रोम. 5
1 १ आता आपण विश्वासाने नीतिमान ठरवले गेलो आहोत म्हणून आपला प्रभू येशू ख्रिस्त ह्याच्याद्वारे देवाबरोबर शांती आहे.
Therefore having been justified by faith, let us have peace toward God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
2 २ आपण उभे आहोत त्या कृपेतही त्याच्याद्वारे विश्वासाने आपल्याला प्रवेश मिळाला आहे व आपण देवाच्या गौरवाच्या आशेत अभिमान मिरवतो.
through whom we also have access by faith unto this grace in which we stand, and let us rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.
And not only so, but let us also rejoice in tribulation; knowing that tribulation works out endurance;
and endurance, approval; and approval, hope:
5 ५ आणि आशा लज्जित करीत नाही; कारण आपल्या अंतःकरणात आपल्याला दिलेल्या पवित्र आत्म्याच्याद्वारे देवाची प्रीती ओतली जात आहे.
and hope makes not ashamed; because the divine love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Ghost who has been given unto us.
For we being yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly:
7 ७ कारण एखाद्या नीतिमान मनुष्यासाठी क्वचित कोणी मनुष्य मरेल कारण एखाद्या चांगल्या मनुष्यासाठी कदाचीत कोणी मरण्याचेही धाडस करील,
for scarcely will one die for a righteous man; for perhaps some one even dares to die for a good man.
8 ८ पण आपण पापी असताना ख्रिस्त आपल्यासाठी मरण पावला, ह्यात देव त्याची आपल्यावरील प्रीती प्रस्थापित करतो.
And God commends his love to us, because, we being yet sinners, Christ died for us.
9 ९ मग आता आपण त्याच्या रक्ताने नीतिमान ठरवले गेलो आहोत, तर त्याहून अधिक हे आहे की त्याच्याद्वारे आपण देवाच्या क्रोधापासून तारले जाऊ.
How much more then, having now been justified by his blood, shall we be saved from wrath through him.
10 १० कारण आपण वैरी होतो, तेव्हा जर आपला देवाबरोबर, त्याच्या पुत्राच्या मरणाने समेट केला गेला, तर त्याहून अधिक हे आहे की, आपला समेट केला गेल्यामुळे त्याच्या जीवनाने आपण निश्चित तारले जाऊ.
For if being enemies we are reconciled to God through the death of his Son; how much more, being reconciled, shall we be saved through his life:
11 ११ इतकेच नाही, पण आता ज्याच्या द्वारे आपण समेट स्वीकारला आहे तो आपला प्रभू येशू ख्रिस्त ह्याच्याद्वारे आपण देवाच्या ठायी अभिमान मिरवतो.
but not only so, but even rejoicing in God through Jesus Christ our Lord, through whom we now received reconciliation.
12 १२ म्हणून एका मनुष्याद्वारे जगात पाप आले व पापाद्वारे मरण आले आणि सर्वांनी पाप केल्यामुळे सर्व मनुष्यांवर मरण आले.
Therefore, as by one man sin came into the world, and death by sin; and thus death came upon all men, in that all sinned;
(for until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed, there being no law;
14 १४ तरी मरणाने आदामापासून मोशेपर्यंत राज्य केले; आदामाच्या उल्लंघनाच्या रूपाप्रमाणे ज्यांनी पाप केले नव्हते त्यांच्यावरही राज्य केले आणि तो तर जो पुढे येणार होता त्याचा नमुना होता.
but death reigned from Adam unto Moses, even on those who did not sin after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the type of him who is to come.
15 १५ पण अपराधाची गोष्ट आहे तशी कृपादानाची नाही; कारण एकाच्या अपराधामुळे जर पुष्कळ मरण पावले, तर त्याहून अधिक हे आहे की, देवाची कृपा व येशू ख्रिस्त या एका मनुष्याच्या कृपेची देणगी पुष्कळांसाठी विपुल झाली.
But not as was the transgression, even so is the free gift: for if by the transgression of one many died, how much more by the grace of one man, Jesus Christ, did the grace of God and the gift abound unto many!
16 १६ आणि पाप करणार्‍या एकामुळे जसा परिणाम झाला, तशी देणगीची गोष्ट नाही; कारण एका अपराधामुळे दंडाज्ञेसाठी न्याय आला, पण अनेक अपराधांमुळे निर्दोषीकरणासाठी कृपादान आले.
And not as by the one having sinned, is the free gift; for indeed, judgment was from one unto condemnation, but the free gift is from many transgressions unto justification.
17 १७ कारण मरणाने, एका अपराधामुळे, एकाच्या द्वारे राज्य केले, तर त्याहून अधिक हे आहे की, जे कृपेची व नीतिमत्त्वाच्या देणगीची विपुलता स्वीकारतात, ते त्या एकाच्या, म्हणजे येशू ख्रिस्ताच्या द्वारे जीवनात राज्य करतील.
For if by the transgression of one death reigned through one; how much more shall those receiving the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one, Christ Jesus!)
18 १८ म्हणून जसे एकाच अपराधामुळे सर्व मनुष्यांना दंडाज्ञा ठरविण्यास कारण झाले, तसे एकाच निर्दोषीकरणामुळे सर्व मनुष्यांना जीवनासाठी नीतिमान ठरविण्यास कारण झाले.
Therefore then, as by the transgression of one, judgment came to all men to condemnation; so also through the righteousness of one, the free gift came on all men unto the justification of life:
19 १९ कारण जसे एकाच्या आज्ञाभंगामुळे अनेक जण पापी ठरवले गेले, तसे एकाच्या आज्ञापालनामुळे अनेक जण नीतिमान ठरवले जातील.
for as by the disobedience of one man many were made sinners, so also by the obedience of one man shall many be made righteous.
But the law came, that the transgression might abound; but where sin did abound, there did grace superabound:
21 २१ म्हणजे, जसे पापाने मरणाच्या योगे राज्य चालविले तसे कृपेने नीतिमत्त्वाच्या योगे प्राप्त होणार्‍या सार्वकालिक जीवनासाठी आपला प्रभू येशू ख्रिस्त ह्याच्याद्वारे राज्य चालवावे. (aiōnios g166)
in order that as sin reigned through death, so may grace reign also through righteousness unto eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (aiōnios g166)
