1 Benjamin var far til Bela, som var hans førstefødte, Asbel, som var hans annen sønn, og Akrah, den tredje,
And Benjamin begat Bela his first-born, Ashbel the second, and Aharah the third,
2 Noka, den fjerde, og Rafa, den femte.
Nohah the fourth, and Rapha the fifth.
3 Og Bela hadde sønnene Addar og Gera og Abihud
And there are sons to Bela: Addar, and Gera,
4 og Abisua og Na'aman og Akoah
and Abihud, and Abishua, and Naaman, and Ahoah,
5 og Gera og Sefufan og Huram.
and Gera, and Shephuphan, and Huram.
6 Og dette var Ehuds sønner, som var familiehoder blandt Gebas innbyggere, og som blev bortført til Manahat
And these [are] sons of Ehud: they are heads of fathers to the inhabitants of Geba, and they remove them unto Manahath;

and Naaman, and Ahiah, and Gera, he removed them, and begat Uzza and Ahihud.

And Shaharaim begat in the field of Moab, after his sending them away; Hushim and Baara [are] his wives.
9 Og med sin hustru Hodes fikk han Jobab og Sibja og Mesa og Malkam
And he begetteth of Hodesh his wife, Jobab, and Zibia, and Mesha, and Malcham,
10 og Je'us og Sokja og Mirma; dette var hans sønner; de var familiehoder.
and Jeuz, and Shachiah, and Mirmah. These [are] his sons, heads of fathers.
11 Med Husim fikk han Abitub og Elpa'al.
And of Hushim he begat Ahitub and Elpaal.
12 Og Elpa'als sønner var Eber og Mis'am og Semer - han bygget Ono og Lod med tilhørende byer -
And sons of Elpaal: Eber, and Misheam, and Shamer, (he built Ono and Lod and its small towns),

and Beriah and Shema, (they [are] the heads of fathers to the inhabitants of Aijalon — they caused to flee the inhabitants of Gath),
14 Ahjo, Sasak og Jeremot

and Zebadiah, and Arad, and Ader,
16 og Mikael og Jispa og Johavar Berias sønner;
and Michael, and Ispah, and Joha, sons of Beriah,

and Zebadiah, and Meshullam, and Hezeki, and Heber,
18 og Jismerai og Jislia og Jobab har Elpa'als sønner.
and Ishmerai, and Jezliah, and Jobab, sons of Elpaal;
19 Og Jakim og Sikri og Sabdi
And Jakim, and Zichri, and Zabdi,
20 og Elienai og Silletai og Eliel
and Elienai, and Zillethai, and Eliel,
21 og Adaja og Beraja og Simrat var Sime'is sønner.
and Adaiah, and Beraiah, and Shimrath, sons of Shimei;
22 Og Jispan og Eber og Eliel
And Ishpan, and Heber, and Eliel,
23 og Abdon og Sikri og Hanan
and Abdon, and Zichri, and Hanan,
24 og Hananja og Elam og Antotija
and Hananiah, and Elam, and Antothijah,
25 og Jifdeja og Pniel var Sasaks sønner.
and Iphedeiah, and Penuel, sons of Shashak;
26 Og Samserai og Seharja og Atalja
And Shamsherai, and Shehariah, and Athaliah,
27 og Ja'aresja og Elia og Sikri var Jerohams sønner.
and Jaareshiah, and Eliah, and Zichri, sons of Jeroham.
28 Alle disse var familiehoder, hoder for sine ætter; de bodde i Jerusalem.
These [are] heads of fathers, by their generations, heads; these dwelt in Jerusalem.
29 I Gibeon bodde Gibeons far; hans hustru hette Ma'aka.
And in Gibeon hath the father of Gibeon dwelt, and the name of his wife [is] Maachah;
30 Og hans førstefødte sønn var Abdon; så var det Sur og Kis og Ba'al og Nadab
and his son, the first-born, [is] Abdon, and Zur, and Kish, and Baal, and Nadab,
31 og Gedor og Ahjo og Seker.
and Gedor, and Ahio, and Zacher;
32 Og Miklot fikk sønnen Simea. Også disse bodde midt imot sine brødre i Jerusalem, sammen med sine brødre.
and Mikloth begat Shimeah. And they also over-against their brethren dwelt in Jerusalem with their brethren.
33 Og Ner fikk sønnen Kis, og Kis var far til Saul, og Saul fikk sønnene Jonatan og Malkisua og Abinadab og Esba'al.
And Ner begat Kish, and Kish begat Saul, and Saul begat Jonathan, and Malchi-Shua, and Abinadab, and Esh-Baal.
34 Og Jonatans sønn var Meribba'al, og Meribba'al fikk sønnen Mika.
And a son of Jonathan [is] Merib-Baal, and Merib-Baal begat Micah;
35 Og Mikas sønner var Piton og Melek og Tarea og Akas.
and sons of Micah: Pithon, and Melech, and Tarea, and Ahaz:
36 Og Akas fikk sønnen Joadda, og Joadda fikk Alemet og Asmavet og Simri, og Simri fikk Mosa.
and Ahaz begat Jehoadah, and Jehoadah begat Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri begat Moza,
37 Og Mosa fikk sønnen Bina hans sønn var Rafa; hans sønn Elasa hans sønn Asel.
and Moza begat Binea, Raphah [is] his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son.
38 Og Asel hadde seks sønner, og dette var deres navn: Asrikam, Bokeru og Ismael og Searja og Obadja og Hanan; alle disse var sønner av Asel.
And to Azel [are] six sons, and these [are] their names: Azrikam, Bocheru, and Ishmael, and Sheariah, and Obadiah, and Hanan. All these [are] sons of Azel.
39 Og hans bror Eseks sønner var Ulam, hans førstefødte, Je'us, den annen, og Elifelet, den tredje.
And sons of Eshek his brother: Ulam his first-born, Jehush the second, and Eliphelet the third.
40 Ulams sønner var veldige stridsmenn, dyktige bueskyttere; de hadde mange sønner og sønnesønner - hundre og femti. Alle disse var av Benjamins barn.
And the sons of Ulam are men mighty in valour, treading bow, and multiplying sons and son's sons, a hundred and fifty. All these [are] of the sons of Benjamin.
