مزامیر 64

۱ 1 برای سالار مغنیان. مزمور داود ای خدا وقتی که تضرع می‌نمایم، آوازمرا بشنو و حیاتم را از خوف دشمن نگاه دار!

To him that excelleth. A Psalme of David. Heare my voyce, O God, in my prayer: preserue my life from feare of the enemie.

۲ 2 مرا از مشاورت شریران پنهان کن و ازهنگامه گناهکاران.

Hide me from the conspiracie of the wicked, and from the rage of the workers of iniquitie.

۳ 3 که زبان خود را مثل شمشیرتیز کرده‌اند و تیرهای خود یعنی سخنان تلخ را برزه آراسته‌اند.

Which haue whette their tongue like a sword, and shot for their arrowes bitter wordes.

۴ 4 تا در کمینهای خود بر مرد کامل بیندازند. ناگهان بر او می‌اندازند و نمی ترسند.

To shoote at the vpright in secrete: they shoote at him suddenly, and feare not.

۵ 5 خویشتن را برای کار زشت تقویت می‌دهند. درباره پنهان کردن دامها گفتگو می‌کنند. می‌گویند: «کیست که ما را ببیند؟»

They encourage themselues in a wicked purpose: they commune together to lay snares priuilie, and say, Who shall see them?

۶ 6 کارهای بد راتدبیر می‌کنند و می‌گویند: «تدبیر نیکو کرده‌ایم.» و اندرون و قلب هر یک از ایشان عمیق است.

They haue sought out iniquities, and haue accomplished that which they sought out, euen euery one his secret thoughtes, and the depth of his heart.

۷ 7 اما خدا تیرها بر ایشان خواهد انداخت. وناگهان جراحت های ایشان خواهد شد.

But God will shoote an arrowe at them suddenly: their strokes shalbe at once.

۸ 8 وزبانهای خود را برخود فرود خواهند‌آورد و هرکه ایشان را بیند فرار خواهد کرد.

They shall cause their owne tongue to fall vpon them: and whosoeuer shall see them, shall flee away.

۹ 9 و جمیع آدمیان خواهند ترسید و کار خدا را اعلام خواهند کرد و عمل او را درک خواهند نمود.

And all men shall see it, and declare the worke of God, and they shall vnderstand, what he hath wrought.

۱۰ 10 ومرد صالح در خداوند شادی می‌کند و بر اوتوکل می‌دارد و جمیع راست دلان، فخر خواهندنمود.

But the righteous shall be glad in the Lord, and trust in him: and all that are vpright of heart, shall reioyce.
