ヨハネの黙示録 22
1 御使いはまた、私に水晶のように光るいのちの水の川を見せた。それは神と小羊との御座から出て、
And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
2 都の大通りの中央を流れていた。川の両岸には、いのちの木があって、十二種の実がなり、毎月、実ができた。また、その木の葉は諸国の民をいやした。
In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
3 もはや、のろわれるものは何もない。神と小羊との御座が都の中にあって、そのしもべたちは神に仕え、
And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:
4 神の御顔を仰ぎ見る。また、彼らの額には神の名がついている。
And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.
And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God gives them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever. (aiōn g165)
6 御使いはまた私に、「これらのことばは、信ずべきものであり、真実なのです。」と言った。預言者たちのたましいの神である主は、その御使いを遣わし、すぐに起こるべき事を、そのしもべたちに示そうとされたのである。
And he said unto me, These sayings (logos) are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to show unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.
7 「見よ。わたしはすぐに来る。この書の預言のことばを堅く守る者は、幸いである。」
Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keeps the sayings (logos) of the prophecy of this book.
8 これらのことを聞き、また見たのは私ヨハネである。私が聞き、また見たとき、それらのことを示してくれた御使いの足もとに、ひれ伏して拝もうとした。
And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which showed me these things.
9 すると、彼は私に言った。「やめなさい。私は、あなたや、あなたの兄弟である預言者たちや、この書のことばを堅く守る人々と同じしもべです。神を拝みなさい。」
Then says he unto me, See you do it not: for I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings (logos) of this book: worship God.
10 また、彼は私に言った。「この書の預言のことばを封じてはいけない。時が近づいているからである。
And he says unto me, Seal not the sayings (logos) of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.
11 不正を行なう者はますます不正を行ない、汚れた者はますます汚れを行ないなさい。正しい者はいよいよ正しいことを行ない、きよい者はいよいよきよきことを行ないなさい。」
He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.
12 「見よ。わたしはすぐに来る。わたしはそれぞれのしわざに応じて報いるために、わたしの報いを携えて来る。
And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
13 わたしはアルファであり、オメガである。最初であり、最後である。初めであり、終わりである。」
I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
14 自分の着物を洗って、いのちの木の実を食べる権利を与えられ、門を通って都にはいれるようになる者は、幸いである。
Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
15 犬ども、魔術を行なう者、不品行の者、人殺し、偶像を拝む者、好んで偽りを行なう者はみな、外に出される。
For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loves and makes a lie.
16 「わたし、イエスは御使いを遣わして、諸教会について、これらのことをあなたがたにあかしした。わたしはダビデの根、また子孫、輝く明けの明星である。」
I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.
17 御霊も花嫁も言う。「来てください。」これを聞く者は、「来てください。」と言いなさい。渇く者は来なさい。いのちの水がほしい者は、それをただで受けなさい。
And the Spirit (pneuma) and the bride say, Come. And let him that hears say, Come. And let him that is thirsty come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
18 私は、この書の預言のことばを聞くすべての者にあかしする。もし、これにつけ加える者があれば、神はこの書に書いてある災害をその人に加えられる。
For I testify unto every man that hears the words (logos) of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
19 また、この預言の書のことばを少しでも取り除く者があれば、神は、この書に書いてあるいのちの木と聖なる都から、その人の受ける分を取り除かれる。
And if any man shall take away from the words (logos) of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
20 これらのことをあかしする方がこう言われる。「しかり。わたしはすぐに来る。」アーメン。主イエスよ、来てください。
He which testifies these things says, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
21 主イエスの恵みがすべての者とともにあるように。アーメン。
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
