ارمیا 16
| و کلام خداوند بر من نازل شده، گفت: | ۱ 1 |
And the word of Yahweh came unto me saying:
| «برای خود زنی مگیر و تو را در این مکان پسران و دختران نباشد. | ۲ 2 |
Thou shall not take to thee a wife, —Neither shalt thou have sons or daughters, in this place.
| زیرا خداونددرباره پسران و دخترانی که در این مکان مولودشوند و درباره مادرانی که ایشان را بزایند وپدرانی که ایشان را در این زمین تولید نمایند چنین می‌گوید: | ۳ 3 |
For, Thus, saith Yahweh, Concerning the sons and concerning the daughters that are being born in this place, —and concerning their mothers who do bear them, and concerning their fathers who do beget them, in this land,
| به بیماریهای مهلک خواهند مرد. برای ایشان ماتم نخواهند گرفت و دفن نخواهندشد بلکه بر روی زمین سرگین خواهند بود. و به شمشیر و قحط تباه خواهند شد و لاشهای ایشان غذای مرغان هوا و وحوش زمین خواهد بود. | ۴ 4 |
Of deaths from diseases, shall they die, They shall not be lamented, Neither shall they be buried, As heaps of dung on the face of the ground, shall they serve, —Yea by sword and by famine, shall they be consumed, And, their dead bodies shall become, food—To the bird of the heavens, and To the beast of the earth.
| زیرا خداوند چنین می‌گوید: به خانه نوحه گری داخل مشو و برای ماتم گرفتن نرو و برای ایشان تعزیت منما زیرا خداوند می‌گوید که سلامتی خود یعنی احسان و مراحم خویش را از این قوم خواهم برداشت. | ۵ 5 |
For, Thus, saith Yahweh—Do not thou enter into the house of crying, Neither do thou go to lament, nor do thou bemoan for them, —For I have withdrawn my blessing from this people, Declareth Yahweh, Both lovingkindness and compassion.
| هم بزرگ و هم کوچک در این زمین خواهند مرد و دفن نخواهند شد. و برای ایشان ماتم نخواهند گرفت و خویشتن را مجروح نخواهند ساخت و موی خود را نخواهند تراشید. | ۶ 6 |
So shall great and small die in this land, They shall not be buried, —Neither shall men lament for them Nor cut themselves, Nor make themselves bald for them;
| و برای ماتم گری نان را پاره نخواهند کرد تاایشان را برای مردگان تعزیت نمایند و کاسه تعزیت را با ایشان برای پدر یا مادر ایشان هم نخواهند نوشید. | ۷ 7 |
Neither shall they break bread to them in mourning To console one over his dead, —Nor cause them to drink the cup of consolation, Over one’s father Or over one’s mother;
| و تو به خانه بزم داخل مشو و باایشان برای اکل و شرب منشین. | ۸ 8 |
And the house of banqueting, shall thou not enter To sit with them, To eat and to drink.
| زیرا که یهوه صبایوت خدای اسرائیل چنین می‌گوید: اینک من در ایام شما و در نظر شما آواز خوشی و آوازشادمانی و آواز داماد و آواز عروس را از این مکان خواهم برداشت. | ۹ 9 |
For, Thus, saith Yahweh of hosts, God of Israel, Behold me! causing to cease out of this place, Before your eyes, And in your days, The voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, The voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride,
| و هنگامی که همه این سخنان را به این قوم بیان کنی و ایشان از توبپرسند که خداوند از چه سبب تمامی این بلای عظیم را به ضد ما گفته است و عصیان و گناهی که به یهوه خدای خود ورزیده‌ایم چیست؟ | ۱۰ 10 |
And it shall be when thou shalt declare to this people, all these words, —and they shall say unto thee—For what reason, hath Yahweh pronounced against us all this great calamity? Or what is our iniquity, or what our sin, which we have sinned against Yahweh our God?
| آنگاه تو به ایشان بگو: خداوند می‌گوید: از این جهت که پدران شما مرا ترک کردند و خدایان غیر را پیروی نموده، آنها راعبادت و سجده نمودند و مرا ترک کرده، شریعت مرا نگاه نداشتند. | ۱۱ 11 |
Then shalt thou say unto them, —For that your fathers forsook, me, Declareth Yahweh, And walked after other gods, and served them, and bowed down to them, —Whereas me, they forsook And my law, kept they not;
| و شما ازپدران خویش زیاده شرارت ورزیدید چونکه هریک از شما سرکشی دل شریر خود را پیروی نمودید و به من گوش نگرفتید. | ۱۲ 12 |
And, ye, have done more wickedly than your fathers, —for look at you! walking every man after the stubbornness of his wicked heart, so as not to hearken unto me,
| بنابراین من شمارا از این زمین به زمینی که شما و پدران شماندانسته‌اید خواهم‌انداخت و در آنجا شبانه‌روزخدایان غیر را عبادت خواهید نمود زیرا که من برشما ترحم نخواهم نمود. | ۱۳ 13 |
Therefore will I hurl you forth, from off this land, unto a land which ye have not known, ye, nor your fathers, —and ye can serve there other gods day and night, in that I will grant you no favour.
| «بنابراین خداوند می‌گوید: اینک ایامی می‌آید که بار دیگر گفته نخواهد شد قسم به حیات یهوه که بنی‌اسرائیل را از زمین مصر بیرون آورد. | ۱۴ 14 |
Therefore lo! days are coming, Declareth Yahweh, When it shall be said no more By the life of Yahweh, who brought up the sons of Israel out of the land of Egypt; but—
| بلکه قسم به حیات یهوه که بنی‌اسرائیل را از زمین شمال و همه زمینهایی که ایشان را به آنها رانده بود برآورد. زیرا من ایشان را به زمینی که به پدران ایشان داده‌ام باز خواهم آورد. | ۱۵ 15 |
By the life of Yahweh, who hath brought up the sons of Israel out of the land of the North, and out of all the lands whither he had driven them, —So will I bring them back upon their own soil, which I gave to their fathers.
| خداوند می‌گوید: اینک ماهی گیران بسیار راخواهم فرستاد تا ایشان را صید نمایند و بعد از آن صیادان بسیار را خواهم فرستاد تا ایشان را از هرکوه و هر تل و از سوراخهای صخره‌ها شکارکنند. | ۱۶ 16 |
Behold me! sending for many fishers Declareth Yahweh, And they shall catch them, —and thereafter will I send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from off every mountain and from off every hill, and out of the clefts of the crags.
| زیرا چشمانم بر همه راههای ایشان است و آنها از نظر من پنهان نیست و عصیان ایشان از چشمان من مخفی نی. | ۱۷ 17 |
For mine own eyes are upon all their ways, they have not been hid from my face—neither hath their iniquity been concealed from being straight before mine eyes.
| و من اول عصیان وگناهان ایشان را مکافات مضاعف خواهم رسانیدچونکه زمین مرا به لاشهای رجاسات خود ملوث نموده و میراث مرا به مکروهات خویش مملوساخته‌اند.» | ۱۸ 18 |
Thus will I recompense, first, twofold, their iniquity and their sin, because of their profaning my land, —with the carcase of their disgusting and detestable things, have they filled mine inheritance.
| ای خداوند که قوت من و قلعه من و در روزتنگی پناهگاه من هستی! امت‌ها از کرانهای زمین نزد تو آمده، خواهند گفت: پدران ما جز دروغ واباطیل و چیزهایی را که فایده نداشت وارث هیچ نشدند. | ۱۹ 19 |
O Yahweh, my strength, and my refuge, and my place to fly to, in the day of distress, —Unto thee, shall nations come in, out of the ends of the earth, that they may say—Surely! Falsehood, did our fathers inherit, Vanity, among whom is none that can profit:
| آیا می‌شود که انسان برای خودخدایان بسازد و حال آنکه آنها خدا نیستند؟ | ۲۰ 20 |
Shall a son of earth, make for himself gods, Seeing that, they, are no-gods?
| «بنابراین هان این مرتبه ایشان را عارف خواهم گردانید بلی دست خود و جبروت خویش را معروف ایشان خواهم ساخت وخواهند دانست که اسم من یهوه است.» | ۲۱ 21 |
Therefore behold me! causing them to know, by this stroke, I will cause them to know my hand and my might, —That they may know that my name, is Yahweh!
