| اما الان‌ای بنده من یعقوب بشنو و‌ای اسرائیل که تو را برگزیده‌ام! | ۱ 1 |
Now, then—hear, O Jacob, my Servant, —and Israel whom I have chosen:
| خداوندکه تو را آفریده و تو را از رحم بسرشت و معاون تو می‌باشد چنین می‌گوید: ای بنده من یعقوب مترس! و‌ای یشرون که تو را برگزیده‌ام! | ۲ 2 |
Thus, saith Yahweh—Who made thee and formed thee from birth, Who helpeth thee: Do not fear O my Servant Jacob, and Jeshurun whom I have chosen;
| اینک بر(زمین ) تشنه آب خواهم ریخت و نهرهابرخشک. روح خود را بر ذریت تو خواهم ریخت و برکت خویش را بر اولاد تو. | ۳ 3 |
For I will pour, Water upon the thirsty soil, and Floods upon the dry ground, —I will pour My spirit upon thy seed, and My blessing upon thine offspring;
| و ایشان در میان سبزه‌ها، مثل درختان بید بر جویهای آب خواهندرویید. | ۴ 4 |
So will they spring up among the grass, As willows by the water-courses:
| یکی خواهد گفت که من از آن خداوندهستم و دیگری خویشتن را به نام یعقوب خواهدخواند و دیگری بدست خود برای خداوندخواهد نوشت و خویشتن را به نام اسرائیل ملقب خواهد ساخت. | ۵ 5 |
This one, will say Yahweh’s, am I, and That one, will call himself by the name of Jacob, and Yonder one will write on his hand—Yahweh’s, And after the name of Israel, will one entitle himself.
| خداوند پادشاه اسرائیل و یهوه صبایوت که ولی ایشان است چنین می‌گوید: من اول هستم ومن آخر هستم و غیر از من خدایی نیست. | ۶ 6 |
Thus saith Yahweh—King of Israel, Even his Redeemer, Yahweh of hosts, —I, am, First, and, I, Last, And besides me, there is no God.
| و مثل من کیست که آن را اعلان کند و بیان نماید و آن راترتیب دهد، از زمانی که قوم قدیم را برقرارنمودم. پس چیزهای آینده و آنچه را که واقع خواهد شد اعلان بنمایند. | ۷ 7 |
Who then, like me, can call, and declare it, and order it, for me, Seeing that I appointed an age-abiding people, —Or things yet to be, and that shall come to pass, Let them declare on their part.
| ترسان و هراسان مباشید. آیا از زمان قدیم تو را اخبار و اعلام ننمودم و آیا شما شهود من نیستید؟ آیا غیر از من خدایی هست؟ البته صخره‌ای نیست و احدی را نمی شناسم.» | ۸ 8 |
Do not ye dread, nor yet be alarmed, Have I not from olden time, told thee and declared? So that, ye, are my witnesses, —Whether there is a GOD besides me? Or is no Rock—I knew of none!
| آنانی که بتهای تراشیده می‌سازندجمیع باطلند و چیزهایی که ایشان می‌پسندندفایده‌ای ندارد و شهود ایشان نمی بینند ونمی دانند تا خجالت بکشند. | ۹ 9 |
The fashioners of an image—all of them, are emptiness, And, the things they delight in, cannot profit, —And, their, witnesses, they, neither see nor know, That they may be ashamed.
| کیست که خدایی ساخته یا بتی ریخته باشد که نفعی ندارد؟ | ۱۰ 10 |
Who hath fashioned a GOD, Oran image, hath molten? It cannot profit!
| اینک جمیع یاران او خجل خواهند شد وصنعتگران از انسان می‌باشند. پس جمیع ایشان جمع شده، بایستند تا با هم ترسان و خجل گردند. | ۱۱ 11 |
Lo! all his partners, turn pale, Even, the artificers themselves, are of the sons of earth, —Let them gather themselves together—all of them. Let them take their stand, Let them dread, and turn pale, together!
| آهن را با تیشه می‌تراشد و آن را در زغال کار می‌کند و با چکش صورت می‌دهد و با قوت بازوی خویش آن را می‌سازد و نیز گرسنه شده، بی‌قوت می‌گردد و آب ننوشیده، ضعف بهم می‌رساند. | ۱۲ 12 |
As for the smith, [with his] cutting-tool, —When he hath wrought in the live coals, And, with hammers, hath fashioned it, —And hath wrought it with his strong arm, Anon he is hungry, and hath no strength, He hath drunk no water and so hath become faint!
| چوب را می‌تراشد و ریسمان راکشیده، با قلم آن را نشان می‌کند و با رنده آن راصاف می‌سازد و با پرگار نشان می‌کند پس آن را به شبیه انسان و به جمال آدمی می‌سازد تا در خانه ساکن شود. | ۱۳ 13 |
As for the carpenter, —He hath stretched out a line hath drawn it with a pencil, Hath made it with carving tools, With compasses, hath rounded it, —And so hath made it after the figure of a great man, After the beauty of a son of earth, that it may remain in a house!
| سروهای آزاد برای خود قطع می‌کند و سندیان و بلوط را گرفته، آنها را ازدرختان جنگل برای خود اختیار می‌کند وشمشاد را غرس نموده، باران آن را نمو می‌دهد. | ۱۴ 14 |
When one was cutting him down cedars, Then took he a holm-tree and an oak, And secured them for himself, among the trees of the forest, —He planted a fir-tree and the pouring rain made it grow;
| پس برای شخص به جهت سوخت بکارمی آید و از آن گرفته، خود را گرم می‌کند و آن راافروخته نان می‌پزد و خدایی ساخته، آن رامی پرستد و از آن بتی ساخته، پیش آن سجده می‌کند. | ۱۵ 15 |
So it serveth for a man to burn, And he hath taken of the branches and warmed himself, Also he kindleth a fire, and baketh bread, —Also he maketh a GOD, and hath bowed himself down, Hath made of it a carved image, and adored it:
| بعضی از آن را در آتش می‌سوزاند وبر بعضی گوشت پخته می‌خورد و کباب را برشته کرده، سیر می‌شود و گرم شده، می‌گوید: وه گرم شده، آتش را دیدم. | ۱۶ 16 |
The half thereof, hath he burned in the fire, Over half thereof, he eateth flesh, He roasteth roast, that he may be satisfied, —Also he warmeth himself, and saith, Aha, I am warm, I have seen a blaze;
| و از بقیه آن خدایی یعنی بت خویش را می‌سازد و پیش آن سجده کرده، عبادت می‌کند و نزد آن دعا نموده، می‌گوید: مرا نجات بده چونکه تو خدای من هستی. | ۱۷ 17 |
And the residue thereof, Into a GOD, he maketh, Into his carved image, —Adoreth it, and boweth down and prayeth unto it, And saith Deliver me, for, my GOD, thou art!
| ایشان نمی دانند و نمی فهمند زیرا که چشمان ایشان رابسته است تا نبینند و دل ایشان را تا تعقل ننمایند. | ۱۸ 18 |
They have not taken note, neither can they perceive, —He hath besmeared—past seeing—their eyes, Past understanding, their hearts;
| و تفکر ننموده، معرفت و فطانتی ندارند تابگویند نصف آن را در آتش سوختیم و بر زغالش نیز نان پختیم و گوشت را کباب کرده، خوردیم پس آیا از بقیه آن بتی بسازیم و به تنه درخت سجده نماییم؟ | ۱۹ 19 |
And no one reflecteth—There is neither knowledge nor discernment—to say, Half thereof, have I burned up in the fire Moreover also I have baked, on the coals thereof, bread, I roasted flesh, and have been eating, —And of the remainder thereof, an abomination, shall I make? And, to a log of wood, shall I pay adoration?
| خاکستر را خوراک خودمی سازد و دل فریب خورده او را گمراه می‌کند که جان خود را نتواند رهانید و فکر نمی نماید که آیادر دست راست من دروغ نیست. | ۲۰ 20 |
He is feeding on ashes, A deluded heart, hath turned him aside, —And he cannot deliver his own soul nor say, Is there not a falsehood in my right hand?
| «ای یعقوب و‌ای اسرائیل اینها را بیادآورچونکه تو بنده من هستی. تو را سرشتم‌ای اسرائیل تو بنده من هستی از من فراموش نخواهی شد. | ۲۱ 21 |
Remember these things, O Jacob, And, Israel, —for, my Servant, thou art, —I have fashioned thee, a Servant of mine, thou art.
| تقصیرهای تو را مثل ابر غلیظ و گناهانت را مانند ابر محو ساختم. پس نزد من بازگشت نمازیرا تو را فدیه کرده‌ام. | ۲۲ 22 |
O Israel, thou shalt not be forgotten of me, I have wiped out, As with a thick cloud, thy transgressions, And as with a broad cloud, thy sins, —Return unto me, for I have redeemed thee.
| ای آسمانها ترنم نمایید زیرا که خداوند این را کرده است! و‌ای اسفلهای زمین! فریاد برآورید و‌ای کوهها وجنگلها و هر درختی که در آنها باشد بسرایید! زیرا خداوند یعقوب را فدیه کرده است وخویشتن را در اسرائیل تمجید خواهد نمود.» | ۲۳ 23 |
Shout in triumph ye heavens for Yahweh, hath effectually wrought. Shout, O ye underparts of the earth, Ring out, Ye mountains, into cries of triumph, Thou forest, and every tree therein, —For, Yahweh, hath redeemed, Jacob, And in Israel, will he get himself glory.
| خداوند که ولی تو است و تو را از رحم سرشته است چنین می‌گوید: من یهوه هستم وهمه‌چیز را ساختم. آسمانها را به تنهایی گسترانیدم و زمین را پهن کردم و با من که بود. | ۲۴ 24 |
Thus, saith Yahweh Who hath redeemed thee, Who hath fashioned thee from birth, —I—Yahweh, am the maker of all things, Stretching out the heavens, alone, Spreading forth the earth, of myself;
| آنکه آیات کاذبان را باطل می‌سازد وجادوگران را احمق می‌گرداند. و حکیمان رابعقب برمی گرداند و علم ایشان را به جهالت تبدیل می‌کند. | ۲۵ 25 |
Frustrating the signs of praters, And, diviners, he confoundeth, —Turning wise men backwards, And their knowledge, he maketh folly;
| که سخنان بندگان خود را برقرار می‌دارد و مشورت رسولان خویش را به انجام می‌رساند، که درباره اورشلیم می‌گویدمعمور خواهد شد و درباره شهرهای یهودا که بناخواهد شد و خرابی های آن را برپا خواهم داشت. | ۲۶ 26 |
Establishing the word of his Servant, And the counsel of his Messengers, he maketh good, —Who saith of Jerusalem—She shall be inhabited! And of the cities of Judah—They shall be built! And the ruins thereof, will I set up!
| آنکه به لجه می‌گوید که خشک شو ونهرهایت را خشک خواهم ساخت. | ۲۷ 27 |
Who saith to the deep—Be dry and Thy rivers, will I drain!
| و درباره کورش می‌گوید که او شبان من است و تمامی مسرت مرا به اتمام خواهد رسانید و درباره اورشلیم می‌گوید بنا خواهد شد و درباره هیکل که بنیاد تو نهاده خواهد گشت.» | ۲۸ 28 |
Who saith of Cyrus—My Shepherd! and All my pleasure, shall he make good Even saying of Jerusalem—She shall be built! And of the temple—Be her foundation laid!
