1 Malangga-malangga re! Hei musi mete-seꞌu ana dedꞌenu mara no matetuꞌ ma ndoo-meuꞌ. Misinedꞌa, te hei o miꞌena Lamatuaꞌ sia nusa tetuꞌ mana mete-seꞌu nggi.
Ye masters! that which is just and equitable, unto your servants, be rendering, knowing that, ye also, have a Master in heaven.
2 Hei musi manggate hule-oꞌe mikindooꞌ a. Ma medꞌa sia rala mara soꞌal dala-dalaꞌ fo hei olaꞌ mo Lamatualain, ma hule-oꞌe mo rala nemehoꞌot.
Unto prayer, be devoting yourselves, watching therein with thanksgiving:
3 Afiꞌ liliiꞌ hule-oꞌe fee hai, moꞌe fo Lamatualain soi dalaꞌ, fo hai mifadꞌe atahori dala-dalaꞌ fo maꞌahulun mana maꞌafuniꞌ soꞌal Yesus. Misinedꞌa, au sia bꞌui ia, huu au ufadꞌe atahori soꞌal Kristus.
Praying, at the same time, for us also, —that, God, would open unto us a door for the word, so that we may speak the sacred secret of the Christ—for the sake of which also I am in bonds,
4 Hule-oꞌe fo au dui-bꞌengga Hara-lii Maloleꞌ naa no matetuꞌ, fo atahori rahine no maloleꞌ.
That I may make it manifest as behoveth me to speak.
5 Misodꞌa no ndoo-tetuꞌ sia atahori nda mana feꞌe ramahere Kristus taladꞌan nara sa. Pake malolole kakaꞌeꞌ fo Lamatuaꞌ fee neu nggi.
In wisdom, be walking towards them who are without, —the opportunity, buying out for yourselves,

Your discourse being always with benefit, with salt, seasoned, —that ye may know how it behoveth you, unto each one, to be making answer.

All the things which relate unto myself, shall Tychicus make known unto you—the beloved brother and faithful minister and fellow-servant in the Lord,

Epaphras who is from among you, a servant of Christ Jesus, saluteth you, —at all times, contending in your behalf in his prayers, that ye may be caused to stand complete and fully assured in everything willed by God;

Luke, the beloved physician, and Demas, salute you.

Salute ye the brethren, in Laodicea, also Nymphas, and the assembly, which meeteth at her house.
16 Dei fo mete ma basa hei mana sia Kolose baca mala susura ia ena, na, haitua nakandoo nisiꞌ atahori mamahereꞌ sia Laodikia fo ara bisa baca boe. Ma hei o musi baca susura fo au haitua ita fee seꞌ a.
And, as soon as the epistle hath been read amongst you, cause that, in the assembly of Laodiceans also, it be read; and, that from Laodicea, that, ye also, read.
17 Fee nesenenedꞌaꞌ neu Arkipus mae, “Afiꞌ liliiꞌ mulalao mubꞌasaꞌ, ue-tataos fo simbo mia Lamatuaꞌ a.”
And say to Archippus: be taking heed unto the ministry which thou hast accepted in the Lord, —that, the same, thou fulfil.
