< 2 Timotius 1 >

1 Timotius rala maloleꞌ! Susura ia mia au, Paulus, fo Lamatualain pili nala dadꞌi Yesus Kristus dedꞌenun. Ara denu au ufadꞌe masodꞌa ndoo-tetuꞌ a, fo Lamatualain helu-fuli fee neu basa atahori mana ramahere neu Yesus Kristus. Timotius! Ho onaꞌ ana ngga ena. Dadꞌi au hule-oꞌe fo hita aman Lamatualain no hita Malanggan Yesus Kristus, sue nggo, ratudꞌu rala malole nara neu nggo, ma fee nggo musodꞌa no mole-dꞌame.
Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus, through the will of God, —according to the promise of life in Christ Jesus; —
2
Unto Timothy, my beloved child: Favour, mercy, peace, from God our Father, and Christ Jesus our Lord.
3 Hatuꞌ rerelon, au hule-oꞌe fee nggo. Au oꞌe makasi neu Lamatualain ukundondooꞌ a, huu ho tungga mukondooꞌ a neu E. Au mete-seꞌu E no rala meumareꞌ, onaꞌ hita bꞌei-baꞌi nara mete-seꞌu E boe.
Grateful, am I, unto God, —unto whom I am rendering divine service from my progenitors in a pure conscience, that, incessant, hold I the remembrance, concerning thee, in my supplications; day and night,
4 Au usunedꞌa leleꞌ hita saranggaa, ho luu mara tudꞌa. Naa de au aeꞌ a doo bee fo undaa o nggo, fo rala ngga namahoꞌo.
longing to see thee, being mindful of thy tears, —in order that, with joy, I may be filled:
5 Au o usunedꞌa leleꞌ ho mulai mumuhere tebꞌe-tebꞌeꞌ neu Lamatuaꞌ Yesus. Nemehereꞌ mataꞌ naa, naꞌoka memaꞌ sia beim Luisa, ma inam Yunike rala nara ena. Ma au o umehere ae, nemehereꞌ mataꞌ naa mori sia rala ma boe.
A reminder, having received, of the unfeigned faith, that is in thee, —such, as dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and in thy mother Eunice, —I am persuaded, moreover, that [it dwelleth], in thee also.
6 Feꞌesaꞌan, leleꞌ au lalaa lima ngga neu langgam, ma hule-oꞌe fee nggo, leleꞌ naa Lamatualain tao nggo fo bisa ue-tao fee Ne. Dadꞌi ia naa, au oꞌe fo mumbilaꞌ bꞌaliꞌ papala-babꞌanggiꞌ naa ra.
For which cause, I put thee in remembrance, to be stirring up God’s gift of favour, which is in thee through means of the laying on of my hands;
7 Te Lamatualain Dꞌula-dꞌalen nda tao hita dadꞌi atahori mamataus sa. Te Ana tao hita dadꞌi atahori maꞌadereꞌ ma tamahena aoꞌ, mana sue-laiꞌ, no tahine tauli ao tara no maloleꞌ.
For God hath not given us a spirit of cowardice, but of power, and love, and correction.
8 Dadꞌi afiꞌ mae olaꞌ soꞌal hita Malanggan.
Be not thou, therefore, put to shame—with regard to the witness of our Lord, nor with regard to me his prisoner; but suffer hardship together with the glad-message according to the power of God, —
9 Huu Lamatualain mana soi-tefa hita mia sala tara. Ma Ana here nala nggita dadꞌi atahori meumaren. Ana natudꞌu rala malolen neu hita, huu Ana sue nggita. Matetun, hita nda tao saa sa boe fo tao nggita tandaa simbo rala malolen. Lamatualain nda feꞌe tao raefafoꞌ ia sa, te Ana naꞌetuꞌ haitua Yesus Kristus nema, fo natudꞌu rala malolen, ma fee masodꞌaꞌ neu hita. Ia naa Yesus Kristus nema ena, ma tao natetu Lamatualain neꞌetun. Boe ma Ana tao nalutu mamates koasan! Ia dadꞌi Dudꞌui Maloleꞌ! De seka namahere Yesus Kristus, na nda mate sa ena, te nasodꞌa nakandoo no Lamatualain. (aiōnios g166)
Who hath saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to the peculiar purpose and favour—which was given to us in Christ Jesus before age-during times, (aiōnios g166)
But hath now been made manifest through means of the forthshining of our Saviour Christ Jesus, —Who, indeed, hath abolished death, and hath thrown light upon life and incorruptibility, through means of the glad-message:
11 Naa de Lamatualain soꞌu au dadꞌi Yesus Kristus dedꞌenun, fo ufadꞌe Dudꞌui Malolen, ma unori atahori sia bee-bꞌee.
Whereunto, I, have been appointed herald and apostle and teacher;
12 Basa naa ra tao au doidꞌoso sia bꞌui ia. Te au nda mae sa! Huu au bubꞌuluꞌ seka au umuhereꞌ a, naeni Lamatuaꞌ Yesus. Au o bubꞌuluꞌ tebꞌe ae, Eni mana tao ue-tataos ia neu lima ngga, de nanea ue-tataos ia, ma tao au bisa ulalao ue-tataos ia losa Ana baliꞌ nema.
For which cause, these things also, am I suffering; nevertheless I am not being put to shame, for I know him whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is, able, to guard, that which I have entrusted, [to him] unto, that, day.
13 Dadꞌi tungga dꞌala masodꞌaꞌ mia nenori matetuꞌ, fo au utudꞌu basa neu nggoꞌ a. Mete ma mumuhere mukundoo, ma sue basa atahori taꞌo naa, naa natudꞌu oi, ho dadꞌi esa mo Yesus Kristus ena.
An outline, have thou, of healthful discourses which from me thou hast heard—with the faith and love which are in Christ Jesus:
14 Lamatualain tao suꞌi mafelit esa sia limam, naeni nenori matetuꞌ. De muꞌubꞌoi malolole suꞌi naa, o! Moꞌe Dꞌula-dꞌale Meumareꞌ mana sia hita rala tara, fo Ana tulun naꞌabꞌoi suꞌi naa no malolole.
The noble thing entrusted [to thee], do thou guard, through means of the Holy Spirit which dwelleth within us.
15 Neꞌo ho rena ena oi, Figelus no Hermogenes, ma atahori laen mia propinsi Asia ra rasadꞌea lao hela au ena.
Thou knowest this—that all they who are in Asia have turned away from me, —of whom are Phygelus and Hermogenes.
16 Te Onesiforus manafeaꞌ. Ana nda dinggoꞌ hela au sa. Ho bubꞌuluꞌ to, feꞌesaꞌan leleꞌ au feꞌe sia kota Efesus, ana tulu-fali au nakandooꞌ a. Ia naa ana leo sia kota Roma ia ena. Leleꞌ ana losa, ana sangga au sudꞌiꞌ a sia bee-bꞌee. Basa dei de ana hambu au mia bꞌui a. Te ana nda mae sa. Ana akaꞌ nema seꞌu au nakandooꞌ a sia bꞌui ia, fo tao manggatee rala ngga. Dadꞌi au hule-oꞌe fo Lamatualain natudꞌu rala malolen neu Onesiforus no ume-isi nara. Neu fai mateꞌen, mete ma Lamatualain naꞌetuꞌ atahori ra dedꞌean, na, au umuhena fo Lamatualain naꞌetuꞌ no maloleꞌ fe neu Onesiforus se.
The Lord grant mercy unto the house, of Onesiphorus, in that, ofttimes, hath he refreshed me, and, as regardeth my chain, hath not been put to shame,
But, happening to be in Rome, he diligently sought out and found me, —
The Lord grant him to find mercy from [the] Lord in, that, day; —and, how many times, in Ephesus, he hath ministered, better art, thou, getting to know.
