۱ 1 دعای موسی مرد خدا ای خداوند مسکن ما تو بوده‌ای، درجمیع نسل‌ها،

A prayer of Moses [the] man of God O Lord a dwelling place you you have been of us in a generation and a generation.

۲ 2 قبل از آنکه کوهها به وجود آید و زمین ربع مسکون را بیافرینی. از ازل تا به ابد تو خدا هستی.

Before - mountains they were born and you brought forth [the] earth and [the] world and from antiquity until perpetuity you [are] God.

۳ 3 انسان را به غباربرمی گردانی، و می‌گویی‌ای بنی آدم رجوع نمایید.

You return humankind to crushed matter and you said return O children of humankind.

۴ 4 زیرا که هزار سال در نظر تو مثل دیروزاست که گذشته باشد و مثل پاسی از شب.

For a thousand years in eyes your [are] like a day of yesterday that it passes and a watch in the night.

۵ 5 مثل سیلاب ایشان را رفته‌ای و مثل خواب شده‌اند. بامدادان مثل گیاهی که می‌روید.

You flood them sleep they are in the morning like grass [which] it sprouts up.

۶ 6 بامدادان می‌شکفد و می‌روید. شامگاهان بریده و پژمرده می‌شود.

In the morning it flourishes and it sprouts up to the evening it withers and it dries up.

۷ 7 زیرا که در غضب تو کاهیده می‌شویم ودر خشم تو پریشان می‌گردیم.

For we come to an end in anger your and by rage your we are terrified.

۸ 8 چونکه گناهان مارا در نظر خود گذارده‌ای و خفایای ما را در نورروی خویش.

(You set *Qk) iniquities our to before you concealed [sins] our to [the] light of face your.

۹ 9 زیرا که تمام روزهای ما در خشم تو سپری شد و سالهای خود را مثل خیالی بسر برده‌ایم.

For all days our they turn in fury your we finish years our like a sigh.

۱۰ 10 ایام عمر ما هفتاد سال است و اگر ازبنیه، هشتاد سال باشد. لیکن فخر آنها محنت وبطالت است زیرا به زودی تمام شده، پروازمی کنیم.

[the] days of Years our in them [are] seventy year[s] and if by strength - eighty year[s] and pride their [is] toil and trouble for it passes away quickly and we flew away!

۱۱ 11 کیست که شدت خشم تو را می‌داند وغضب تو را چنانکه از تو می‌باید ترسید.

Who? [is] knowing [the] strength of anger your and [is] like fear your fury your.

۱۲ 12 ما را تعلیم ده تا ایام خود را بشماریم تا دل خردمندی را حاصل نماییم.

To count days our thus teach [us] so we may bring a heart of wisdom.

۱۳ 13 رجوع کن‌ای خداوند تا به کی و بر بندگان خود شفقت فرما.

Return! O Yahweh until when? and have compassion on servants your.

۱۴ 14 صبحگاهان ما را از رحمت خود سیر کن تاتمامی عمر خود ترنم و شادی نماییم.

Satisfy us in the morning covenant loyalty your so let us shout for joy and let us rejoice in all days our.

۱۵ 15 ما راشادمان گردان به عوض ایامی که ما را مبتلاساختی و سالهایی که بدی را دیده‌ایم.

Make rejoice us according to [the] days [which] you afflicted us [the] years [which] we saw trouble.

۱۶ 16 اعمال تو بر بندگانت ظاهر بشود و کبریایی تو بر فرزندان ایشان.

May it appear to servants your deed[s] your and majesty your to children their.

۱۷ 17 جمال خداوند خدای ما بر ما باد وعمل دستهای ما را بر ما استوار ساز. عمل دستهای ما را استوار گردان.

And let it be - [the] kindness of [the] Lord God our towards us and [the] work of hands our establish! on us and [the] work of hands our establish it.
