エゼキエル書 25
1 主の言葉がわたしに臨んだ、
And the word of Yahweh came unto me, saying:
2 「人の子よ、あなたの顔をアンモンの人々に向け、これに向かって預言し、
Son of man Set thy face against the sons of Ammon, — and prophesy against them.
3 アンモンの人々に言え。主なる神の言葉を聞け。主なる神はこう言われる、あなたはわが聖所の汚された時、またイスラエルの地の荒された時、またユダの家が捕え移された時、ああ、それはよい気味であると言った。
So then thou shalt say to the sons of Ammon, Hear ye the word of My Lord Yahweh: Thus, saith My Lord. Yahweh: Because thou saidst Aha! Against my sanctuary when it was profaned. And against the soil of Israel when it was laid waste, And against the house of Judah when they went into exile.
4 それゆえ、わたしはあなたを、東の人々に渡して彼らの所有とする。彼らはあなたのうちに陣営を設け、あなたのうちに住居を造り、あなたのくだものを食べ、あなたの乳を飲む。
Therefore, behold me! delivering thee up to the Sons of the East for a possession And they shall set their encampments in thee, And place in thee their habitations, They, shall eat thy fruits, And they, shall drink thy milk;
5 わたしはラバを、らくだを飼う所とし、アンモンびとの町々を、羊の伏す所とする。そしてあなたがたは、わたしが主であることを知るようになる。
And I will make of Rabbah a home for camels, And the sons of Ammon a couching-place for flocks, So shall ye know that, I, am Yahweh.
6 主なる神はこう言われる、あなたはイスラエルの地に向かって手をうち、足を踏み、心に悪意を満たして喜んだ。
For, thus, saith My Lord Yahweh, Because thou didst clap thy hands and stamp with thy foot, —and didst rejoice with all thy contempt in thy soul, against the soil of Israel.
7 それゆえ、見よ、わたしはわが手をあなたに向けて伸べ、あなたを、もろもろの国民に渡して略奪にあわせ、あなたを、もろもろの民の中から断ち、諸国の中から滅ぼし絶やす。そしてあなたは、わたしが主であることを知るようになる。
Therefore behold me! I have stretched out my hand over thee And will deliver thee for a prey to the nations, And will cut thee off from among the peoples, And will cause thee to perish from among the lands, — I will destroy thee, So shalt thou know that, I, am Yahweh.
8 主なる神はわたしにこう言われる、モアブは言った、見よ、ユダの家は、他のすべての国民と同様であると。
Thus saith My Lord Yahweh: Because Moab and Seir say, Lo! like all the nations, is the house of Judah.
9 それゆえ、わたしはモアブの境界の町々、すなわち国の栄えであるベテエシモテ、バアルメオン、キリアタイムの横腹を開き、
Therefore, behold me! laying open the side of Moab out of the cities, Out of his cities on his frontiers, The beauty of the land of Beth-jeshimoth, Baal-meon, and Kiriathaim:
10 これをアンモンの人々と共に、東方の人々に与えて、その所有とし、モアブの人々をもろもろの国民の中に記憶させない。
To the Sons of the East [when they come] against the sons of Ammon, and I will deliver it up for possession, -to the end the sons of Ammon may not be remembered among the nations:
11 わたしはモアブの上にさばきを行う。そのとき、彼らはわたしが主であることを知る。
Also upon Moab, will I execute judgments, - So shall they know that I, am Yahweh.
12 主なる神はこう言われる、エドムは恨みをふくんでユダの家に敵対し、これに恨みを返して、はなはだしく罪を犯した。
Thus, saith My Lord. Yahweh, Because of what Edom hath done, in taking vengeance on the house of Judah, so that they have become guilty again and again and have taken vengeance upon them,
13 それゆえ、主なる神はこう言われる、わたしはエドムの上に手を伸べて、その中から人と獣とを断ち、これを荒れ地とする。テマンからデダンまで人々はつるぎに倒れる。
Therefore, Thus, saith My Lord Yahweh, I will therefore stretch forth my hand over Edom, and will cut off therefrom man and beast, And will deliver it up as a desolation, from Teman, And they of Dedan, by the sword, shall fall,
14 わたしはわが民イスラエルの手をもって、エドムにわがあだを報いる。彼らがわが怒り、わが憤りに従ってエドムに行う時、エドムの人々は、わたしがあだを返すことを知るようになると、主なる神は言われる。
And I will put forth mine avenging against Edom, by the hand of my people Israel, And they shall deal with Edom, according to mine anger and according to mine indignation, - So shall they know mine avenging, Declareth My Lord. Yahweh,
15 主なる神はこう言われる、ペリシテびとは恨みをふくんで行動し、心に悪意をもってあだを返し、深い敵意をもって、滅ぼすことをした。
Thus saith My Lord Yahweh, Because of what the Philistines have done by way of vengeance, - In that they have taken vengeance with contempt in the soul, to destroy, with the enmity of age-past times.
16 それゆえ、主なる神はこう言われる、見よ、わたしは手をペリシテびとの上に伸べ、ケレテびとを断ち、海べの残りの者を滅ぼす。
Therefore, Thus, saith My Lord. Yahweh, Behold me! stretching forth my hand over the Philistines, And I will cut off the Cherethim, — And will cause to perish the remnant of the coast of the sea;
17 わたしは怒りに満ちた懲罰をもって、大いなる復讐を彼らになす。わたしが彼らにあだを返す時、彼らはわたしが主であることを知るようになる」。
And I will execute upon them great vengeance, with rebukes of indignation: shall they know that I am Yahweh, when I put forth mine avenging against them.
