レビ記 24
1 主はまたモーセに言われた、
And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,
2 「イスラエルの人々に命じて、オリブを砕いて採った純粋の油を、ともしびのためにあなたの所へ持ってこさせ、絶えずともしびをともさせなさい。
Command the children of Israel that they bring unto thee pure beaten olive oil for the light, to light the lamp continually.
3 すなわち、アロンは会見の幕屋のうちのあかしの垂幕の外で、夕から朝まで絶えず、そのともしびを主の前に整えなければならない。これはあなたがたが代々ながく守るべき定めである。
Outside the veil of the testimony, in the tent of meeting, shall Aaron dress it from evening to morning before Jehovah continually: [it is] an everlasting statute throughout your generations.
4 彼は純金の燭台の上に、そのともしびを絶えず主の前に整えなければならない。
Upon the pure candlestick shall he arrange the lamps before Jehovah continually.
5 あなたは麦粉を取り、それで十二個の菓子を焼かなければならない。菓子一個に麦粉十分の二エパを用いなければならない。
And thou shalt take fine wheaten flour, and bake twelve cakes thereof; each cake shall be of two tenths.
6 そしてそれを主の前の純金の机の上に、ひと重ね六個ずつ、ふた重ねにして置かなければならない。
And thou shalt set them in two rows, six in a row, upon the pure table before Jehovah.
7 あなたはまた、おのおのの重ねの上に、純粋の乳香を置いて、そのパンの記念の分とし、主にささげて火祭としなければならない。
And thou shalt put pure frankincense upon each row; and it shall be a bread of remembrance, an offering by fire to Jehovah.
8 安息日ごとに絶えず、これを主の前に整えなければならない。これはイスラエルの人々のささぐべきものであって、永遠の契約である。
Every sabbath day he shall arrange it before Jehovah continually, on the part of the children of Israel: [it is] an everlasting covenant.
9 これはアロンとその子たちに帰する。彼らはこれを聖なる所で食べなければならない。これはいと聖なる物であって、主の火祭のうち彼に帰すべき永久の分である」。
And it shall be Aaron's and his sons'; and they shall eat it in a holy place; for it is most holy unto him of Jehovah's offerings by fire: [it is] an everlasting statute.
10 イスラエルの女を母とし、エジプトびとを父とするひとりの者が、イスラエルの人々のうちに出てきて、そのイスラエルの女の産んだ子と、ひとりのイスラエルびとが宿営の中で争いをし、
And the son of an Israelitish woman — but withal the son of an Egyptian, — went out among the children of Israel; and this son of the Israelitess and a man of Israel strove together in the camp;
11 そのイスラエルの女の産んだ子が主の名を汚して、のろったので、人々は彼をモーセのもとに連れてきた。その母はダンの部族のデブリの娘で、名をシロミテといった。
and the Israelitish woman's son blasphemed the Name, and cursed; and they brought him to Moses. And his mother's name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan.
12 人々は彼を閉じ込めて置いて、主の示しを受けるのを待っていた。
And they confined him, that they might decide at the mouth of Jehovah.
13 時に主はモーセに言われた、
And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,
14 「あの、のろいごとを言った者を宿営の外に引き出し、それを聞いた者に、みな手を彼の頭に置かせ、全会衆に彼を石で撃たせなさい。
Lead the reviler outside the camp; and all that heard [him] shall lay their hands upon his head, and the whole assembly shall stone him.
15 あなたはまたイスラエルの人々に言いなさい、『だれでも、その神をのろう者は、その罪を負わなければならない。
And thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, saying, Every one when he revileth his God shall bear his sin.
16 主の名を汚す者は必ず殺されるであろう。全会衆は必ず彼を石で撃たなければならない。他国の者でも、この国に生れた者でも、主の名を汚すときは殺されなければならない。
And he that blasphemeth the name of Jehovah shall certainly be put to death; all the assembly shall certainly stone him; as well the stranger as he that is home-born, when he blasphemeth the Name, shall be put to death.
17 だれでも、人を撃ち殺した者は、必ず殺されなければならない。
And if any one smiteth any man mortally, he shall certainly be put to death.
18 獣を撃ち殺した者は、獣をもってその獣を償わなければならない。
And he that smiteth a beast mortally shall make it good, life for life.
19 もし人が隣人に傷を負わせるなら、その人は自分がしたように自分にされなければならない。
And if a man cause a blemish in his neighbour, as he hath done, so shall it be done to him;
20 すなわち、骨折には骨折、目には目、歯には歯をもって、人に傷を負わせたように、自分にもされなければならない。
breach for breach, eye for eye, tooth for tooth: as he hath caused a blemish in a man, so shall it be done to him.
21 獣を撃ち殺した者はそれを償い、人を撃ち殺した者は殺されなければならない。
He that smiteth a beast [mortally] shall make it good; and he that smiteth a man [mortally] shall be put to death.
22 他国の者にも、この国に生れた者にも、あなたがたは同一のおきてを用いなければならない。わたしはあなたがたの神、主だからである』」。
Ye shall have one law: as the stranger, so the home-born; for I am Jehovah your God.
23 モーセがイスラエルの人々に向かい、「あの、のろいごとを言った者を宿営の外に引き出し、石で撃て」と命じたので、イスラエルの人々は、主がモーセに命じられたようにした。
And Moses spoke to the children of Israel; and they led the reviler outside the camp and stoned him with stones. And the children of Israel did as Jehovah had commanded Moses.
