1 Nitotok’ amy zao ty andro hikoromaha’ i Davide; le hoe ty nafè’e amy Selomò ana’e,
Forsothe the daies of Dauid neiyiden, that he schulde die; and he comaundide to Salomon, his sone, and seide, Lo!
2 Homb’ amy fombà’ ty tane-bey toy raho: aa le mihafatrara h’ondaty;
Y entre in to the weie of al erthe; be thou coumfortid, and be thou a strong man.
3 mifahara amy nafanto’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’oy, ty hañavelo amo lala’eo, ty hañambeñe o fañè’eo naho o taro’eo ie misokitse amy Hà’ i Mosèy, soa t’ie hahatafetetse amy ze hene toloñe’o, ndra aia aia ty itoliha’o,
And kepe thou the kepyngis and heestis of thi Lord God, that thou go in hise weies, and kepe hise cerymonyes, and hise heestis, and hise domes, and witnessyngis, as it is writun in the lawe of Moises; that thou vndurstonde alle thingis whiche thou doist, and whidur euer thou schalt turne thee.
4 hampijadoña’ Iehovà i entañe tsinara’e amakoy, ty hoe, Naho ambena’ o ana’oo o lia’eo, hañavelo añatrefako eo an-katò, an-kaampon’ arofo vaho an-kaliforam-pañova, le tsy ho-pok’ ondaty amy fiambesa’ Israeley rehe.
That the Lord conferme hise wordis, whiche the Lord spak of me, and seide, If thi sones kepen my weies, and goen bifor me in treuthe, in al her herte, and in al her soule, a man schal not be takun awei of thee fro the trone of Israel.
5 Fohi’o ka i nanoe’ Ioabe ana’ i Tseroia amakoy, naho i nanoe’e amy mpifehe roe’ i valobohò’ Israeley rey, amy Abnere ana’ i Nere, naho amy Amasà ana’ Ietere, ie vinono’e naho nampiorihe’e lio an-tsan-kanintsiñe hoe an-tsan’aly, vaho nampidiañe’e lion’ aly o toha’eo hoe sadia naho hoe hana am-pandia’eo.
Also thou knowist what thingis Joab, the sone of Saruye, dide to me; what thingis he dide to twey princis of the oost of Israel, to Abner, sone of Ner, and to Amasa, sone of Jether, whiche he killide, and schedde the blood of batel in pees; and puttide the blood of batel in his girdil, that was aboute hise leendis, and in his scho, that was in hise feet.
6 Ano arè ami’ty hihi’o, le ko ado’o hizotso mb’an-tsikeokeok’ ao am-panintsiñañe i añambone’e fotiy. (Sheol h7585)
Therfor thou schalt do by thi wisdom, and thou schalt not lede forth his hoornesse pesibli to hellis. (Sheol h7585)
7 Le ampiboaho falalàñe amo ana’ i Bartsilay nte-Giladeo, naho angao ho mpiamo mpikama am-pandambaña’o; fa nimb’ amako iereo, ie nitriban-day ty amy Absalome rahalahi’oy.
But also thou schalt yelde grace to the sones of Bersellai of Galaad, and thei schulen be eetynge in thi boord; for thei metten me, whanne Y fledde fro the face of Absolon, thi brother.
8 Oniño te ama’o ka i ana’ i Simeiý ana’ i Gera nte-Beniamine boake Bakorimey, i namatse ahy an-kaloloañe amy andro nimbàko mb’e Maknaime mb’eoy f’ie nizotso nifanalaka amako am’ Iordaney, le nifanta ama’e añamy Iehovà raho t’ie tsy havetrako am-pibara.
Also thou hast anentis thee Semey, sone of Gera, sone of Gemyny, of Bahurym, which Semei curside me bi the worste cursyng, whanne Y yede to `the castels; but for he cam doun to me in to metyng, whanne Y passide Jordan, and Y swoor to him bi the Lord, and seide, Y schal not slee thee bi swerd,
9 Ie amy zao ko atao’o malio tahiñe, ihe ondaty mahihitse; le ho fohi’o ze hanoe’o le ampigodaño an-dio mb’ an-tsikeokeok’ ao i añambone’e fotiy. (Sheol h7585)
nyle thou suffre hym to be vnpunyschid; forsothe thou art a wise man, and thou schalt wite what thou schalt do to hym, and thou schalt lede forth hise hoor heeris with blood to hellis. (Sheol h7585)
10 Aa le nitrao-piròtse an-droae’e t’i Davide vaho nalentek’ an-drova’ i Davide ao.
Sotheli Dauid slepte with hise fadris, and was biriede in the citee of Dauid.
11 O andro nifehea’ i Davide Israeleo le efa-polo taoñe, fito taoñe ty nifehea’e e Kebrone vaho telopolo-telo’ amby toañe ty nifehea’e e Ierosalaime ao.
Forsothe the daies, in whiche Dauid regnede on Israel, ben fourti yeer; in Ebron he regned seuene yeer, in Jerusalem thre and thretti yeer.
12 Niambesatse amy fiambesa’ i Davide rae’ey t’i Selomò vaho nisoa oreñe i fifehea’ey.
Forsothe Salomon sat on the trone of Dauid, his fadir, and his rewme was maad stidfast greetli.
13 Niheo mb’amy Betesebà rene’ i Selomò mb’eo t’i Adonià ana’ i Kagý, nanao ty hoe: An-kanintsiñe hao ty ihova’o mb’etoa? Le hoe re: Hanintsiñe.
And Adonye, sone of Agith, entride to Bersabee, modir of Salomon; and sche seide to hym, Whether thin entryng is pesible? And he answeride, It is pesible.
14 Le hoe re: Aman-entañe ho ama’o raho. Hoe ty natoi’e, Misaontsia arè.
And he addide, A word of me is to thee. `To whom sche seide, Speke thou.
15 Le hoe re: Fohi’o te ni-ahiko i fifeheañey vaho nitolik’ amako o lahara’ Israele iabio, te zaho ty hifeleke: fa ie amy zao nifamotetse i fifeheañey t’ie an-drahalahiko, amy te aze añamy Iehovà.
And he seide, Thou knowist that the rewme was myn, and al Israel purposide to make me in to king to hem; but the rewme is translatid, and is maad my brotheris; for of the Lord it is ordeyned to hym.
16 Aa ie henaneo, raik’ avao ty halaliko ama’o; ko lane’o. Le hoe re ama’e. Misaontsia.
Now therfor Y preye of the oon axyng; schende thou not my face. And sche seide to hym, Speke thou. And he seide, Y preie,
17 Le hoe re: Ehe misaontsia amy Selomò mpanjaka (ie tsy handiets’ azo), t’ie hanolots’ ahy i Abisage nte-Sonamý ho valiko.
that thou seie to Salomon the king; for he may not denye ony thing to thee; that he yyue to me Abisag of Sunam wijf.
18 Le hoe t’i Betesebà, Ie izay, ho volañeko amy mpanjakay i azoy.
And Bersabee seide, Wel, Y schal speke for thee to the kyng.
19 Aa le nimb’ amy Selomò mpanjaka t’i Bete-sebà hitaroñe i Adonià. Niongake nifañaoñe ama’e i mpanjakay naho nidròdreke vaho niambesatse am-piambesa’e eo, le nampipoha’e fiambesatse ho a i renem-panjakay; vaho niambesatse an-kavana’e eo.
Therfor Bersabee cam to kyng Salomon, to speke to hym for Adonye; and the kyng roos ayens the comyng of hir, and worschipide hir, and `sat on his trone; and a trone was set to the modir of the kyng, and sche sat at his riyt side.
20 Aa hoe re, Mihalaly raha kede ama’o raho le ko mandietse. Le hoe i mpanjakay ama’e, Mihalalia arè ene, fa tsy ho liereko.
And sche seide to hym, Y preie of thee o litil axyng; schende thou not my face. And the kyng seide to hir, My modir, axe thou; for it is not leueful that Y turne awei thi face.
21 Le hoe re, Ehe, atoloro ho tañanjomba’ i Adonià rahalahi’oy t’i Abisage nte Sonamý.
And sche seide, Abisag of Sunam be youun wijf to Adonye, thi brother.
22 Natoi’ i Selomò mpanjaka an-drene’e ty hoe: Aa vaho akore ty ihalalia’o ho a i Adonià i Abisage nte-Sonamý? halalio ho aze ka ty fifeheañe toy fa zokeko; eka ho aze naho i Abiatare mpisoroñe vaho Ioabe ana’ i Tseroià.
And kyng Salomon answeride, and seide to his modir, Whi axist thou Abisag of Sunam to Adonye? Axe thou to hym also the rewme; for he is `my gretter brothir, and he hath Abiathar, preest, and Joab, sone of Saruye.
23 Nifanta am’ Iehovà amy zao t’i Selomò mpanjaka, ami’ty hoe; Ee te hanoen’ Añahare amako naho mandikoatse, naho tsy namoea’e ay ty amo enta’e zao.
Therfor kyng Salomon swoor bi the Lord, and seide, God do to me these thingis, and adde these thinges, for Adonie spak this word ayens his lijf.
24 Aa kanao veloñe t’Iehovà nampijadoñe ahy naho nampitobok’ ahy am-piambesan-draeko naho namboatse anjomba ho ahy, ty amy tsara’ey, le tsy mete tsy havetrake t’i Adonià te anito.
And now the Lord lyueth, that confermede me, and hath set me on the trone of my fadir, and that hath maad to me an hows, as he spak, for Adonye schal be slayn to dai.
25 Nirahe’ i Selomò mpanjaka am-pità’ i Benaià ana’ Iehoiada te hiambotrahañe, vaho nihomake re.
And kyng Salomon sente bi the hond of Banaie, sone of Joiada; which Banaie killide Adonye, and he was deed.
26 Le nanao ty hoe amy Abiatare mpisoroñe i mpanjakay: Akia mb’e Anatote, mb’amo tete’oo mb’eo; toe mañeva ho mate; fe tsy havetrakoo hey, amy te nitarazoe’o añatrefan-draeko ty vata’ i Talè Iehovà, naho fonga nisotria’o ze nisilofan-draeko.
Also the kyng seide to Abiathar, preest, Go thou in to Anatot, to thi feeld; and sotheli thou art a man of deeth, `that is, worthi the deeth, for conspiryng ayens me, and the ordynaunce of God, and of my fadir; but to dai Y schal not sle thee, for thou barist the arke of the Lord God bifor Dauid, my fadir, and thou suffridist trauele in alle thingis, in whiche my fadir trauelide.
27 Aa le sinoi’ i Selomò t’i Abiatare tsy ho mpisoroñe am’ Iehovà; soa te ho heneke ty tsara’ natao’ Iehovà amy anjomba’ i Elý e Silòy.
Therfor Salomon puttide out Abiathar, that he schulde not be preest of the Lord, that the word of the Lord were fillid, which he spak on the hows of Heli, in Silo.
28 Natalily am’ Ioabe i nanoeñe zay, amy te nandifike mb’amy Adonià t’Ioabe, ndra t’ie tsy nandifike mb’amy Absalome. Le nipitsike mb’an-Kivoho’ Iehovà mb’eo t’Ioabe nivontititse amo tsifa’ i kitreliio.
Forsothe a messager cam to Salomon, that Joab hadde bowid aftir Adonye, and that he hadde not bowid after Salomon. Therfor Joab fledde in to the tabernacle of the Lord, and took the horn of the auter.
29 Sinaontsy amy Selomò mpanjaka ty hoe: Fa nivoratsake mb’ an-Kivoho’ Iehovà ao t’Ioabe, inao, amy kitreliy eo. Le nampañitrife’ i Selomò t’i Benaià ana’ Iehoiada ami’ty hoe: Akia iambotraho.
And it was teld to kyng Salomon, that Joab hadde fledde in to the tabernacle of the Lord, and was bisidis the auter; and Salomon sente Banaie, sone of Joiada, and seide, Go thou, and sle hym.
30 Niheo mb’amy Kivoho’ Iehovày mb’eo t’i Benaià le hoe ty asa’e tama’e: Hoe ty saontsi’ i mpanjakay: Miavota. Fa hoe re: Aiy! hikenkañe atoy raho. Aa le nabali’ i Benaià amy mpanjakay ty hoe: Hoe ty saontsi’ Ioabe, vaho zao ty navale’e ahy.
And Banaie cam to the tabernacle of the Lord, and seide to Joab, The kyng seith these thingis, Go thou out. And he seide, Y schal not go out, but Y schal die here. Banaie telde the word to the kyng, and seide, Joab spak thes thingis, and answeride these thingis to me.
31 Le hoe i mpanjakay tama’e: Ano i vinola’ey, iambotraho vaho alenteho; hañafaha’o amako naho añ’anjomban-draeko ty lio nampiorihe’ Ioabe tsy vente’e.
And the kyng seide to Banaie, Do thou as he spak, and sle thou hym, and birie him; and thou schalt remoue the innocent blood, that was sched out of Joab, fro me, and fro the hows of my fadir.
32 Iehovà ty hamalike ty lio’e añambone’e, amy t’ie niambotrak’ amy t’indaty roe vantañe naho soa te ama’e, vaho zinevo’e am-pibara, ie tsy nifohin-draeko: i Abnere ana’ i Nere, mpifehe’ ty valobohò’ Israele, naho i Amasà ana’ Ietere, mpifeleke ty valobohò’ Iehoda.
And the Lord yelde on his heed his blood, for he killide twei iust men, and betere than hym silf, and he killide hem bi swerd, while Dauid, my fadir, `wiste not, Abner, the sone of Ner, the prince of the chyualrie of Israel, and Amasa, sone of Jether, the prince of the oost of Juda.
33 Aa le hibalik’ amy añambone’ Ioabey, naho an-doha’ o tiri’eo nainai’e kitro katroke ty lio’ iareo; fe fanintsiñañe nainai’e kitro añ’afe’e ty ho amy Davide naho o tiri’eo naho i anjomba’ey vaho i fiambesa’e boak’ am’ Iehovày.
And the blood of hem schal turne ayen in to the heed of Joab, and in to the heed of his seed with outen ende; forsothe pees be of the Lord til in to with outen ende to Dauid, and to his seed, and to the hous and trone of hym.
34 Nionjoñe mb’eo amy zao t’i Benaià ana’ Iehoiada, le niambotraha’e, naho navetra’e; vaho nalentek’ añ’ anjomba’e am-patrambey añe.
Therfor Banaie, sone of Joiada, stiede, and asailide, and killide Joab; and Joab was biried in his hows in deseert.
35 Le najado’ i mpanjakay an-toe’e ho mpifehe i valobohòkey t’i Benaià; naho an-toe’ i Abiatare t’i Tsadoke mpisoroñe.
And the kyng ordeynede Banaie, sone of Joiada, on the oost for hym; and the kyng puttide Sadoch preest for Abiathar.
36 Nampañitrife’ i mpanjakay t’i Simeý, le nanoa’e ty hoe: Mandranjia anjomba e Ierosalaime atoy, le imoneño, vaho ko iakara’o homb’ aia ndra aia.
Also the kyng sente, and clepide Semey, and seide to hym, Bilde to thee an hows in Jerusalem, and dwelle thou there, and thou schalt not go out fro thennus hidur and thidur;
37 Fa amy andro iavota’o hitsake i Kidroneiy, le mahafohina an-katò t’ie toe hikenkañe; vaho ho amy añ’ambone’oy ty lio’o.
sotheli in what euer dai thou goist out, and passist the stronde of Cedron, wite thou thee worthi to be slayn; thi blood schal be on thin heed.
38 Aa hoe t’i Simeý amy mpanjakay: Noko o saontsi’oo; le i tinaro’ i talèko mpanjakay ty hanoe’ o mpitoro’oo, vaho nimoneñe e Ierosalaime ao andro maro t’i Simeý.
And Semei seide to the kyng, The word of the kyng is good; as my lord the kyng spak, so thi seruaunt schal do. Therfor Semey dwellide in Jerusalem in many daies.
39 Fa ie nimodo ty telo taoñe le nitriban-day mb’e Akise ana’ i Maakà mpanjaka’ i Gate ty mpitoro’ i Simeý roe. Aa le natalily amy Simeý ty hoe: Inao e Gate añe i mpitoro’o rey.
Forsothe it was doon after thre yeer, that the seruauntis of Semei fledden to Achis, sone of Maacha, the kyng of Geth; and it was teld to Semey, that hise seruauntis hadden go in to Geth.
40 Niongak’ amy zao t’i Simeý nidiañe i borìke’ey, le nañavelo mb’e Akise e Gate añe nipay i mpitoro’e rey; nimb’eo t’i Simeý le nendese’e boake Gate i mpitoro’e rey.
And Semey roos, and sadlide his asse, and yede to Achis, in to Geth, to seke hise seruauntis; and brouyte hem ayen fro Geth.
41 Natalily amy Selomò te niavotse Ierosalaime t’i Simeý nomb’e Gate mb’eo vaho nimpoly.
Forsothe it was teld to kyng Salomon, that Semey hadde go to Geth fro Jerusalem, and hadde come ayen.
42 Aa le nampañitrife’ i mpanjakay naho kinoi’e t’i Simeý, le nanoa’e ty hoe: Tsy nampifantàko am’ Iehovà hao rehe, naho nañatahata azo ami’ty hoe: Mahafohina an-katò te ami’ty andro iavota’o vaho añaveloa’o añe le tsy mete tsy hikoromake? vaho hoe rehe tamako: Soa o entañe tsinanokoo.
And Salomon sente, and clepide hym, and seide to hym, Whether Y witnessede not to thee bi the Lord, and bifor seide to thee, In what euer dai thou schalt go out hidur and thidur, wite thou that thou schalt die; and thou answeridist to me, The word is good, which Y herde?
43 Aa vaho akore arè te tsy nambena’o i nifantà’o amy Iehovày, naho i lily namantohako azoy?
Whi therfor keptist thou not the ooth of the Lord, and the comaundement which Y comaundide to thee?
44 Tinovo’ i mpanjakay amy Simeý ty hoe: Fohi’o iaby ty haloloañe iantofan-tro’o, i nanoe’o an-draekoy; aa le habali’ Iehovà añambone’o o halò-tsere’oo.
And the kyng seide to Semei, Thou knowist al the yuel, of which thin herte is gilti to thee, which yuel thou didist to my fadir; the Lord hath yolde thi malice in to thin heed.
45 Fe ho tahie’e t’i Selomò mpanjaka, vaho hajadoñe añ’atrefa’ Iehovà kitro añ’ afe’e ty fiambesa’ i Davide.
And kyng Salomon schal be blessid; and the trone of Dauid schal be stable bifor the Lord til in to with outen ende.
46 Aa le nafanto’e amy Benaià, ana’ Iehoiada; niavotse re niambotrak’ ama’e le nivetrake. Nijadoñe am-pità’ i Selomò amy zao i fifeheañey.
Therfor the kyng comaundide to Banaie, sone of Joiada; and he assailide, and smoot Semey, and he was deed.
