ヨハネの黙示録 19

1 この後、私は、天に大群衆の大きい声のようなものが、こう言うのを聞いた。 「ハレルヤ。救い、栄光、力は、われらの神のもの。

And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God:

2 神のさばきは真実で、正しいからである。神は不品行によって地を汚した大淫婦をさばき、ご自分のしもべたちの血の報復を彼女にされたからである。」

For true and righteous are his judgments: for he has judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and has avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.

3 彼らは再び言った。「ハレルヤ。彼女の煙は永遠に立ち上る。」 (aiōn g165)

And again they said, Alleluia And her smoke rose up for ever and ever. (aiōn g165)

4 すると、二十四人の長老と四つの生き物はひれ伏し、御座についておられる神を拝んで、「アーメン。ハレルヤ。」と言った。

And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God that sat on the throne, saying, Amen; Alleluia.

5 また、御座から声が出て言った。 「すべての、神のしもべたち。小さい者も大きい者も、神を恐れかしこむ者たちよ。われらの神を賛美せよ。」

And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all you his servants, and all of you that fear him, both small and great.

6 また、私は大群衆の声、大水の音、激しい雷鳴のようなものが、こう言うのを聞いた。 「ハレルヤ。万物の支配者である、われらの神である主は王となられた。

And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigns.

7 私たちは喜び楽しみ、神をほめたたえよう。小羊の婚姻の時が来て、花嫁はその用意ができたのだから。

Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his wife has made herself ready.

8 花嫁は、光り輝く、きよい麻布の衣を着ることを許された。その麻布とは、聖徒たちの正しい行ないである。」

And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

9 御使いは私に「小羊の婚宴に招かれた者は幸いだ、と書きなさい。」と言い、また、「これは神の真実のことばです。」と言った。

And he says unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he says unto me, These are the true sayings (logos) of God.

10 そこで、私は彼を拝もうとして、その足もとにひれ伏した。すると、彼は私に言った。「いけません。私は、あなたや、イエスのあかしを堅く保っているあなたの兄弟たちと同じしもべです。神を拝みなさい。イエスのあかしは預言の霊です。」

And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See you do it not: I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit (pneuma) of prophecy.

11 また、私は開かれた天を見た。見よ。白い馬がいる。それに乗った方は、「忠実また真実。」と呼ばれる方であり、義をもってさばきをし、戦いをされる。

And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he does judge and make war.

12 その目は燃える炎であり、その頭には多くの王冠があって、ご自身のほかだれも知らない名が書かれていた。

His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.

13 その方は血に染まった衣を着ていて、その名は「神のことば」と呼ばれた。

And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word (logos) of God.

14 天にある軍勢はまっ白な、きよい麻布を着て、白い馬に乗って彼につき従った。

And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

15 この方の口からは諸国の民を打つために、鋭い剣が出ていた。この方は、鉄の杖をもって彼らを牧される。この方はまた、万物の支配者である神の激しい怒りの酒ぶねを踏まれる。

And out of his mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it he should strike the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

16 その着物にも、ももにも、「王の王、主の主。」という名が書かれていた。

And he has on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

17 また私は、太陽の中にひとりの御使いが立っているのを見た。彼は大声で叫び、中天を飛ぶすべての鳥に言った。「さあ、神の大宴会に集まり、

And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;

18 王の肉、千人隊長の肉、勇者の肉、馬とそれに乗る者の肉、すべての自由人と奴隷、小さい者と大きい者の肉を食べよ。」

That all of you may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.

19 また私は、獣と地上の王たちとその軍勢が集まり、馬に乗った方とその軍勢と戦いを交えるのを見た。

And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.

20 すると、獣は捕えられた。また、獣の前でしるしを行ない、それによって獣の刻印を受けた人々と獣の像を拝む人々とを惑わしたあのにせ預言者も、彼といっしょに捕えられた。そして、このふたりは、硫黄の燃えている火の池に、生きたままで投げ込まれた。 (Limnē Pyr g3041 g4442)

And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. (Limnē Pyr g3041 g4442)

21 残りの者たちも、馬に乗った方の口から出る剣によって殺され、すべての鳥が、彼らの肉を飽きるほどに食べた。

And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.
