ایّوب 1
| در زمین عوص، مردی بود که ایوب نام داشت و آن مرد کامل و راست و خداترس بود و از بدی اجتناب می‌نمود. | ۱ 1 |
A man he was in [the] land of Uz [was] Job name his and he was - the man that blameless and upright and fearing God and turning aside from evil.
| و برای او، هفت پسر و سه دختر زاییده شدند. | ۲ 2 |
And they were born to him seven sons and three daughters.
| و اموال او هفت هزار گوسفند و سه هزار شتر و پانصد جفت گاو وپانصد الاغ ماده بود و نوکران بسیار کثیر داشت وآن مرد از تمامی بنی مشرق بزرگتر بود. | ۳ 3 |
And it was livestock his seven thousand sheep and three thousand camels and five hundred pair[s] of ox[en] and five hundred female donkeys and service much very and he was the man that great more than all [the] people of [the] east.
| و پسرانش می‌رفتند و در خانه هر یکی ازایشان، در روزش مهمانی می‌کردند و فرستاده، سه خواهر خود را دعوت می‌نمودند تا با ایشان اکل و شرب بنمایند. | ۴ 4 |
And they went sons his and they made a feast [the] house of each one day his and they sent and they invited [the] three (sisters their *Qk) to eat and to drink with them.
| و واقع می‌شد که چون دوره روزهای مهمانی‌ایشان بسر می‌رفت، ایوب فرستاده، ایشان را تقدیس می‌نمود و بامدادان برخاسته، قربانی های سوختنی، به شماره همه ایشان می‌گذرانید، زیرا ایوب می‌گفت: «شایدپسران من گناه کرده، خدا را در دل خود ترک نموده باشند» و ایوب همیشه چنین می‌کرد. | ۵ 5 |
And it was that they had gone round [the] days of the feast and he sent Job and he sanctified them and he rose early in the morning and he offered up burnt offerings [the] number of all of them for he said Job perhaps they have sinned children my and they have blessed God in heart their thus he did Job all the days.
| و روزی واقع شد که پسران خدا آمدند تا به حضور خداوند حاضر شوند و شیطان نیز در میان ایشان آمد. | ۶ 6 |
And it was the day and they came [the] sons of God to present themselves on Yahweh and he came also the adversary in midst of them.
| و خداوند به شیطان گفت: «از کجاآمدی؟» شیطان در جواب خداوند گفت: «ازتردد کردن در زمین و سیر کردن در آن.» | ۷ 7 |
And he said Yahweh to the adversary from where? are you coming and he answered the adversary Yahweh and he said from roving about on the earth and from going about on it.
| خداوندبه شیطان گفت: «آیا در بنده من ایوب تفکر کردی که مثل او در زمین نیست؟ مرد کامل وراست و خداترس که از گناه اجتناب می‌کند.» | ۸ 8 |
And he said Yahweh to the adversary ¿ have you set heart your on servant my Job for there not [is] like him on the earth a man blameless and upright fearing God and [who] turns aside from evil.
| شیطان در جواب خداوند گفت: «آیا ایوب مجان از خدا می‌ترسد؟ | ۹ 9 |
And he answered the adversary Yahweh and he said ¿ in vain has he feared Job God.
| آیا تو گرد او و گردخانه او و گرد همه اموال او، به هر طرف حصارنکشیدی و اعمال دست او را برکت ندادی ومواشی او در زمین منتشر نشد؟ | ۱۰ 10 |
¿ Not (you *QK) have you put a hedge behind him and behind house his and behind all that [belongs] to him from round about [the] work of hands his you have blessed and livestock his it has spread out in the land.
| لیکن الان دست خود را دراز کن و تمامی مایملک او رالمس نما و پیش روی تو، تو را ترک خواهدنمود.» | ۱۱ 11 |
And but stretch out please hand your and touch all that [belongs] to him if not on face your he will bless you.
| خداوند به شیطان گفت: «اینک همه اموالش در دست تو است، لیکن دستت را بر خوداو دراز مکن.» پس شیطان از حضور خداوندبیرون رفت. | ۱۲ 12 |
And he said Yahweh to the adversary there! all that [belongs] to him [is] in hand your only against him may not you stretch out hand your and he went out the adversary from with [the] presence of Yahweh.
| و روزی واقع شد که پسران و دخترانش درخانه برادر بزرگ خود می‌خوردند و شراب می‌نوشیدند. | ۱۳ 13 |
And it was the day and sons his and daughters his [were] eating and drinking wine in [the] house of brother their the firstborn.
| و رسولی نزد ایوب آمده، گفت: «گاوان شیار می‌کردند و ماده الاغان نزد آنهامی چریدند. | ۱۴ 14 |
And a messenger he came to Job and he said the ox[en] they were plowing and the female donkeys [were] grazing on hands their.
| و سابیان بر آنها حمله آورده، بردند و جوانان را به دم شمشیر کشتند و من به تنهایی رهایی یافتم تا تو را خبر دهم.» | ۱۵ 15 |
And it fell Sabean[s] and it took them and the servants they struck to [the] mouth of [the] sword and I have escaped! only I to alone me to tell to you.
| و اوهنوز سخن می‌گفت که دیگری آمده، گفت: «آتش خدا از آسمان افتاد و گله و جوانان راسوزانیده، آنها را هلاک ساخت و من به تنهایی رهایی یافتم تا تو را خبر دهم.» | ۱۶ 16 |
Still - this [one] [was] speaking and this [one] he came and he said [the] fire of God it fell from the heavens and it burned the sheep and the servants and it consumed them and I have escaped! only I to alone me to tell to you.
| و او هنوزسخن می‌گفت که دیگری آمده، گفت: «کلدانیان سه فرقه شدند و بر شتران هجوم آورده، آنها را بردند و جوانان را به دم شمشیر کشتند و من به تنهایی رهایی یافتم تا تو را خبر دهم.» | ۱۷ 17 |
Still - this [one] [was] speaking and this [one] he came and he said [the] Chaldeans they formed - three companies and they made a raid on the camels and they took them and the servants they struck to [the] mouth of [the] sword and I have escaped! only I to alone me to tell to you.
| و اوهنوز سخن می‌گفت که دیگری آمده، گفت: «پسران و دخترانت در خانه برادر بزرگ خودمی خوردند و شراب می‌نوشیدند | ۱۸ 18 |
Until this [one] [was] speaking and this [one] he came and he said sons your and daughters your [were] eating and drinking wine in [the] house of brother their the firstborn.
| که اینک بادشدیدی از طرف بیابان آمده، چهار گوشه خانه رازد و بر جوانان افتاد که مردند و من به تنهایی رهایی یافتم تا تو را خبر دهم.» | ۱۹ 19 |
And there! a wind great it came - from [the] other side of the wilderness and it touched [the] four [the] corners of the house and it fell on the youths and they died and I have escaped! only I to alone me to tell to you.
| آنگاه ایوب برخاسته، جامه خود را درید وسر خود را تراشید و به زمین افتاده، سجده کرد | ۲۰ 20 |
And he arose Job and he tore robe his and he shaved head his and he fell [the] earth towards and he bowed down.
| و گفت: «برهنه از رحم مادر خود بیرون آمدم وبرهنه به آنجا خواهم برگشت؛ خداوند داد وخداوند گرفت و نام خداوند متبارک باد.» | ۲۱ 21 |
And he said naked (I came out *Qk) from [the] womb of mother my and naked I will return there towards Yahweh he gave and Yahweh he has taken may it be [the] name of Yahweh blessed.
| دراین همه، ایوب گناه نکرد و به خدا جهالت نسبت نداد. | ۲۲ 22 |
In all this not he sinned Job and not he ascribe unseemliness to God.
