1 Fatokisañe ty mamente o raha tamaeñeo, ty fampibentarañe o raha tsy oniñeo.
But feith is the substaunce of thingis that ben to be hopid, and an argument of thingis not apperynge.
2 Ie ty nahazoa’ o taoloo to.
And in this feith elde men han gete witnessyng.
3 Fatokisañe ty ahaoniñan-tika amy Tsinaran’ Añaharey, te tsy nalaha’e amo raha oniñeo o raha miboake amo sào. (aiōn g165)
Bi feith we vndurstonden that the worldis weren maad bi Goddis word, that visible thingis weren maad of vnuysible thingis. (aiōn g165)
4 Fatokisañe ty nañengà’ i Abela aman’ Añahare soroñe soa te amy Kaina, vaho nitaroñeñe te vantañe, ie nitsa­raen’ Añahare i banabana’ey, toe misaontsy re ndra te nihomake.
Bi feith Abel offride a myche more sacrifice than Caym to God, bi which he gat witnessyng to be iust, for God bar witnessyng to hise yiftis; and bi that feith he deed spekith yit.
5 Fatokisañe ty nampionjoneñe i Enoke tsy handia havilasy, ie tsy nitendreke fa rinamben’ Añahare; ie nitaroñeñe taolo’ ty nampionjonañe aze te nisohen’ Añahare.
Bi feith Ennok was translatid, that he schulde not se deth; and he was not foundun, for the Lord translatide him. For bifore translacioun he hadde witnessing that he pleside God.
6 Tsy mahafale Aze t’ie tsy amam-patokisañe. Amy te ze hañarine aman’ Añahare, tsy mete tsy matoky t’ie eo, naho manambe ty mitsoek’ aze.
And it is impossible to plese God without feith. For it bihoueth that a man comynge to God, bileue that he is, and that he is rewardere to men that seken hym.
7 Fatokisañe am-pañeveñañe ty nandranjia’ i Noe lakan-katae ty amy hatahatan’ Añaharey o raha mbe tsy rendrekeo, handrombaha’e i hasavereña’ey, ie ty namarañe ty tane bey toy, naho nampandovañe i havantañam-patokisañey.
Bi feith Noe dredde, thorouy answere takun of these thingis that yit weren not seyn, and schapide a schip in to the helthe of his hous; bi which he dampnede the world, and is ordeyned eir of riytwisnesse, which is bi feith.
8 Fatokisañe ty niantofa’ i Abra­àme, ie kinanjy hienga mb’an-tane ho ram­bese’e afara ho lova, vaho nionjoñe mb’eo tsy nahafohiñe ty hombà’e.
By feith he that is clepid Abraham, obeiede to go out in to a place, whiche he schulde take in to eritage; and he wente out, not witinge whidur he schulde go.
9 Fatokisañe ty nañialoa’e an-tane nampitamaeñey, hoe ambahiny, ie nimoneñe an-kivoho mindre am’ Ietsa­ke naho Iakobe, mpitrao-lova ama’e amy fampitamàñey.
Bi feith he dwelte in the loond of biheest, as in an alien loond, dwellynge in litle housis with Ysaac and Jacob, euene heiris of the same biheest.
10 Toe i rova reke-manantañey ty nitamà’e, i rinanjin’ Añahare naho tsinene’ey.
For he abood a citee hauynge foundementis, whos crafti man and maker is God.
11 Fatokisañe ka, ty nampaozatse i Saràe hiareñe, naho nahasamak’ anake ndra te losotse o taoñe nahampela azeo, ie niantoke te migahiñe i Nampitàmay.
Bi feith also the ilke Sara bareyn, took vertu in consceyuyng of seed, yhe, ayen the tyme of age; for sche bileuede hym trewe, that hadde bihiyte.
12 Aa le sinama’ i fa hihomakey, ty mira ami’ty hatozantoza’ o vasian-dikerañeo naho o faseñe añ’ olon-driake tsy lefe iaheñeo.
For which thing of oon, and yit nyy deed, ther ben borun as sterris of heuene in multitude, and as grauel that is at the see side out of noumbre.
13 Songa nivilasy am-patokisañe, tsy tam’ iereo o nampitamañeo; fe nioni’ iereo tsietoimoneñe añe, le nisalalaeñe, vaho niantofa’ iereo t'ie renetane, mpañialo an-tane atoy.
Bi feith alle these ben deed, whanne the biheestis weren not takun, but thei bihelden hem afer, and gretynge hem wel, and knoulechide that thei weren pilgryms, and herboryd men on the erthe.
14 Ampalangese’ o mitaroñe izaio te mitamà tanen-droae.
And thei that sayn these thingis, signifien that thei sechen a cuntre.
15 Aa naho nimaniña’ iareo i tane niboahañey, le nalalake t'ie ho nimpoly.
`If thei hadden hadde mynde of the ilke, of which thei wenten out, thei hadden tyme of turnyng ayen;
16 F’ie nitamà ty soa—toe i andindìñe añey. Ie amy zay, tsy mahasalatse an’ Andrianañahare ty atao Andrianañahare’ iareo vaho nihalankàña’e rova.
but now thei desiren a betere, that is to seie, heuenli. Therfor God is not confoundid to be clepid the God of hem; for he made redi to hem a citee.
17 Fatokisañe ty nañengà’ i Abraàme t’Ietsake, ie nitsoheñe; nen­gae’ i nandrambe i fitamañeiy i bako toka’ey,
Bi feith Abraham offride Ysaac, whanne he was temptid; and he offride the oon bigetun, whych had takun the biheestis;
18 ie nanoañe ty hoe: Am’ Isaka ty hikanjiañe o tarira’oo.
to whom it was seid, For in Ysaac the seed schal be clepid to thee.
19 Natokisa’e te lefen’ Añahare ty hampitroatse ty nihomake, le ao ty nandrambesa’e aze am-pandrazañañe.
For he demyde, that God is myyti to reise hym, yhe, fro deth; wherfor he took hym also in to a parable.
20 Fatokisañe ty nitatà’ Isaka t’Iakobe naho i Esave amo raha ho avio.
Bi feith also of thingis to comynge, Ysaac blesside Jacob and Esau.
21 Fatokisañe ty nitatà’ Iakobe fa hihomakey i ana’ Iosefe rey vaho nitalaho t’ie niato andoham-pitoño’e.
Bi feith Jacob diynge blesside alle the sones of Joseph, and onouride the hiynesse of his yerde.
22 Fatokisañe ty nitokia’ Iosefe, ie fa hèta’ey, ty hiavota’ o nte-Israeleo vaho toe nafè’e o taola’eo.
Bi feith Joseph dyynge hadde mynde of the passyng forth of the children of Israel, and comaundide of hise boonys.
23 Fatokisañe ty nañetahan-droae’ i Mosè aze te nitoly, naho nioni’ iareo t’ie ajaja soa, vaho tsy nahahembañe iareo ty nafè’ i mpanjakay.
Bi feith Moyses borun, was hid thre monethis of his fadir and modir, for that thei seiyen the yonge child fair; and thei dredden not the maundement of the king.
24 Fatokisañe ty nifoneña’ i Mosè tsy hatao ana’ ty anak’ ampela’ i Farao, ie fa niañoñ’ay,
Bi feith Moises was maad greet, and denyede that he was the sone of Faraos douytir,
25 te mone jinobo’e ty hifeake fampisoañañe mindre am’ondatin’ Añahareo, ta t’ie hanañ’andro hieranerañe an-kakeo;
and chees more to be turmentid with the puple of God, than to haue myrthe of temporal synne;
26 natao’e te vara mandikoatse ty harea’ i Egipte ty ìnje’ i Norizañey, amy te nitalakese’e i tambe’ey.
demynge the repreef of Crist more richessis than the tresours of Egipcians; for he bihelde in to the rewarding.
27 Fatokisañe ty niengà’e i Egipte, tsy nihembaña’e ty haviñera’ i mpanjakay; fe nifeake hoe te niisa’e i tsy isakey.
Bi feith he forsook Egipt, and dredde not the hardynesse of the king; for he abood, as seinge hym that was vnuysible.
28 Fatokisañe ty nahahenefa’e i Fihelañey, naho i fitse-lioy, tsy hipaoha’ i mpanjaman-tañoloñolòñañey iareo.
Bi feith he halewide pask, and the scheding out of blood, that he that distriede the firste thingis of Egipcians, schulde not touche hem.
29 Fatokisañe ty nitoaña’ iareo i Riake Menay hoe an-tane maike, fe nagedra’e o nte Egipte nahavany nisoroke ama'eo.
Bi feith thei passiden the reed see, as bi drye lond, which thing Egipcians asaiynge weren deuourid.
30 Fatokisañe ty nampiforetrake o kijoli’ i Jerikòo, ie niariaria’ iareo fito andro.
Bi feith the wallis of Jerico felden doun, bi cumpassyng of seuene daies.
31 Fatokisañe ty tsy nitraofa’ i Rahaba karapilo fivetrak’ amo nanjehatseo ie nandrambe i mpifilo rey am-panintsiñañe.
Bi feith Raab hoor resseyuede the aspieris with pees, and perischide not with vnbileueful men.
32 Aa inon-ka ty hataliliko? Fa hilesa ty andro naho taroñeko i Gideona naho i Baraka naho i Samsone naho i Jefta, i Davide ka, naho i Samoela vaho o mpitokio,
And what yit schal Y seie? For tyme schal faile to me tellynge of Gedeon, Barak, Sampson, Jepte, Dauid, and Samuel, and of othere prophetis;
33 ie am-patokisañe ro nampiambane fifeheañe, nitolon-kavantañañe, nahazo fampitamàñe, nampitsiteke ty vavan-diona,
whiche bi feith ouercamen rewmes, wrouyten riytwisnesse, gaten repromyssiouns; thei stoppiden the mouthis of liouns,
34 namono ty afo nisotratràke, nibolititse ami’ty lelam-pibara, ni-haozareñe te naifo­ifo, nifanalolahy añ’aly vaho nampitriban-day o lahin-defon’ ambahinio.
thei quenchiden the feersnesse of fier, thei dryueden awei the egge of swerd, thei coueriden of sijknesse, thei weren maad strong in batel, thei turneden the oostis of aliens.
35 Rinambe’ o rakembao o vilasi’ iareoo te vinañon-ko veloñe; nisamporeraheñe ty ila’e nitoky tsy hahañe, handrambesa’ iareo ty fitroarañe soa,
Wymmen resseyueden her deed children fro deth to lijf; but othere weren holdun forth, not takinge redempcioun, that thei schulden fynde a betere ayenrising.
36 nitsoehem-pañinjeañe naho firiso ty ila’e, mbore vinahotse vaho najo am-pandrohizañe ao.
And othere asaieden scornyngis and betingis, more ouer and boondis and prisouns.
37 Finetsa-bato iereo, linily lasý, nizizieñe, vinono am-pibara, nirere­rere an-kolits’ añondry naho holits’ ose, nibangý, niforekekèñe, nivolevolèñe—
Thei weren stoned, thei weren sawid, thei weren temptid, thei weren deed in sleyng of swerd. Thei wenten aboute in broc skynnes, and in skynnes of geet, nedi, angwischid, turmentid;
38 tsy nañeva iareo ty voatse toy—nisariosario an-dratraratra añe naho am-bohitse ao naho an-dakato vaho an-kobo’ ty tane toy ao.
to whiche the world was not worthi. Thei erriden in wildernessis, in mounteynes and dennes, and caues of the erthe.
39 Ie iaby rezay, niventem-patokisañe, fe tsy nandrambe i nampitamaeñey.
And alle these, preued bi witnessing of feith, token not repromyssioun;
40 Amy te lombolombon-kasoa ty natolon’ Añahare aman-tika, te tsy ho fonireñe iereo naho tsy itika.
for God purueiede sum betere thing for vs, that thei schulden not be maad perfit with outen vs.
