詩篇 103
1 ダビデの歌 わがたましいよ、主をほめよ。わがうちなるすべてのものよ、その聖なるみ名をほめよ。
Bless Jehovah, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
2 わがたましいよ、主をほめよ。そのすべてのめぐみを心にとめよ。
Bless Jehovah, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits,
3 主はあなたのすべての不義をゆるし、あなたのすべての病をいやし、
who forgives all thine iniquities, who heals all thy diseases,
4 あなたのいのちを墓からあがないいだし、いつくしみと、あわれみとをあなたにこうむらせ、
who redeems thy life from destruction, who crowns thee with loving kindness and tender mercies,
5 あなたの生きながらえるかぎり、良き物をもってあなたを飽き足らせられる。こうしてあなたは若返って、わしのように新たになる。
who satisfies thy desire with good things, and thy youth is renewed like the eagle.
6 主はすべてしえたげられる者のために正義と公正とを行われる。
Jehovah executes righteous acts, and judgments for all who are oppressed.
7 主はおのれの道をモーセに知らせ、おのれのしわざをイスラエルの人々に知らせられた。
He made known his ways to Moses, his doings to the sons of Israel.
8 主はあわれみに富み、めぐみふかく、怒ること遅く、いつくしみ豊かでいらせられる。
Jehovah is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness.
9 主は常に責めることをせず、また、とこしえに怒りをいだかれない。
He will not always chide, nor will he keep it forever.
10 主はわれらの罪にしたがってわれらをあしらわず、われらの不義にしたがって報いられない。
He has not dealt with us according to our sins, nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
11 天が地よりも高いように、主がおのれを恐れる者に賜わるいつくしみは大きい、
For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is his loving kindness toward those who fear him.
12 東が西から遠いように、主はわれらのとがをわれらから遠ざけられる。
As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.
13 父がその子供をあわれむように、主はおのれを恐れる者をあわれまれる。
Like as a father pities his sons, So Jehovah pities those who fear him.
14 主はわれらの造られたさまを知り、われらのちりであることを覚えていられるからである。
For he knows our frame. He remembers that we are dust.
15 人は、そのよわいは草のごとく、その栄えは野の花にひとしい。
As for man, his days are as grass, as a flower of the field, so he flourishes.
16 風がその上を過ぎると、うせて跡なく、その場所にきいても、もはやそれを知らない。
For the wind passes over it, and it is gone, and the place thereof shall know it no more.
17 しかし主のいつくしみは、とこしえからとこしえまで、主を恐れる者の上にあり、その義は子らの子に及び、
But the loving kindness of Jehovah is from everlasting to everlasting upon those who fear him, and his righteousness to son's sons,
18 その契約を守り、その命令を心にとめて行う者にまで及ぶ。
to such as keep his covenant, and to those who remember his precepts to do them.
19 主はその玉座を天に堅くすえられ、そのまつりごとはすべての物を統べ治める。
Jehovah has established his throne in the heavens, and his kingdom rules over all.
20 主の使たちよ、そのみ言葉の声を聞いて、これを行う勇士たちよ、主をほめまつれ。
Bless Jehovah, ye his agents, who are mighty in strength, who fulfill his word, hearkening to the voice of his word.
21 そのすべての万軍よ、そのみこころを行うしもべたちよ、主をほめよ。
Bless Jehovah, all ye his hosts, ye ministers of his, who do his pleasure.
22 主が造られたすべての物よ、そのまつりごとの下にあるすべての所で、主をほめよ。わがたましいよ、主をほめよ。
Bless Jehovah, all ye his works in all places of his dominion. Bless Jehovah, O my soul.
