< Job 24 >

1 “Efu ku God El tia oakiya sie pacl in nununku? Efu ku mwet ma oaru in oru lungse lal tiana liye Elan kai mwet koluk uh?
The times are not hidden from the Almighty; even those who know him, do not know his days.
2 “Mwet uh mokle masrol lalos in akyokye acn lalos uh; Ac pisre sheep uh in akyokye un sheep natulos sifacna.
Some have crossed the boundaries, plundered the flocks, and given them pasture.
3 Elos pisrala donkey nutin tulik mukaimtal uh, Ac sruokya ox nutin mutan katinmas uh, na soano elan molela soemoul lal.
They have driven away the donkey of orphans, and have taken the cow from the widow as collateral.
4 Elos ikol tuh mwet sukasrup in tia ku in eis suwohs lalos, Ac oru tuh mwet enenu in kaing ac wikla.
They have undermined the way of the poor, and have pressed together the meek of the earth.
5 “Ouinge mwet sukasrup elos suk mwe mongo nalos yen mwesis Oana donkey inima uh; Wangin acn elos ku in konauk mongo nun tulik natulos we.
Others, like wild asses in the desert, go forth to their work; by watching for prey, they obtain bread for their children.
6 Elos enenu in kosrani ke ima su tia ma lalos, Ac sifani grape ke ima lun mwet koluk.
They reap a field that is not their own, and they harvest a vineyard that they have taken by force.
7 Ke fong uh elos mihsrisr, mweyen wangin ma elos in kateya; Elos koflufol na motul.
They send men away naked, having taken the clothing of those who have no covering in the cold;
8 Elos ac wohlak na ke af ma kahkla fineol uh me, Ac lokeni oan sisken eot uh in lusrungulosyak.
these are wet with the mountain rain, and, having no covering, they embrace the rocks.
9 “Mwet koluk elos tulakunla tulik mukul fusr ma misa papa tuma liki nina kia, tuh elos in mwet foko lalos, Ac eis tulik nutin sie mwet sukasrup in akfalye soemoul lal.
They have used violence to deprive orphans, and they have robbed the poor common people.
10 A mwet sukasrup elos ac illa ac wangin nuknuk in karingin manolos; Elos ac masrinsral na ke elos telani fokin wheat uh.
From the naked and those who do not have enough clothing, and from the hungry, they have taken away sheaves of grain.
11 Elos fuleya olive in orek oil, ac grape in orek wain, A elos ac malu na.
They take their midday rest among the stockpiles of those who, though they have trodden the winepresses, suffer thirst.
12 Mwet kinet ac mwet apkuran in misa in siti uh elos wowoyak nu sin God, Tusruktu God El tiana porongo pre lalos.
In the cities, they caused the men to groan and the spirit of the wounded to cry out, and so God does not allow this to go unpunished.
13 “Oasr kutu mwet koluk ma kwase kalem uh; Elos nikin kalmeya, ac tia ke fahsr nu yen kalem uh kololos nu we.
They have been rebellious against the light; they have not known his ways, nor have they returned by his paths.
14 Ke tafun lotu uh, mwet akmas el illa In uniya mwet sukasrup uh, Ac ke fong uh, el som pisrapasr.
The killer of men rises at first light; he executes the destitute and the poor, but, in truth, he is like a thief in the night.
15 Sie mwet kosro el ac soano in tari ekela; El ac afinya mutal, mwet uh in tia akilenul.
The eye of the adulterer waits for darkness, saying, “No eye will see me,” and he covers his face.
16 Ke fong uh mwet pisrapasr elos ac sifacna utyak nu in lohm uh, A ke lenelik elos ac wikla ac tia lungse muta ke kalem uh.
He passes through houses in the nighttime, just as they had agreed among themselves in the daytime; and they are ignorant of the light.
17 Elos sangeng ke kalem lun len uh, A lohsr uh tiana aksangengyalos.”
If sunrise should suddenly appear, it is treated by them like the shadow of death; and they walk in darkness, as if in light.
18 “Sie mwet koluk ac fah pokyukla ke sronot uh, Ac acn sel fah selngawiyuki sin God; El ac tia sifil som orekma ke ima in grape lal uh.
He is nimble on the surface of water. His place on land is to be accursed. May he not walk by way of the vineyards.
19 Oana ke snow uh ac wanginla ke pacl fol ac ke pacl wangin af uh, Ouinge sie mwet koluk ac fah wanginla liki facl sin mwet moul uh. (Sheol h7585)
May he cross from the snowy waters to excessive heat, and his sin, all the way to hell. (Sheol h7585)
20 Finne nina kial uh, ac tia pac esamul; Wet uh ac kangulla, ac el musalla oana soko sak ma ikori.
Let mercy forget him. His charm is worms. Let him not be remembered, but instead be broken like an unfruitful tree.
21 Ma inge sikyak nu sel mweyen el akkeokye katinmas, Ac tia kulang nu sin mutan su wangin tulik natu.
For he has fed on the barren, who does not bear fruit, and he has not done good to the widow.
22 Ke ku lun God, El kunausla mwet funmwet; God El fin mukuila, mwet koluk sac ac misa.
He has pulled down the strong by his strength, and, when he stands up, he will not have trust in his life.
23 God El ku pac in oru tuh mwet sac in tia sun ongoiya, Tusruktu El ac taranna ma el oru pacl nukewa.
God has given him a place for repentance, and he abuses it with arrogance, but his eyes are upon his ways.
24 Mwet koluk se ku in sun wo ouiya ke kitin pacl, Na el ac uli oana soko mah wangin sripa, Oana sie sripin mahsrik ma pakpuki.
They are lifted up for a little while, but they will not continue, and they will be brought low, just like all things, and they will be taken away, and, like the tops of the ears of grain, they will be crushed.
25 Ya oasr mwet se ku in lafwekin mu tia ouinge? Oasr mwet ku in orek loh ac fahk mu kas luk inge tia pwaye?”
But, if this is not so, who is able to prove to me that I have lied and to place my words before God?
