Lucas 6
1 E aconteceu que, no sabbado segundo-primeiro, passou pelas searas, e os seus discipulos iam arrancando espigas, e, esfregando-as com as mãos, as comiam.
Now it happened on the second chief Sabbath that he was going through the grain fields. His disciples plucked the heads of grain, and ate, rubbing them in their hands.
2 E alguns dos phariseos lhes disseram: Porque fazeis o que não é licito fazer nos sabbados?
But some of the Pharisees said to them, "Why do you do that which is not lawful on the Sabbath day?"
3 E Jesus, respondendo-lhes, disse: Nunca lêstes o que fez David quando teve fome, elle e os que com elle estavam?
Yeshua, answering them, said, "Have you not read what Dawid did when he was hungry, he, and those who were with him;
4 Como entrou na casa de Deus, e tomou os pães da proposição, e os comeu, e deu tambem aos que estavam com elle, os quaes não é licito comer senão só aos sacerdotes?
how he entered into the house of God, and took and ate the show bread, and gave also to those who were with him, which is not lawful to eat except for the priests alone?"
5 E dizia-lhes: O Filho do homem é Senhor até do sabbado.
He said to them, "The Son of Man is lord of the Sabbath."
6 E aconteceu tambem n'outro sabbado que entrou na synagoga, e estava ensinando; e estava ali um homem que tinha a mão direita mirrada.
It also happened on another Sabbath that he entered into the synagogue and taught. There was a man there, and his right hand was withered.
7 E os escribas e phariseos attentavam n'elle, se o curaria no sabbado, para acharem de que o accusar.
The scribes and the Pharisees watched him, to see whether he would heal on the Sabbath, that they might find an accusation against him.
8 Mas elle bem conhecia os seus pensamentos; e disse ao homem que tinha a mão mirrada: Levanta-te, e põe-te em pé no meio. E, levantando-se elle, poz-se em pé
But he knew their thoughts; and he said to the man who had the withered hand, "Rise up, and stand in the middle." He arose and stood.
9 Então Jesus lhes disse: Uma coisa vos hei de perguntar: É licito nos sabbados fazer bem, ou fazer mal? salvar a vida, ou matar?
Then Yeshua said to them, "I ask you, is it lawful on the Sabbath to do good, or to do harm? To save a life, or to destroy it?"
10 E, olhando para todos em redor, disse ao homem: Estende a tua mão. E elle assim o fez, e a mão lhe foi restituida sã como a outra.
He looked around at them all, and said to the man, "Stretch out your hand." He did, and his hand was restored.
11 E ficaram cheios de furor, e uns com os outros praticavam sobre o que fariam a Jesus.
But they were filled with rage, and talked with one another about what they might do to Yeshua.
12 E aconteceu que n'aquelles dias subiu ao monte a orar, e passou a noite orando a Deus.
It happened in these days, that he went out to the mountain to pray, and he continued all night in prayer to God.
13 E, quando já era dia, chamou a si os seus discipulos, e escolheu doze d'elles, a quem tambem nomeou apostolos: a saber,
When it was day, he called his disciples, and from them he chose twelve, whom he also named apostles:
14 Simão, ao qual tambem chamou Pedro, e André, seu irmão; Thiago e João; Philippe e Bartholomeo;
Shimon, whom he also named Kipha, and Andreus his brother; and Yaquv and Yukhanan; and Philipus and Bar-Tulmai;
15 E Mattheus e Thomé; Thiago, filho, d'Alfeo, e Simão, chamado o zelador;
and Mattai and Tama; and Yaquv the son of Khalphai, and Shimon, who was called the Zealot;
16 E Judas, irmão de Thiago; e Judas Iscariotes, que foi o traidor.
and Yehudah the son of Yaquv, and Yehudah Sekariuta, who became a traitor.
17 E, descendo com elles, parou n'um logar plano, e tambem uma grande turba de seus discipulos, e grande multidão de povo de toda a Judea, e de Jerusalem, e da costa maritima de Tyro e de Sidon,
He came down with them, and stood on a level place, with a large crowd of his disciples, and a great number of the people from all Yehuda and Urishlim, and the sea coast of Tsur and Tsaidan,
18 Que tinham vindo para o ouvir, e serem curados das suas enfermidades, como tambem os atormentados dos espiritos immundos: e eram curados.
who came to hear him and to be healed of their diseases; and those who were troubled with unclean spirits were cured.
19 E toda a multidão procurava tocal-o; porque sahia d'elle virtude, e curava a todos.
All the crowd sought to touch him, for power came out from him and healed them all.
20 E, levantando elle os olhos para os seus discipulos, dizia: Bemaventurados vós, os pobres, porque vosso é o reino de Deus.
He lifted up his eyes to his disciples, and said, "Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the Kingdom of God.
21 Bemaventurados vós, que agora tendes fome, porque sereis fartos. Bemaventurados vós, que agora choraes, porque haveis de rir.
Blessed are you who hunger now, for you will be filled. Blessed are you who weep now, for you will laugh.
22 Bemaventurados sereis quando os homens vos aborrecerem, e quando vos separarem, e injuriarem, e rejeitarem o vosso nome como mau, por causa do Filho do homem.
Blessed are you when people hate you, and when they exclude you and insult you, and throw out your name as evil, for the Son of Man's sake.
23 Folgae n'esse dia, exultae; porque, eis que é grande o vosso galardão no céu, porque assim faziam os seus paes aos prophetas.
Rejoice in that day, and leap for joy, for look, your reward is great in heaven, for their fathers did the same thing to the prophets.
24 Mas ai de vós, ricos! porque já tendes a vossa consolação.
"But woe to you who are rich. For you have received your consolation.
25 Ai de vós, que estaes fartos! porque tereis fome. Ai de vós, que agora rides, porque lamentareis e chorareis.
Woe to you, you who are full now, for you will be hungry. Woe who laugh now, for you will mourn and weep.
26 Ai de vós quando todos os homens de vós disserem bem, porque assim faziam seus paes aos falsos prophetas.
Woe when all people speak well of you, for their fathers did the same thing to the false prophets.
27 Mas a vós, que ouvis isto, digo: Amae a vossos inimigos, fazei bem aos que vos aborrecem;
"But I tell you who hear: love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,
28 Bemdizei os que vos maldizem, e orae pelos que vos calumniam.
bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you.
29 Ao que te ferir n'uma face, offerece-lhe tambem a outra; e, ao que te houver tirado a capa, nem a tunica recuses;
To the person who strikes you on the cheek, offer the other also; and from the person who takes away your coat, do not withhold your shirt either.
30 E dá a qualquer que te pedir; e, ao que tomar o que é teu, não lh'o tornes a pedir.
Give to everyone who asks you, and do not ask him who takes away your goods to give them back again.
31 E, como vós quereis que os homens vos façam, tambem da mesma maneira lhes fazei vós.
And as you would like people to do to you, you also do the same to them.
32 E, se amardes aos que vos amam, que recompensa tereis? Porque tambem os peccadores amam aos que os amam.
If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them.
33 E, se fizerdes bem aos que vos fazem bem, que recompensa tereis? Porque tambem os peccadores fazem o mesmo.
If you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same.
34 E, se emprestardes áquelles de quem esperaes tornar a receber, que recompensa tereis? Porque tambem os peccadores emprestam aos peccadores, para tornarem a receber outro tanto.
If you lend to those from whom you hope to receive, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners, to receive back as much.
35 Amae pois a vossos inimigos, e fazei bem, e emprestae, sem nada esperardes, e será grande o vosso galardão, e sereis filhos do Altissimo; porque é benigno até para com os ingratos e máus.
But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing back; and your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High; for he is kind toward the unthankful and evil.
36 Sêde pois misericordiosos, como tambem vosso Pae é misericordioso.
Therefore be merciful, even as your Father is also merciful.
37 Não julgueis, e não sereis julgados: não condemneis, e não sereis condemnados: soltae, e soltar-vos-hão.
Do not judge, and you won't be judged. Do not condemn, and you won't be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.
38 Dae, e ser-vos-ha dado; boa medida, recalcada, sacudida e trasbordando, vos deitarão no vosso regaço; porque com a mesma medida com que medirdes vos tornarão a medir.
"Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the same measure you measure it will be measured back to you."
39 E dizia-lhes uma parabola: Pode porventura o cego guiar o cego? não cairão ambos na cova?
He spoke a parable to them. "Can the blind guide the blind? Won't they both fall into a pit?
40 O discipulo não é sobre o seu mestre, mas todo o que fôr perfeito será como o seu mestre.
A disciple is not above the teacher, but everyone when he is fully trained will be like his teacher.
41 E porque attentas tu no argueiro que está no olho de teu irmão, e não reparas na trave que está no teu proprio olho?
And why do you see the speck of chaff that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?
42 Ou como podes dizer a teu irmão: Irmão, deixa-me tirar o argueiro que está no teu olho; não attentando tu mesmo na trave que está no teu olho? Hypocrita, tira primeiro a trave do teu olho, e então verás bem para tirar o argueiro que está no olho de teu irmão.
Or how can you tell your brother, 'Brother, let me remove the speck of chaff that is in your eye,' when you yourself do not see the log that is in your own eye? You hypocrite. First remove the log from your own eye, and then you can see clearly to remove the speck of chaff that is in your brother's eye.
43 Porque não ha boa arvore que dê máu fructo, nem má arvore que dê bom fructo.
For there is no good tree that brings forth rotten fruit; nor again a rotten tree that brings forth good fruit.
44 Porque cada arvore se conhece pelo seu proprio fructo; pois não se colhem figos dos espinheiros, nem se vindimam uvas dos abrolhos.
For each tree is known by its own fruit. For people do not gather figs from thorns, nor do they gather grapes from a bramble bush.
45 O homem bom do bom thesouro do seu coração tira o bem, e o homem mau do mau thesouro do seu coração tira o mal, porque da abundancia do seu coração falla a bocca
The good person out of the good treasure of his heart brings out that which is good, and the evil person out of the evil treasure brings out that which is evil, for out of the abundance of the heart, his mouth speaks.
46 E porque me chamaes, Senhor, Senhor, e não fazeis o que eu digo?
"Why do you call me, 'Lord, Lord,' and do not do the things which I say?
47 Qualquer que vem para mim e ouve as minhas palavras, e as observa, eu vos mostrarei a quem é similhante:
Everyone who comes to me, and hears my words, and does them, I will show you who he is like.
48 É similhante ao homem que edificou uma casa, e cavou, e abriu bem fundo, e poz os alicerces sobre rocha, e, vindo a enchente, bateu com impeto a corrente n'aquella casa, e não a poude abalar, porque estava fundada sobre rocha.
He is like someone building a house, who dug and went deep, and laid a foundation on the rock. When a flood arose, the stream broke against that house, and could not shake it, because it had been well built.
49 Mas o que ouve e não obra é similhante ao homem que edificou uma casa sobre terra, sem alicerces, na qual bateu com impeto a corrente, e logo caiu; e foi grande a queda d'aquella casa.
But he who hears, and does not do, is like someone who built a house on the earth without a foundation, against which the stream broke, and immediately it fell, and the ruin of that house was great."
