Mazmur 91

1 Orang yang berlindung pada Yang Mahatinggi, dan tinggal dalam naungan Yang Mahakuasa,

He that dwellith in the help of the hiyeste God; schal dwelle in the proteccioun of God of heuene.

2 boleh berkata kepada TUHAN, "Engkaulah pembela dan pelindungku, Allahku, pada-Mulah aku percaya."

He schal seie to the Lord, Thou art myn vptaker, and my refuit; my God, Y schal hope in him.

3 Ia akan melepaskan engkau dari bahaya tersembunyi, dan dari penyakit yang membawa maut.

For he delyuered me fro the snare of hunteris; and fro a scharp word.

4 Ia akan menudungi engkau dengan sayap-Nya, sehingga engkau aman dalam naungan-Nya; kesetiaan-Nya seperti perisai yang melindungi engkau.

With hise schuldris he schal make schadowe to thee; and thou schalt haue hope vnder hise fetheris.

5 Engkau tak usah takut akan bahaya di waktu malam, atau serangan mendadak di waktu siang;

His treuthe schal cumpasse thee with a scheld; thou schalt not drede of nyytis drede.

6 akan bencana yang datang di waktu gelap, atau kehancuran yang menimpa di tengah hari.

Of an arowe fliynge in the dai, of a gobelyn goynge in derknessis; of asailing, and a myddai feend.

7 Biar seribu orang tewas di sisimu, dan sepuluh ribu di sebelah kananmu, tetapi engkau sendiri tak akan cedera.

A thousynde schulen falle doun fro thi side, and ten thousynde fro thi riytside; forsothe it schal not neiye to thee.

8 Bila engkau memandang di sekelilingmu, engkau melihat orang jahat kena pembalasan.

Netheles thou schalt biholde with thin iyen; and thou schalt se the yelding of synneris.

9 Sebab engkau menjadikan TUHAN pembelamu, Yang Mahatinggi kaujadikan pelindungmu.

For thou, Lord, art myn hope; thou hast set thin help altherhiyeste.

10 Maka engkau tak akan kena bencana, rumahmu tak akan kena ditimpa malapetaka.

Yuel schal not come to thee; and a scourge schal not neiye to thi tabernacle.

11 Allah menyuruh malaikat-Nya menjagai engkau, untuk melindungi engkau ke mana saja engkau pergi.

For God hath comaundid to hise aungels of thee; that thei kepe thee in alle thi weies.

12 Mereka akan mengangkat engkau di telapak tangannya, supaya kakimu jangan tersandung pada batu.

Thei schulen beere thee in the hondis; leste perauenture thou hirte thi foot at a stoon.

13 Engkau akan melangkahi ular dan singa, menginjak singa muda dan ular berbisa.

Thou schalt go on a snake, and a cocatrice; and thou schalt defoule a lioun and a dragoun.

14 Kata TUHAN, "Orang yang mencintai Aku akan Kuselamatkan, yang mengakui Aku akan Kulindungi.

For he hopide in me, Y schal delyuere hym; Y schal defende him, for he knew my name.

15 Kalau ia berseru kepada-Ku, Aku akan menjawabnya. Di waktu kesesakan, Aku akan menolong dia; dia akan Kuluputkan dan Kuberi kehormatan.

He criede to me, and Y schal here him, Y am with him in tribulacioun; Y schal delyuere him, and Y schal glorifie hym.

16 Dia akan Kupuaskan dengan umur panjang, dan Kuselamatkan."

I schal fille hym with the lengthe of daies; and Y schal schewe myn helthe to him.
