ガラテヤ人への手紙 6
1 第二項 特別の勧告 兄弟等よ、人若誘はれて過つ事ありとも、汝等は霊に導かるる者なれば、己も亦誘はるる事あるべきを省みて、柔和なる精神を以て之を改善せしめよ。
Brethren, if a man be overtaken in any fault, do ye, who are spiritual, restore such a one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, least thou also shouldst be tempted.
2 汝等は互の荷を負へ、然らばキリストの律法を全うすべし。
Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
3 蓋人何者にも非ざるに、何者かなりと思ふは自ら欺くなり。
For if any one thinketh that he is something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.
4 各己が行状を試し見よ、然らば他人に對して誇らず、己のみによりて誇るならん、
But let every one try his own work, and then he will have matter of glorying in himself alone, and not in another.
5 其は人各己が荷を負ふべければなり。
For every one shall bear his own burthen.
6 教を學ぶ人は、學ばしむる人に一切の所有物の内を分與へよ。
And let him, that is instructed in the word, communicate in all good things to him that instructeth.
7 自ら欺く勿れ、神は侮られ給ふものに非ず、人は其撒きし所を刈取らん、
Be not deceived, God is not to be mocked: for whatever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
He then, who soweth to his flesh, shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he, that soweth to the Spirit, shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. (aiōnios g166)
9 我等は善を為すに倦むべからず、其は時機至らば、倦まずして刈取るべければなり。
And let us not be weary in doing good: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
10 然れば暇ある間は、我等は衆人特に信仰の家人に善を為すべし。
And therefore as we have opportunity, let us do good to all men, but especially to those who are of the houshold of faith.
11 結末 看よ、我手づから如何なる大字にて汝等に書贈れるかを。
Ye see in how large letters I have written to you with my own hand.
12 凡肉に於て人心を獲んと欲する人は、強ひて汝等に割禮を受けしむ、是唯キリストの十字架によりて迫害を受けざらん為のみ。
They, who want to make a fair appearance in the flesh, would constrain you to be circumcised; only that they may not be persecuted for the cross of Christ.
13 斯く割禮を受くる人々が、自ら律法を守らずして汝等に割禮を受けしめんとするは、汝等の肉身に就きて誇らん為なり。
For they, who are circumcised, do not themselves keep the law: but they would have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh.
14 我は我主イエズス、キリストの十字架に於ての外は決して誇る事なかるべし。彼を以て世は我に取りて十字架に釘けられたるものにして、我が世に於るも亦然り。
But God forbid that I should glory, unless in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified to me, and I to the world.
15 蓋キリスト、イエズスに於て價値あるは、割禮に非ず無割禮に非ず、新なる被造物なり。
For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but being created anew.
16 誰にもあれ、此法に從へる人々の上に、冀はくは平安と慈悲とあれかし、神のイスラエルの上にも亦然あれかし。
And as many as shall walk according to this rule, peace and mercy be on them, even upon all the Israel of God.
17 今より後誰も我を煩はすべからず、其は我主イエズスの傷痕を身に負へばなり。
For the future, let no one give me uneasiness: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.
18 兄弟等よ、願はくは我主イエズス、キリストの恩寵、汝等の霊と共に在らん事を、アメン。
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, my brethren. Amen.
