ヨハネの黙示録 14
1 また私は見た。見よ。小羊がシオンの山の上に立っていた。また小羊とともに十四万四千人の人たちがいて、その額には小羊の名と、小羊の父の名とがしるしてあった。
And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads.
2 私は天からの声を聞いた。大水の音のようで、また、激しい雷鳴のようであった。また、私の聞いたその声は、立琴をひく人々が立琴をかき鳴らしている音のようでもあった。
And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:
3 彼らは、御座の前と、四つの生き物および長老たちの前とで、新しい歌を歌った。しかし地上から贖われた十四万四千人のほかには、だれもこの歌を学ぶことができなかった。
And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.
4 彼らは女によって汚されたことのない人々である。彼らは童貞なのである。彼らは、小羊が行く所には、どこにでもついて行く。彼らは、神および小羊にささげられる初穂として、人々の中から贖われたのである。
These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb anywhere he goes. These were redeemed from among men, being the first-fruits unto God and to the Lamb.
5 彼らの口には偽りがなかった。彼らは傷のない者である。
And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.
And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, (aiōnios g166)
7 彼は大声で言った。「神を恐れ、神をあがめよ。神のさばきの時が来たからである。天と地と海と水の源を創造した方を拝め。」
Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment has come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
8 また、第二の、別の御使いが続いてやって来て、言った。「大バビロンは倒れた。倒れた。激しい御怒りを引き起こすその不品行のぶどう酒を、すべての国々の民に飲ませた者。」
And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.
9 また、第三の、別の御使いも、彼らに続いてやって来て、大声で言った。「もし、だれでも、獣とその像を拝み、自分の額か手かに刻印を受けるなら、
And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
10 そのような者は、神の怒りの杯に混ぜ物なしに注がれた神の怒りのぶどう酒を飲む。また、聖なる御使いたちと小羊との前で、火と硫黄とで苦しめられる。
The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
And the smoke of their torment ascends up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receives the mark of his name. (aiōn g165)
12 神の戒めを守り、イエスに対する信仰を持ち続ける聖徒たちの忍耐はここにある。」
Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
13 また私は、天からこう言っている声を聞いた。「書きしるせ。『今から後、主にあって死ぬ死者は幸いである。』」御霊も言われる。「しかり。彼らはその労苦から解き放されて休むことができる。彼らの行ないは彼らについて行くからである。」
And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, says the Spirit, (pneuma) that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.
14 また、私は見た。見よ。白い雲が起こり、その雲に人の子のような方が乗っておられた。頭には金の冠をかぶり、手には鋭いかまを持っておられた。
And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.
15 すると、もうひとりの御使いが聖所から出て来て、雲に乗っておられる方に向かって大声で叫んだ。「かまを入れて刈り取ってください。地の穀物は実ったので、取り入れる時が来ましたから。」
And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in your sickle, and reap: for the time has come for you to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.
16 そこで、雲に乗っておられる方が、地にかまを入れると地は刈り取られた。
And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.
17 また、もうひとりの御使いが、天の聖所から出て来たが、この御使いも、鋭いかまを持っていた。
And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.
18 すると、火を支配する権威を持ったもうひとりの御使いが、祭壇から出て来て、鋭いかまを持つ御使いに大声で叫んで言った。「その鋭いかまを入れ、地のぶどうのふさを刈り集めよ。ぶどうはすでに熟しているのだから。」
And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in your sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.
19 そこで御使いは地にかまを入れ、地のぶどうを刈り集めて、神の激しい怒りの大きな酒ぶねに投げ入れた。
And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.
20 その酒ぶねは都の外で踏まれたが、血は、その酒ぶねから流れ出て、馬のくつわに届くほどになり、千六百スタディオンに広がった。
And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.
