந்து ஸ்வயம்’ கேநாபி ந விசார்ய்யதே|

But, the man of the spirit, on the one hand, examineth all things, but, on the other, he himself, by no one, is examined.

16 யத ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய மநோ ஜ்ஞாத்வா தமுபதே³ஷ்டும்’ க​: ஸ²க்நோதி? கிந்து க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்ய மநோ(அ)ஸ்மாபி⁴ ர்லப்³த⁴ம்’|

For who hath come to know the mind of the Lord, that shall instruct him? But, we, have, the mind of Christ.
