< 申命記 33 >

1 神の人モーセその死る前にイスラエルの子孫を祝せりその祝せし言は是のごとし云く
This is the blessing with which Moses the man of God blessed the children of Israel before his death.
2 ヱホバ、シナイより來りセイルより彼らにむかひて昇りバランの山より光明を發ちて出で千萬の聖者の中間よりして格りたまへりその右の手には輝やける火ありき
He said, “The LORD came from Sinai, and rose from Seir to them. He shone from Mount Paran. He came from the ten thousands of holy ones. At his right hand was a fiery law for them.
3 ヱホバは民を愛したまふ其聖者は皆その手にあり皆その足下に坐りその言によりて起あがる
Yes, he loves the people. All his saints are in your hand. They sat down at your feet. Each receives your words.
4 モーセわれらに律法を命ぜり是はヤコブの會衆の產業たり
Moses commanded us a law, an inheritance for the assembly of Jacob.
5 民の首領等イスラエルの諸の支派あひ集れる時に彼はヱシユルンの中に王たりき
He was king in Jeshurun, when the heads of the people were gathered, all the tribes of Israel together.
6 ルベンは生ん死はせじ然どその人數は寡少ならん
“Let Reuben live, and not die; Nor let his men be few.”
7 ユダにつきては斯いふヱホバよユダの聲を聽きこれをその民に引かへしたまへ彼はその手をもて己のために戰はん願くは汝これを助けてその敵にあたらしめたまへ
This is for Judah. He said, “Hear, LORD, the voice of Judah. Bring him in to his people. With his hands he contended for himself. You shall be a help against his adversaries.”
8 レビについては言ふ汝のトンミムとウリムは汝の聖人に歸す汝かつてマツサにて彼を試みメリバの水の邊にてかれと爭へり
About Levi he said, “Your Thummim and your Urim are with your godly one, whom you proved at Massah, with whom you contended at the waters of Meribah.
9 彼はその父またはその母につきて言り我はこれを見ずと又彼は自己の兄弟を認ずまた自己の子等を顧みざりき是はなんぢの言に遵がひ汝の契約を守りてなり
He said of his father, and of his mother, ‘I have not seen him.’ He didn’t acknowledge his brothers, nor did he know his own children; for they have observed your word, and keep your covenant.
10 彼らは汝の式例をヤコブに敎へ汝の律法をイスラエルに敎へ又香を汝の鼻の前にそなへ燔祭を汝の壇の上にささぐ
They shall teach Jacob your ordinances, and Israel your law. They shall put incense before you, and whole burnt offering on your altar.
11 ヱホバよ彼の所有を祝し彼が手の作爲を悦こびて納れたまへ又起てこれに逆らふ者とこれを惡む者との腰を摧きて復起あがることあたはざらしめたまへ
LORD, bless his skills. Accept the work of his hands. Strike through the hips of those who rise up against him, of those who hate him, that they not rise again.”
12 ベニヤミンについては言ふヱホバの愛する者安然にヱホバとともにあり日々にその庇護をかうむりてその肩の間に居ん
About Benjamin he said, “The beloved of the LORD will dwell in safety by him. He covers him all day long. He dwells between his shoulders.”
13 ヨセフについては言ふ願くはその地ヱホバの祝福をかうむらんことを即ち天の寶物なる露淵の底なる水
About Joseph he said, “His land is blessed by the LORD, for the precious things of the heavens, for the dew, for the deep that couches beneath,
14 日によりて產する寶物月によりて生ずる寶物
for the precious things of the fruits of the sun, for the precious things that the moon can yield,
15 古山の嶺の寶物老嶽の寶物
for the best things of the ancient mountains, for the precious things of the everlasting hills,
16 地の寶物地の中の產物および柴の中に居たまひし者の恩惠などヨセフの首に臨みその兄弟と別になりたる者の頂に降らん
for the precious things of the earth and its fullness, the good will of him who lived in the bush. Let this come on the head of Joseph, on the crown of the head of him who was separated from his brothers.
17 彼の牛の首出はその身に榮光ありてその角は兕の角のごとく之をもて國々の民を衝たふして直に地の四方の極にまで至る是はエフライムの萬々是はマナセの千々なり
Majesty belongs to the firstborn of his herd. His horns are the horns of the wild ox. With them he will push all the peoples to the ends of the earth. They are the ten thousands of Ephraim. They are the thousands of Manasseh.”
18 ゼブルンについては言ふゼブルンよ汝は外に出て快樂を得よイツサカルよ汝は家に居て快樂を得よ
About Zebulun he said, “Rejoice, Zebulun, in your going out; and Issachar, in your tents.
19 彼らは國々の民を山に招き其處にて義の犠牲を献げん又海の中に盈る物を得て食ひ沙の中に蔵れたる物を得て食はん
They will call the peoples to the mountain. There they will offer sacrifices of righteousness, for they will draw out the abundance of the seas, the hidden treasures of the sand.”
20 ガドについては言ふガドをして大ならしむる者は讃べき哉ガドは獅子のごとくに伏し腕と首の頂とを掻裂ん
About Gad he said, “He who enlarges Gad is blessed. He dwells as a lioness, and tears the arm and the crown of the head.
21 彼は初穂の地を自己のために選べり其處には大將の分もこもれり彼は民の首領等とともに至りイスラエルとともにヱホバの公義と審判とをなこなへり
He provided the first part for himself, for the lawgiver’s portion was reserved for him. He came with the heads of the people. He executed the righteousness of the LORD, His ordinances with Israel.”
22 ダンについては言ふダンは小獅子のごとくバシヤンより跳り出づ
About Dan he said, “Dan is a lion’s cub that leaps out of Bashan.”
23 ナフタリについては言ふナフタリよ汝は大に福祉をかうむりヱホバの恩惠にうるほふて西と南の部を獲ん
About Naphtali he said, “Naphtali, satisfied with favour, full of the LORD’s blessing, Possess the west and the south.”
24 アセルについては言ふアセルは他の子等よりも幸福なりまた其兄弟等にこえて惠まれその足を膏の中に浸さん
About Asher he said, “Asher is blessed with children. Let him be acceptable to his brothers. Let him dip his foot in oil.
25 汝の門閂は鐵のごとく銅のごとし汝の能力は汝が日々に需むるところに循はん
Your bars will be iron and bronze. As your days, so your strength will be.
26 ヱシユルンよ全能の神のごとき者は外に無し是は天に乗て汝を助け雲に駕てその威光をあらはしたまふ
“There is no one like God, Jeshurun, who rides on the heavens for your help, in his excellency on the skies.
27 永久に在す神は住所なり下には永遠の腕あり敵人を汝の前より驅はらひて言たまふ滅ぼせよと
The eternal God is your dwelling place. Underneath are the everlasting arms. He thrust out the enemy from before you, and said, ‘Destroy!’
28 イスラエルは安然に住をりヤコブの泉は穀と酒との多き地に獨り在らんその天はまた露をこれに降すべし
Israel dwells in safety, the fountain of Jacob alone, In a land of grain and new wine. Yes, his heavens drop down dew.
29 イスラエルよ汝は幸福なり誰か汝のごとくヱホバに救はれし民たらんヱホバは汝を護る楯汝の榮光の劍なり汝の敵は汝に諂ひ服せん汝はかれらの高處を踐ん
You are happy, Israel! Who is like you, a people saved by the LORD, the shield of your help, the sword of your excellency? Your enemies will submit themselves to you. You will tread on their high places.”
