Mazmur 103
1 Dari Daud. Pujilah TUHAN, hai jiwaku, segenap batinku, pujilah nama-Nya yang kudus.
“Of David.” Bless, O my soul, the Lord, and all that is within me, his holy name.
2 Pujilah TUHAN, hai jiwaku, jangan lupakan segala kebaikan-Nya!
Bless, O my soul, the Lord, and forget not all his benefits:
3 Dia yang mengampuni semua dosamu, yang menyembuhkan segala penyakitmu,
Who forgiveth all thy iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
4 Dia yang membebaskan nyawamu dari kuburan, yang melimpahi engkau dengan kasih dan belas kasihan.
Who redeemeth from the pit thy life; who crowneth thee with kindness and mercies;
5 Dia yang memuaskan hidupmu dengan yang baik, sehingga engkau awet muda seperti burung rajawali.
Who satisfieth with happiness thy spirit, so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's [plumage].
6 TUHAN menjalankan hukum dan keadilan bagi semua orang yang tertindas.
The Lord executeth righteousness, and justice for all that are oppressed.
7 Ia menyatakan rencana-Nya kepada Musa dan perbuatan-perbuatan-Nya kepada bangsa Israel.
He made known his ways unto Moses, unto the children of Israel his acts.
8 Sebab TUHAN pengasih dan penyayang, Ia panjang sabar dan kasih-Nya berlimpah.
Merciful and gracious is the Lord, long-suffering and abundant in kindness.
9 Ia tidak menghardik terus-menerus, dan tidak marah untuk selama-lamanya.
Not for all eternity will he contend; nor will he for ever retain his anger.
10 Ia tidak menghukum kita setimpal dosa kita, atau membalas kita setimpal kesalahan kita.
Not in accordance with our sins hath he dealt with us; nor according to our iniquities hath he requited us.
11 Tetapi setinggi langit di atas bumi, sebesar itu kasih-Nya bagi orang yang takwa.
For as high as heaven is above the earth, so mighty is his kindness toward those that fear him.
12 Sejauh timur dari barat, sejauh itu dibuang-Nya dosa-dosa kita.
As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed from us our transgressions.
13 Seperti seorang bapak mengasihi anak-anaknya, begitulah TUHAN mengasihi orang yang takwa.
As a father hath mercy on his children, so hath the Lord mercy on those that fear him.
14 Sebab TUHAN tahu kita terbuat dari apa, Ia ingat kita ini hanya debu.
For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.
15 Manusia hidupnya singkat seperti rumput; ia berkembang seperti bunga di ladang;
As for man, like the grass are his days: as the blossom of the field, so doth he bloom.
16 bila ditiup angin, lenyaplah ia, malah tempatnya tidak diketahui lagi.
When a wind but passeth over it, it is gone, and its place will recognize it no more.
17 Tetapi TUHAN tetap mengasihi orang takwa, kebaikan-Nya berlangsung turun-temurun
But the kindness of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting over those that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children,
18 bagi orang yang berpegang pada perjanjian-Nya, dan dengan setia melakukan perintah-Nya.
To such as keep his covenant, and to those who remember his precepts to execute them.
19 TUHAN memerintah di surga, Ia raja yang berkuasa atas segala-galanya.
The Lord hath established in the heavens his throne; and his kingdom ruleth over all.
20 Pujilah TUHAN, hai malaikat-malaikat-Nya yang perkasa, yang mendengarkan dan melakukan perintah-Nya.
Bless the Lord, ye his angels, mighty in strength, that execute his word, hearkening unto the voice of his word.
21 Pujilah TUHAN, hai semua makhluk di surga, semua hamba-Nya yang melakukan kehendak-Nya.
Bless ye the Lord, all his hosts, ye his ministers, that execute his will.
22 Pujilah TUHAN, hai segala ciptaan di seluruh wilayah kekuasaan-Nya. Pujilah TUHAN, hai jiwaku!
Bless the Lord, all his works, in all the places of his dominion; bless, O my soul, the Lord.
