| برای سالار مغنیان. قصیده بنی قورح چنانکه آهو برای نهرهای آب شدت اشتیاق دارد، همچنان‌ای خدا جان من اشتیاق شدید برای تو دارد. | ۱ 1 |
To the choirmaster a poem of [the] sons of Korah. Like a deer [which] it pants towards channels of water so being my it pants to you O God.
| جان من تشنه خداست تشنه خدای حی، که کی بیایم و به حضور خدا حاضر شوم. | ۲ 2 |
It thirsts being my - for God for [the] God living when? will I go and I may appear? [the] presence of God.
| اشکهایم روز و شب نان من می‌بود، چون تمامی روز مرا می‌گفتند: «خدای تو کجاست؟» | ۳ 3 |
It has been of me tear[s] my food by day and night when say to me all the day where? [is] God your.
| چون این را بیاد می‌آورم جان خود را بر خود می‌ریزم. چگونه با جماعت می‌رفتم و ایشان را به خانه خدا پیشروی می‌کردم، به آواز ترنم و تسبیح در گروه عیدکنندگان. | ۴ 4 |
These [things] I will remember - and I will pour out on myself - soul my that I passed on - with the crowd I led them to [the] house of God with [the] sound of a shout of joy and thanksgiving a multitude celebrating a festival.
| ای جانم چرا منحنی شده‌ای و چرا درمن پریشان گشته‌ای؟ بر خدا امید دار زیرا که او رابرای نجات روی او باز حمد خواهم گفت. | ۵ 5 |
Why? are you bowed down - O soul my and were you in turmoil? on me wait for God for again I will give thanks to him [the] salvation of presence his.
| ای خدای من، جانم در من منحنی شد. بنابراین تو را از زمین اردن یاد خواهم کرد، ازکوههای حرمون و از جبل مصغر. | ۶ 6 |

| لجه به لجه ندا می‌دهد از آواز آبشارهای تو جمیع خیزابها وموجهای تو بر من گذشته است. | ۷ 7 |

| در روز خداوندرحمت خود را خواهد فرمود. و در شب سرود اوبا من خواهد بود و دعا نزد خدای حیات من. | ۸ 8 |

| به خدا گفته‌ام: «ای صخره من چرا مرا فراموش کرده‌ای؟» چرا به‌سبب ظلم دشمن ماتم‌کنان ترددبکنم؟ | ۹ 9 |

| دشمنانم به کوبیدگی در استخوانهایم مرا ملامت می‌کنند، چونکه همه روزه مرامی گویند: «خدای تو کجاست؟» | ۱۰ 10 |

| ای جان من چرا منحنی شده و چرا در من پریشان گشته‌ای؟ بر خدا امید دار زیرا که او را باز حمد خواهم گفت، که نجات روی من و خدای من است. | ۱۱ 11 |
