ユダの手紙 1
1 イエス・キリストのしもべであり、ヤコブの兄弟であるユダから、父なる神にあって愛され、イエス・キリストのために守られている、召された方々へ。
Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called:
2 どうか、あわれみと平安と愛が、あなたがたの上に、ますます豊かにされますように。
Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, (agape) be multiplied.
3 愛する人々。私はあなたがたに、私たちがともに受けている救いについて手紙を書こうとして、あらゆる努力をしていましたが、聖徒にひとたび伝えられた信仰のために戦うよう、あなたがたに勧める手紙を書く必要が生じました。
Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was necessary for me to write unto you, and exhort you that all of you should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
4 というのは、ある人々が、ひそかに忍び込んで来たからです。彼らは、このようなさばきに会うと昔から前もってしるされている人々で、不敬虔な者であり、私たちの神の恵みを放縦に変えて、私たちの唯一の支配者であり主であるイエス・キリストを否定する人たちです。
For there are certain men crept in unexpectedly, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
5 あなたがたは、すべてのことをすっかり知っているにしても、私はあなたがたに思い出させたいことがあるのです。それは主が、民をエジプトの地から救い出し、次に、信じない人々を滅ぼされたということです。
I will therefore put you in remembrance, though all of you once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.
And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. (aïdios g126)
Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. (aiōnios g166)
8 それなのに、この人たちもまた同じように、夢見る者であり、肉体を汚し、権威ある者を軽んじ、栄えある者をそしっています。
Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.
9 御使いのかしらミカエルは、モーセのからだについて、悪魔と論じ、言い争ったとき、あえて相手をののしり、さばくようなことはせず、「主があなたを戒めてくださるように。」と言いました。
Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke you.
10 しかし、この人たちは、自分には理解もできないことをそしり、わきまえのない動物のように、本能によって知るような事がらの中で滅びるのです。
But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.
11 忌まわしいことです。彼らは、カインの道を行き、利益のためにバラムの迷いに陥り、コラのようにそむいて滅びました。
Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.
12 彼らは、あなたがたの愛餐のしみです。恐れげもなくともに宴を張りますが、自分だけを養っている者であり、風に吹き飛ばされる、水のない雲、実を結ばない、枯れに枯れて、根こそぎにされた秋の木、
These are spots in your feasts of love, (agape) when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withers, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;
Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever. (aiōn g165)
14 アダムから七代目のエノクも、彼らについて預言してこう言っています。「見よ。主は千万の聖徒を引き連れて来られる。
And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of his saints,
15 すべての者にさばきを行ない、不敬虔な者たちの、神を恐れずに犯した行為のいっさいと、また神を恐れない罪人どもが主に言い逆らった無礼のいっさいとについて、彼らを罪に定めるためである。」
To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
16 彼らはぶつぶつ言う者、不平を鳴らす者で、自分の欲望のままに歩んでいます。その口は大きなことを言い、利益のためにへつらって人をほめるのです。
These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaks great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage.
17 愛する人々よ。私たちの主イエス・キリストの使徒たちが、前もって語ったことばを思い起こしてください。
But, beloved, remember all of you the words (rhema) which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;
18 彼らはあなたがたにこう言いました。「終わりの時には、自分の不敬虔な欲望のままにふるまう、あざける者どもが現われる。」
How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.
19 この人たちは、御霊を持たず、分裂を起こし、生まれつきのままの人間です。
These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit. (pneuma)
20 しかし、愛する人々よ。あなたがたは、自分の持っている最もきよい信仰の上に自分自身を築き上げ、聖霊によって祈り、
But all of you, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, (pneuma)
Keep yourselves in the love (agape) of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
22 疑いを抱く人々をあわれみ、
And of some have compassion, making a difference:
23 火の中からつかみ出して救い、またある人々を、恐れを感じながらあわれみ、肉によって汚されたその下着さえも忌みきらいなさい。
And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.
24 あなたがたを、つまずかないように守ることができ、傷のない者として、大きな喜びをもって栄光の御前に立たせることのできる方に、
Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
