תהילים 8

1 למנצח על הגתית מזמור לדוד יהוה אדנינו מה אדיר שמך בכל הארץ אשר תנה הודך על השמים׃

To the choirmaster on the Gittith a psalm of David. O Yahweh lord our how! majestic [is] name your in all the earth [the one] who set! splendor your above the heavens.

2 מפי עוללים וינקים יסדת עז למען צורריך להשבית אויב ומתנקם׃

From [the] mouth of children - and sucking children you have established strength on account of opposers your to put an end to an enemy and an avenger.

3 כי אראה שמיך מעשי אצבעתיך ירח וכוכבים אשר כוננתה׃

If I will see heavens your [the] works fingers your [the] moon and [the] stars which you have established.

4 מה אנוש כי תזכרנו ובן אדם כי תפקדנו׃

What? [is] humankind that you will remember him and a son of humankind that you will pay attention to him.

5 ותחסרהו מעט מאלהים וכבוד והדר תעטרהו׃

And you have made lack him little from God and honor and majesty you crown him.

6 תמשילהו במעשי ידיך כל שתה תחת רגליו׃

You make rule him over [the] works of hands your everything you have put under feet his.

7 צנה ואלפים כלם וגם בהמות שדי׃

Sheep and cattle all of them and also [the] animals of [the] field.

8 צפור שמים ודגי הים עבר ארחות ימים׃

[the] bird[s] of [the] heavens And [the] fish of the sea [that which] passes through [the] paths of [the] seas.

9 יהוה אדנינו מה אדיר שמך בכל הארץ׃

O Yahweh lord our how! majestic [is] name your in all the earth.
