1 Então Bildad, o Shuhite, respondeu,
Then Bildad the Shuhite answered,
2 “Quanto tempo você vai caçar por palavras? Considere, e depois falaremos.
"How long will you hunt for words? Consider, and afterwards we will speak.
3 Por que somos contados como animais, que se tornaram impuros à sua vista?
Why are we counted as animals, which have become unclean in your sight?
4 Você que se rasga em sua raiva, a terra será abandonada para você? Ou a rocha será removida de seu lugar?
You who tear yourself in your anger, shall the earth be forsaken for you? Or shall the rock be removed out of its place?
5 “Sim, a luz dos ímpios será apagada. A faísca de seu fogo não vai brilhar.
"Yes, the light of the wicked shall be put out, The spark of his fire shall not shine.
6 A luz será escura em sua tenda. Sua lâmpada acima dele será apagada.
The light shall be dark in his tent. His lamp above him shall be put out.
7 Os passos de sua força serão encurtados. Seu próprio conselho o abaterá.
The steps of his strength shall be shortened. His own counsel shall cast him down.
8 Pois ele é lançado em uma rede por seus próprios pés, e ele vagueia em sua malha.
For he is cast into a net by his own feet, and he wanders into its mesh.
9 Um laço o pegará pelo calcanhar. Uma armadilha vai pegá-lo.
A snare will take him by the heel. A trap will catch him.
10 Um laço está escondido para ele no chão, uma armadilha para ele no caminho.
A noose is hidden for him in the ground, a trap for him in the way.
11 Os terrores o farão ter medo de todos os lados, e o perseguirão em seus calcanhares.
Terrors shall make him afraid on every side, and shall chase him at his heels.
12 Sua força será esfomeada. A calamidade estará pronta a seu lado.
His strength shall be famished. Calamity shall be ready at his side.
13 Os membros de seu corpo serão devorados. O primogênito da morte devorará seus membros.
The members of his body shall be devoured. The firstborn of death shall devour his members.
14 Ele será retirado da segurança de sua tenda. Ele será levado ao rei dos terrores.
He shall be rooted out of his tent where he trusts. He shall be brought to the king of terrors.
15 Lá habitará em sua tenda o que não é dele. O enxofre será disperso em sua habitação.
There shall dwell in his tent that which is none of his. Sulfur shall be scattered on his habitation.
16 Suas raízes serão secas por baixo. Seu ramo será cortado acima.
His roots shall be dried up beneath. Above shall his branch be cut off.
17 Sua memória perecerá da terra. Ele não terá nome na rua.
His memory shall perish from the earth. He shall have no name in the street.
18 Ele será conduzido da luz para a escuridão, e expulsos do mundo.
He shall be driven from light into darkness, and chased out of the world.
19 Ele não terá nem filho nem neto entre seu povo, nem qualquer remanescente onde ele morava.
He shall have neither son nor grandson among his people, nor any remaining where he sojourned.
20 Aqueles que vierem depois ficarão surpresos com seu dia, como aqueles que foram antes estavam assustados.
Those who come after shall be astonished at his day, as those who went before were frightened.
21 Certamente tais são as habitações dos injustos. Este é o lugar daquele que não conhece a Deus”.
Surely such are the dwellings of the unrighteous. This is the place of him who doesn't know God."
