列王記Ⅱ 15

1 イスラエルの王ヤラベアムの二十七年にユダの王アマジヤの子アザリヤ王となれり

In the twenty and seventh year of Jeroboam king of Israel began Azariah son of Amaziah king of Judah to reign.

2 彼は王となれる時に十六歳なりしが五十二年の間エルサレムにおいて世を治めたりその母はエルサレムの者にして名をヱコリアと言ふ

Sixteen years old was he when he began to reign, and he reigned two and fifty years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Jecholiah of Jerusalem.

3 彼はヱホバの善と見たまふ事をなし萬の事においてその父アマジヤがなしたるごとく行へり

And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father Amaziah had done;

4 惟崇邱は除かずしてあり民は尚その崇邱の上に犠牲をささげ香をたけり

Save that the high places were not removed: the people sacrificed and burnt incense still on the high places.

5 ヱホバ王を撃たまひしかばその死る日まで癩病人となり別殿に居ぬその子ヨタム家の事を管理て國の民を審判り

And the LORD stroke the king, so that he was a leper unto the day of his death, and dwelt in a several house. And Jotham the king's son was over the house, judging the people of the land.

6 アザリヤのその餘の行爲とその凡てなしたる事はユダの王の歴代志の書にしるさるるにあらずや

And the rest of the acts of Azariah, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?

7 アザリヤその先祖等とともに寝りたればこれをダビデの邑にその先祖等とともに葬れりその子ヨタムこれに代りて王となる

So Azariah slept with his fathers; and they buried him with his fathers in the city of David: and Jotham his son reigned in his position.

8 ユダの王アザリヤの三十八年にヤラベアムの子ザカリア、サマリヤにおいてイスラエルの王となれりその間は六月

In the thirty and eighth year of Azariah king of Judah did Zachariah the son of Jeroboam reign over Israel in Samaria six months.

9 彼その先祖等のなせしごとくヱホバの目の前に惡を爲し夫のイスラエルに罪を犯させたるネバテの子ヤラベアムの罪に離れざりき

And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, as his fathers had done: he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin.

10 茲にヤベシの子シヤルム黨をむすびて之に敵し民の前にてこれを撃て弑しこれに代りて王となれり

And Shallum the son of Jabesh conspired against him, and stroke him before the people, and slew him, and reigned in his position.

11 ザカリヤのその餘の行爲はイスラエルの王の歴代志の書に記さる

And the rest of the acts of Zachariah, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.

12 ヱホバのヱヒウに告たまひし言は是なり云く汝の子孫は四代までイスラエルの位に坐せんと果して然り

This was the word of the LORD which he spoke unto Jehu, saying, Your sons shall sit on the throne of Israel unto the fourth generation. And so it came to pass.

13 ヤベシの子シヤルムはユダの王ウジヤの三十九年に王となりサマリヤにおいて一月の間王たりき

Shallum the son of Jabesh began to reign in the nine and thirtieth year of Uzziah king of Judah; and he reigned a full month in Samaria.

14 時にガデの子メナヘム、テルザより上りでサマリヤに來りヤベシの子シヤルムをサマリヤに撃てこれを殺し之にかはりて王となれり

For Menahem the son of Gadi went up from Tirzah, and came to Samaria, and stroke Shallum the son of Jabesh in Samaria, and slew him, and reigned in his position.

15 シヤルムのその餘の行爲とその徒黨をむすびし事はイスラエルの王の歴代志の書にしるさる

And the rest of the acts of Shallum, and his conspiracy which he made, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.

16 その後メナヘム、テルザよりいたりてテフサとその中にあるところの者およびその四周の地を撃り即ちかれら己がために開くことをせざりしかばこれを撃てその中の孕婦をことごとく刳剔たり

Then Menahem stroke Tiphsah, and all that were therein, and the coasts thereof from Tirzah: because they opened not to him, therefore he stroke it; and all the women therein that were with child he ripped up.

17 ユダの王アザリヤの三十九年にガデの子メナヘム、イスラエルの王となりサマリヤにおいて十年の間世を治めたり

In the nine and thirtieth year of Azariah king of Judah began Menahem the son of Gadi to reign over Israel, and reigned ten years in Samaria.

18 彼ヱホバの目の前に惡をなし彼のイスラエルに罪を犯させたるネバテの子ヤラベアムの罪に生涯離れざりき

And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD: he departed not all his days from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin.

19 茲にアツスリヤの王ブルその地に攻きたりければメナヘム銀一千タラントをブルにあたへたり是は彼をして己を助けしめ是によりて國を己の手に堅く立しめんとてなりき

And Pul the king of Assyria came against the land: and Menahem gave Pul a thousand talents of silver, that his hand might be with him to confirm the kingdom in his hand.

20 即ちメナヘムその銀をイスラエルの諸の大富者に課しその人々に各々銀五十シケルを出さしめてこれをアツスリヤの王にあたへたり是をもてアツスリヤの王は歸りゆきて國に止ることをせざりき

And Menahem exacted the money of Israel, even of all the mighty men of wealth, of each man fifty shekels of silver, to give to the king of Assyria. So the king of Assyria turned back, and stayed not there in the land.

21 メナヘムのその餘の行爲とその凡てなしたる事はイスラエルの王の歴代志の書にしるさるるにあらずや

And the rest of the acts of Menahem, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?

22 メナヘムその先祖等とともに寝りその子ペカヒヤこれに代て王となれり

And Menahem slept with his fathers; and Pekahiah his son reigned in his position.

23 メナヘムの子ペカヒヤはユダの王アザリヤの五十年にサマリヤにおいてイスラエルの王となり二年のあひだ位にありき

In the fiftieth year of Azariah king of Judah Pekahiah the son of Menahem began to reign over Israel in Samaria, and reigned two years.

24 彼ヱホバの目のまへに惡をなし彼のイスラエルに罪を犯させたるネバテの子ヤラベアムの罪に離れざりき

And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD: he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin.

25 茲にその將官なるレマリヤの子ペカ黨をむすびて彼に敵しサマリヤにおいて王の家の奧の室にこれを撃ころしアルゴブとアリエをもこれとともに殺せり時にギレアデ人五十人ペカとともにありきペカすなはち彼をころしかれに代て王となれり

But Pekah the son of Remaliah, a captain of his, conspired against him, and stroke him in Samaria, in the palace of the king's house, with Argob and Arieh, and with him fifty men of the Gileadites: and he killed him, and reigned in his room.

26 ベカヒヤのその餘の行爲とその凡て爲たる事はイスラエルの王の歴代志の書にしるさる

And the rest of the acts of Pekahiah, and all that he did, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.

27 レマリヤの子ペカはユダの王アザリヤの五十二年にサマリヤに於てイスラエルの王となり二十年位にありき

In the two and fiftieth year of Azariah king of Judah Pekah the son of Remaliah began to reign over Israel in Samaria, and reigned twenty years.

28 彼ヱホバの目の前に惡をなし彼のイスラエルに罪ををかさせたるネバテの子ヤラベアムの罪にはなれざりき

And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD: he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin.

29 イスラエルの王ペカの代にアツスリヤの王テグラテビレセル來りてイヨン、アベルベテマアカ、ヤノア、ケデシ、ハゾルおよびギレアデならびにナフタリの全地ガリラヤを取りその人々をアツスリヤに擄へうつせり

In the days of Pekah king of Israel came Tiglathpileser king of Assyria, and took Ijon, and Abelbethmaachah, and Janoah, and Kedesh, and Hazor, and Gilead, and Galilee, all the land of Naphtali, and carried them captive to Assyria.

30 茲にエラの子ホセア黨をむすびてレマリヤの子ペカに敵しこれを撃て殺しこれに代て王となれり是はウジヤの子ヨタムの二十年にあたれり

And Hoshea the son of Elah made a conspiracy against Pekah the son of Remaliah, and stroke him, and slew him, and reigned in his position, in the twentieth year of Jotham the son of Uzziah.

31 ペカのその餘の行爲とその凡てなしたる事はイスラエルの王の歴代志の書にしるさる

And the rest of the acts of Pekah, and all that he did, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.

32 レマリヤの子イスラエルの王ペカの二年にウジヤの子ユダの王ヨタム王となれり

In the second year of Pekah the son of Remaliah king of Israel began Jotham the son of Uzziah king of Judah to reign.

33 彼は王となれる時二十五歳なりしがヱルサレムにて十六年世を治めたり母はザドクの女にして名をヱルシヤといへり

Five and twenty years old was he when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Jerusha, the daughter of Zadok.

34 彼はヱホバの目にかなふ事をなし凡てその父ウジヤのなしたるごとくにおこなへり

And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD: he did according to all that his father Uzziah had done.

35 惟崇邱は除かずしてあり民なほその崇邱の上に犠牲をささげ香を焚り彼ヱホバの家の上の門を建たり

Nevertheless the high places were not removed: the people sacrificed and burned incense still in the high places. He built the higher gate of the house of the LORD.

36 ヨタムのその餘の行爲とその凡てなしたる事はユダの王の歴代志の書にしるさるるにあらずや

Now the rest of the acts of Jotham, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?

37 當時ヱホバ、スリアの王レヂンとレマリヤの子ペカをユダにせめきたらせたまへり

In those days the LORD began to send against Judah Rezin the king of Syria, and Pekah the son of Remaliah.

38 ヨタムその先祖等とともに寝りてその父ダビデの邑にその先祖等とともに葬られその子アハズこれに代りて王となれり

And Jotham slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David his father: and Ahaz his son reigned in his position.
