< Abhaebrania 11 >

1 Woli elikilisha nikubha nechimali chinu anacho omunu omwanya gunu katendesha echinu chilebhe kwo kwisigilila. Nichimali che bhinu bhinu bhichali kubhonekana.
But faith is, of things hoped for, a confidence, of facts, a conviction, when they are not seen;
2 Kwa insonga inu bhajaji bheswe bhabhonekene ku lwelikilisha lyebhwe.
For, thereby, well-attested were the ancients.
3 Kwe likilisha echimenya ati echalo chamogelwe kwe chigambo cha Nyamuanga, koleleki chinu echibhonekana chitakolelwe ne chinu chinu chaliga nchibhonekana. (aiōn g165)
By faith, we understand the ages to have been fitted together, by declaration of God, —to the end that, not out of things appearing, should that which is seen, have come into existence. (aiōn g165)
4 Jabhee kwa insonga ye likisha ati Habili amusosisishe Nyamuanga ebhiyanwa bhinu bhyaliga bhiile okukila Kaini. Yabhee kwa insonga inu ati akuyibhwe kubha mulengelesi. Nyamuanga amukuyishe kulwainsonga ya bhinu asosishe. Kwa insonga eyo, Habili achali naloma, nolo kutyo afuye.
By faith, a fuller sacrifice, did Abel, offer unto God, than Cain, —through which, he received witness that he was righteous, there being a witnessing upon his gifts, by God; and, through it, though he died, he yet is speaking.
5 Jabhee kwe likilisha ati Enoko agegelwe ingulu na atabhonekene na lufu. “Atabhonekene, kwa insonga Nyamuanga amugegele” kwa insonga jaikilwe ingulu yae ati amukondelesishe Nyamuanga achali kugegwa okuja ingulu.
By faith, Enoch was translated, so as not to see death, and was not found, because that, God, had translated him; for, before the translation, he had received witness that he had become well-pleasing unto God; —
6 Jakabhee kutalio kwikilisha itakutulikana kumukondelesha Nyamuanga, kulwokubha unu kaja ku Nyamuanga nibhusibhusi ekilishe ati Nyamuanga alamile nati kabhayana ebhiyanwa bhanu abhamuyenja.
But, apart from faith, it is impossible to be well-pleasing; for he that approacheth unto God—must needs have faith, that he is, and that, to them who seek him out, a rewarder he becometh.
7 Yabhee kwe likilisha ati Nuhu, abhee aganyibhwe na Nyamuanga okulubhana na magambo ganu galiga gachali kubhonekana, kwe chibhalo che Nyamuanga akolele isafina koleleki akishe olwibhulo lwae. Kwo kukola kutyo, alamuye echalo nabha muli wo mwandu gwo bhulengelesi bhunu obhuja ingulu yo kwikilisha.

8 Kulwa likilisha, Ibraimu ejile abhilikilwa, nekilisha nagenda muchalo chinu chaliga chili mwandu gwaye. Afulukile obhutamenya eyo ajaga.

9 Kulwa likilisha nekala muchalo cho omulago ali mugenyiNekala mumauna Ali na Isaka na Yakobo, abhali bho omwandu guliya.
By faith, he sojourned in the land of promise, as a foreign land, in tents, dwelling, along with Isaac and Jacob, the joint-heirs of the same promise;
10 Kulwokubha aliga neikanya okubhona omusi gunu omumbaki wagwo ni Nyamuanga ala enyele.
For he was awaiting the city having foundations, whose architect and builder is, God.
11 Jaliga jili kwe elikilisha, Ibraimu, na Sara omwene, bhalamiye amanaga ago kugega inda nolwo kutyo bhaliga bhakokoye muno, kulwokubha bhabhwene ati Nyamuanga niwe echimali, okubha aliga abhalagile omwana we echilume.

Wherefore, even from one, were born, and, as to these things, one who had become dead, —like the stars of the heaven, for multitude, and as the sand that is by the lip of the sea, that cannot be numbered.
13 Bhanu bhone bhafuye bhali mulikilisha bhatolele omulago. Nawe bhagubhwene guli kula, bhaliga bhamenyele ati ni bhatusi na bhagenyi muchalo echo.
In faith, all these died—not bearing away the promises, but, from afar, beholding and saluting them, and confessing that, strangers and sojourners, were they upon the land.
14 Kubhanu abheganilisha kutiyo abhatula abhwelu ati abhalonda echalo chebhwe.
For, they who such things as these are saying, make it clear that, of a paternal home they are in quest;
15 Bhachisanga bhacheganilisha echalo chinu bhasokele, bhakabhwene omwanya gwo okusubhayo.
And, if indeed of that they had been mindful, from which they had come out, they might, in that case, have had an opportunity, to return;
16 Nawe kutyo jili abhenda echalo cha kisi kuti cha mulwile. Kulwejo Nyamuanga atakwiswala okubhilikilwa Nyamuanga webhwe, kulwokubha abhelabhiye omusi gwebhe.
But, now, after a better one, are they reaching, that is, a heavenly; wherefore God is not ashamed of them, to be invoked as, their God, —for he hath prepared for them, a city.
17 Jaliga jili ati kwa likilisha Ibraimu ejile asakwa nasosya Isaka. Mbe chimali unu alamile omulago akondelewe, asosisye omwana waye nyagumwi,

Even him of whom it had been said—In Isaac, shall there be called to thee, a seed:
19 Ibraimu aliga name ya ati Nyamuanga alimwelula Isaka okusoka mubhafu, na kwa inyaika ye eminapi namulamila.
Accounting that, even from among the dead, God, was able, to raise [him], —whence, even in similitude, he bare him away.
20 Kwa likilisha Isaka ayanile libando Yakobo na Esau ingulu ya amagambo ganu galija.
By faith, even concerning things to come, did Isaac bless Jacob and Esau.
21 Jaliga jili ati kwa likilisha Yakobo alebheleye okufwa nayana amabhando abhana bha Yusufu. Yakobo nalamya, neyegeka ku nsimbo yaye.
By faith, Jacob, when about to die, blessed each of the sons of Joseph; and bowed in worship on the top of his staff.
22 Kulikilisha Yusufu munsiku jaye jokumalisha aikiliye ingulu ya abhana bha Israeli okusokamo muchalo cha Misiri na nabhalagilila okugega amawa gaye.
By faith, Joseph, when drawing to his end—concerning the exodus of the sons of Israel, called to remembrance, and, concerning his bones, gave commandment.
23 Kulikilisha, Musa ejie ebhulwa, abhebhusi bhaye nibhamuseleka kulwokubha aliga ali mwana mulela akondele, ka bhatobhayile ichilagilo cho omukama.

25 Nekilisha okubha mugaya lwa abhanu bha Nyamuanga, nasiga okwikondelesha mubhibhi kwo omwanya mufui.
Rather choosing—to be jointly suffering ill-treatment with the people of God, than, for a season, to be having, sins enjoyment;
26 Eganilisishe jinswalo jo okulubha Kristo bhubhe bhunibhi bhunene okukila ebhiyanwa bhya Misiri kulwokubha atunuye ameso gaye ku chiyanwa cho omwanya gwaye gunu oguja.
Accounting—as greater riches than Egypt’s treasures, the reproach of the Anointed One; for he was looking away unto the recompense.
27 Kulwejo elikilisha asokelemo muchalo cha Misiri. Atobhaile ubhululu bhwa omukama Farao, kulwokubha ekomesishe neikanya okubhonana na unu aliga atakubhonekana.
By faith, he forsook Egypt—not put in fear of the wrath of the king; for, as seeing him who cannot be seen, he persevered.
28 Kulwe elikilisha agwatiliye Ipasaka no kusamulila amanyinga, koleleki omwiti wo omwibhulwa wokwamba, atagwatako abhebhulwa bhokwamba abhechilume abhe Echisraeli.
By faith, he hath kept the passover and the besmearing of the blood, lest, he that was destroying the first-born, should be touching them.
29 Kulwe elikilisha bhalabhile agati ya inyanja ya Shamu lwakutyo abhatula muchalo chinu chumile. Abhamisiri bhejile bhalegeja okutulamo, nibhamilwa.

32 Naikeki okukila kutyo? Kulwokubha omwanya gutakwiya okusimula aga Gideoni, Barak, Samsoni, Yeftha, Daudi, Samwel ne ja bhalagi,
And what more can I say? For, time, will fail me while I go on telling—concerning Gideon, Barak, Sampson, Jephthah, David also, and Samuel, and the prophets, —
33 bhanu okulabha ku likilisha bhasingile amakama, bhakolele obhulengelesi, na bhalamiye omulago. Bhaganyishe eminwa ja jintale,
Who, through faith—prevailed in contest over kingdoms, wrought righteousness, attained unto promises, shut the mouths of lions,
34 bhasimishe amanaga go mulilo, bhebhejishe insonde ya imalo, bhaosibhwe amalwaye, bhaiga bhali bhakaka mubhulemo, na bhakolele ebhiijo bhya abhasilikale okusoka anja ye chalo chebhwe nibhibhilima.
Quenched the power of fire, escaped the mouths of the sword, were made powerful from weakness, became mighty in battle, overturned, camps of aliens;
35 Abhagasi bhalamiye abhafuye bhebhwe munjila yo bhusuluko.
Women received, by resurrection, their dead; but, others, were put to the rack, not accepting redemption, that, unto a better resurrection, they might attain:
36 Abhandi bhanyansibhwe, obhutekilisibhwa okusigwa nibhetanya koleleki bhabhone okubhona obhusuluko bhunu bhuli bhwakisi muno. Abhandi bhanyansibhwe kwo kujimibhwa no kwokuchapwa, nakwokubhoywa nokutulwa mumabhoelo.
Others, again, of mockings and scourgings, received trial, nay! further, of bonds and imprisonments:
37 Bhabhumilwe na mabhui. Bhatemelwe bhiinju ne misumeno. Bhetilwe kwe bhigwato. Bhagendaga kwa jinjai ja jinyabhalega na jinjayi ja jimbusi bhaliga bhalibhakene, bhagendelee mubhusasi na bhakolewe kubhibhi
They were stoned, were pierced through, were sawn asunder, by murder, with a sword, died, went about in sheep-skins, in goat-hides, —being in want, suffering tribulation, enduring ill-treatment:
38 (ganu echalo chaliga chiteile okolelwa abho), nibhayengela yengela mwibhala, mubhima, na mumananga na mumobho ga ansi.
Of whom the world, was not worthy—upon deserts, wandering, and mountains, and in caves, —and in the caverns of the earth.

And, these all, though they obtained witness through their faith, yet bare not away, the promise:

God, for us, something better providing, —that, not apart from us, should they be made, perfect.
