مزامیر 27

۱ 1 مزمور داود خداوند نور من و نجات من است از که بترسم؟ خداوند ملجای جان من است از که هراسان شوم؟

David’s. Yahweh, is my light and my salvation, Of whom shall I be afraid? Yahweh, is the refuge of my life, Of whom shall I be in dread?

۲ 2 چون شریران بر من نزدیک آمدند تا گوشت مرا بخورند، یعنی خصمان ودشمنانم، ایشان لغزیدند و افتادند.

When there drew near against me evil-doers to devour my flesh, mine adversaries, and mine enemies—mine!—they, stumbled and fell!

۳ 3 اگر لشکری بر فرود آید دلم نخواهد ترسید. اگر جنگ بر من برپا شود، در این نیز اطمینان خواهم داشت.

Though there pitch against me—a camp, my heart shall not fear, —Though there come up against me—a battle, still, am I confident.

۴ 4 یک چیز از خداوند خواستم و آن را خواهم طلبید: که تمام ایام عمرم در خانه خداوند ساکن باشم تاجمال خداوند را مشاهده کنم و در هیکل او تفکرنمایم.

One thing, have I asked of Yahweh, That, will I seek to secure, —That I may dwell in the house of Yahweh, all the days of my life, To view the delightfulness of Yahweh, And to contemplate in his temple.

۵ 5 زیرا که در روز بلا مرا در سایبان خودنهفته، در پرده خیمه خود مرا مخفی خواهدداشت و مرا بر صخره بلند خواهد ساخت.

For he will hide me in his pavilion, in the day of calamity, —He will conceal me, in the secrecy of his tent, Within a rock, will he set me on high.

۶ 6 والان سرم بر دشمنانم گرداگردم برافراشته خواهدشد. قربانی های شادکامی را در خیمه او خواهم گذرانید و برای خداوند سرود و تسبیح خواهم خواند.

Now, therefore, shall my head be raised high above my foes round about me, and I will sacrifice in his tent the sacrifices of triumphant joy, I will sing and touch the strings, to Yahweh.

۷ 7 ‌ای خداوند چون به آواز خود می‌خوانم مرابشنو و رحمت فرموده، مرا مستجاب فرما.

Hear, O Yahweh, With my voice, do I cry, Oh then show me favour and answer me.

۸ 8 دل من به تو می‌گوید (که گفته‌ای ): «روی مرا بطلبید.» بلی روی تو را‌ای خداوند خواهم طلبید.

To thee, said my heart—[When thou saidst] Seek ye my face—Thy face, O Yahweh, will I seek!

۹ 9 روی خود را از من مپوشان و بنده خود را در خشم برمگردان. تو مددکار من بوده‌ای. ای خدای نجاتم، مرا رد مکن و ترک منما.

Do not hide thy face from me, Do not repulse, in thine anger, thine own servant, —My help, thou hast been, Do not send me away nor forsake me, O my saving God!

۱۰ 10 چون پدر ومادرم مرا ترک کنند، آنگاه خداوند مرا برمی دارد.

When, my own father and mother, had forsaken me, Then, Yahweh, took me up!

۱۱ 11 ‌ای خداوند طریق خود را به من بیاموز و به‌سبب دشمنانم مرا به راه راست هدایت فرما.

Point out to me, O Yahweh, thy way, —And guide me in a level path, because of mine adversaries.

۱۲ 12 مرا به خواهش خصمانم مسپار، زیرا که شهودکذبه و دمندگان ظلم بر من برخاسته‌اند.

Do not give me up unto the desire of mine adversaries, for there have risen up against me witnesses that are false, and he that fanneth up violence.

۱۳ 13 اگرباور نمی کردم که احسان خداوند را در زمین زندگان ببینم.

I believe that I shall see—The goodness of Yahweh in the land of the living,

۱۴ 14 برای خداوند منتظر باش و قوی شو و دلت را تقویت خواهد داد. بلی منتظرخداوند باش.

Wait thou for Yahweh, —Be strong, and let thy heart be bold, Wait, then, for Yahweh!
