詩篇 23

1 ダビデの歌 主はわたしの牧者であって、わたしには乏しいことがない。

A Melody of David. Yahweh, is my shepherd—I shall not want:

2 主はわたしを緑の牧場に伏させ、いこいのみぎわに伴われる。

In pastures of tender grass, he maketh me lie down, Unto restful waters, he leadeth me;

3 主はわたしの魂をいきかえらせ、み名のためにわたしを正しい道に導かれる。

My life, he restoreth, He guideth me in right paths, for the sake of his Name.

4 たといわたしは死の陰の谷を歩むとも、わざわいを恐れません。あなたがわたしと共におられるからです。あなたのむちと、あなたのつえはわたしを慰めます。

Yea, though I walk through a valley death-shadowed, I will fear no harm, for, thou, art with me, Thy rod and thy staff, they, comfort me.

5 あなたはわたしの敵の前で、わたしの前に宴を設け、わたしのこうべに油をそそがれる。わたしの杯はあふれます。

Thou spreadest before me a table, in face of mine adversaries, Thou hast anointed, with oil, my head, My cup, hath run over.

6 わたしの生きているかぎりは必ず恵みといつくしみとが伴うでしょう。わたしはとこしえに主の宮に住むでしょう。

Surely, goodness and lovingkindness, will pursue me, all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of Yahweh, evermore.
