Matthaeus 10
1 Und er rief seine zwölf Jünger zu sich, und gab ihnen Macht über die unsauberen Geister, daß sie dieselben austreiben, und heilten jede Seuche und jede Krankheit.
And hee called his twelue disciples vnto him, and gaue them power against vncleane spirits, to cast them out, and to heale euery sickenesse, and euery disease.
2 Die Namen der zwölf Apostel (Sendboten) sind diese: Der erste Simon, genannt Petrus, und Andreas, sein Bruder; Jakobus, Zebedäus´ Sohn, und Johannes, sein Bruder.
Nowe the names of the twelue Apostles are these. The first is Simon, called Peter, and Andrew his brother: Iames the sonne of Zebedeus, and Iohn his brother.
3 Philippus und Bartholomäus; Thomas und Matthäus, der Zöllner; Jakobus, Alphäus´ Sohn, und Lebbäus, mit dem Beinamen Thaddäus;
Philippe and Bartlemewe: Thomas, and Matthewe that Publicane: Iames the sonne of Alpheus, and Lebbeus whose surname was Thaddeus:
4 Simon, der Kananite, und Judas, der Ischariote, der ihn auch verriet.
Simon the Cananite, and Iudas Iscariot, who also betraied him.
5 Diese Zwölf sandte Jesus, indem er ihnen gebot, und sprach: Gehet nicht zu den Heiden hin, und betretet keine samaritische Stadt;
These twelue did Iesus send forth, and commanded them, saying, Goe not into the way of of the Gentiles, and into the cities of the Samaritans enter yee not:
6 Sondern ziehet vielmehr zu den verlorenen Scharfen vom Hause Israel.
But goe rather to the lost sheepe of the house of Israel.
7 Gehet, verkündigt, und saget: Die Himmelsherrschaft ist nahe herbeigekommen.
And as ye goe, preach, saying, The kingdome of heauen is at hand.
8 Kranke heilet, Tote erwecket, Aussätzige reiniget, Dämonen treibet aus! Umsonst habt ihr es empfangen, umsonst gebet es!
Heale the sicke: cleanse the lepers: raise vp the dead: cast out the deuils. Freely ye haue receiued, freely giue.
9 Ihr sollt weder Gold, noch Silber, noch Kupfer erwerben in eure Gürtel,
Possesse not golde, nor siluer, nor money in your girdels,
10 Auch keine Reisetasche, noch zwei Kleidungen, noch Schuhe, noch Stab; denn der Arbeiter ist seiner Nahrung wert.
Nor a scrippe for the iourney, neither two coates, neither shoes, nor a staffe: for the workeman is worthie of his meate.
11 Wo ihr aber in eine Stadt, oder in ein Dorf kommt, da erforschet, wer würdig ist darinnen, und daselbst bleibet, bis ihr weiter geht.
And into whatsoeuer citie or towne ye shall come, enquire who is worthy in it, and there abide till yee goe thence.
12 Wenn ihr aber in das Haus geht, so grüßet dasselbige;
And when yee come into an house, salute the same.
13 Und wenn das Haus würdig ist, so soll euer Friede auf dasselbe kommen; wenn es aber nicht würdig ist, so soll euer Friede auf euch zurückkehren.
And if the house be worthy, let your peace come vpon it: but if it be not worthie, let your peace returne to you.
14 Und wer euch nicht aufnimmt, noch eure Worte hört, aus jenem Hause, oder jener Stadt, gehet hinaus, und schüttelt den Staub von euern Füßen.
And whosoeuer shall not receiue you, nor heare your woordes, when yee depart out of that house, or that citie, shake off the dust of your feete.
15 Wahrlich, ich sage euch, erträglicher wird es dem Lande Sodom und Gomorra ergehen am Tage des Gerichts, als jener Stadt.
Truely I say vnto you, it shall be easier for them of the lande of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of iudgement, then for that citie.
16 Siehe, ich sende euch, wie Scharfe mitten unter Wölfe; so seid nun klug wie die Schlangen, und arglos wie die Tauben.
Behold, I send you as sheepe in the middes of the wolues: be yee therefore wise as serpents, and innocent as doues.
17 Hütet euch aber vor den Menschen; denn sie werden euch übergeben den hohen Ratsversammlungen, und in ihren Synagogen werden sie euch geißeln,
But beware of men, for they will deliuer you vp to the Councils, and will scourge you in their Synagogues.
18 Und vor Landpfleger und Könige werden sie euch führen, um meinetwillen, zum Zeugnis über sie und die Heiden.
And ye shall be brought to the gouernours and Kings for my sake, in witnes to them, and to the Gentiles.
19 Wenn sie euch aber überliefern, so sorget nicht wie, oder was ihr sagen sollt, denn es wird euch in jener Stunde gegeben werden, was ihr sagen sollt.
But when they deliuer you vp, take no thought howe or what ye shall speake: for it shall be giuen you in that houre, what ye shall say.
20 Denn nicht ihr seid es, die da reden, sondern der Geist eures Vaters redet mit euch.
For it is not yee that speake, but the spirite of your father which speaketh in you.
21 Es wird aber der Bruder den Bruder überliefern zum Tode, und der Vater das Kind, und es werden die Kinder aufstehen wider die Eltern, und sie töten;
And the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the sonne, and the children shall rise against their parents, and shall cause them to die.
22 Und ihr werdet gehaßt werden von allen um meines Namens willen. Wer aber bis ans Ende beharrt, der wird errettet werden.
And yee shall be hated of all men for my Name: but he that endureth to the end, he shall be saued.
23 Wenn sie euch aber in dieser Stadt verfolgen, so fliehet in eine andere; denn wahrlich, ich sage euch, ihr werdet mit den Städten Israels nicht zu Ende sein, bis daß der Menschensohn kommen wird.
And when they persecute you in this citie, flee into another: for verely I say vnto you, yee shall not goe ouer all the cities of Israel, till the Sonne of man be come.
24 Der Jünger ist nicht über den Lehrer, noch der Knecht über seinen Herrn;
The disciple is not aboue his master, nor the seruant aboue his Lord.
25 Es genüge dem Jünger, daß ihm geschieht, wie seinem Lehrer, und dem Knecht, wie seinem Herrn. Haben sie den Hausherrn Beelzebul genannt, wie vielmehr seine Hausgenossen!
It is ynough for the disciple to bee as his master is, and the seruaunt as his Lord. If they haue called the master of the house Beel-zebub, howe much more them of his housholde?
26 Fürchtet sie jedoch nicht; denn nichts ist verhüllt, das nicht enthüllt, und verborgen, das nicht bekannt werden wird.
Feare them not therefore: for there is nothing couered, that shall not be disclosed, nor hid, that shall not be knowen.
27 Was ich euch im Dunkeln sage, das redet am Licht, und was ihr höret ins Ohr, das verkündiget auf den Dächern.
What I tell you in darkenesse, that speake yee in light: and what yee heare in the eare, that preach yee on the houses.
28 Und fürchtet euch nicht vor denen, welche den Leib töten, die Seele aber nicht töten können; fürchtet aber vielmehr den, der sowohl die Seele, als auch den Leib, umbringen kann im Tal Hinnom. (Geenna g1067)
And feare yee not them which kill the bodie, but are nor able to kill the soule: but rather feare him, which is able to destroy both soule and bodie in hell. (Geenna g1067)
29 Verkauft man nicht zwei Sperlinge um einen Pfennig? und nicht einer von ihnen fällt auf die Erde, ohne euern Vater.
Are not two sparrowes sold for a farthing, and one of them shall not fal on the ground without your Father?
30 Von euch aber sind auch alle Haare des Hauptes gezählt.
Yea, and all the heares of your head are nombred.
31 Darum fürchtet euch nicht! Ihr seid mehr wert als viele Sperlinge.
Feare ye not therefore, yee are of more value then many sparowes.
32 Jeder nun, der sich zu mir bekennt vor den Menschen, zu dem werde auch ich mich bekennen vor meinem Vater, der in den Himmeln ist.
Whosoeuer therefore shall confesse me before men, him will I confesse also before my Father which is in heauen.
33 Wer mich aber verleugnet vor den Menschen, den werde auch ich verleugnen vor meinem Vater, der in den Himmeln ist.
But whosoeuer shall denie me before me, him will I also denie before my Father which is in heauen.
34 Wähnet nicht, daß ich gekommen sei, Frieden zum bringen auf die Erde; ich bin nicht gekommen, Frieden zu bringen, sondern das Schwert.
Thinke not that I am come to sende peace into the earth: I came not to send peace, but the sworde.
35 Denn ich bin gekommen, den Menschen zu entzweien wider seinen Vater, und die Tochter wider ihre Mutter, und die Schnur wider ihre Schwieger.
For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in lawe.
36 Und feind werden den Menschen seine Hausgenossen sein.
And a mans enemies shall be they of his owne housholde.
37 Wer Vater oder Mutter mehr liebt, als mich, der ist meiner nicht wert; und wer Sohn oder Tochter mehr liebt, als mich, der ist meiner nicht wert.
He that loueth father or mother more then me, is not worthie of me. And he that loueth sonne, or daughter more then mee, is not worthie of me.
38 Und wer nicht sein Kreuz nimmt, und folgt mir nach, der ist meiner nicht wert.
And hee that taketh not his crosse, and followeth after me, is not worthie of me.
39 Wer seine Seele findet, der verliert sie, und wer seine Seele um meinetwillen verliert, der wird sie finden.
He that will finde his life, shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake, shall finde it.
40 Wer euch aufnimmt, der nimmt mich auf; wer mich aufnimmt, der nimmt den auf, der mich gesandt hat.
He that receiueth you, receiueth me: and hee that receiueth mee, receiueth him that hath sent me.
41 Wer einen Propheten aufnimmt in eines Propheten Namen, der wird eines Propheten Lohn empfangen; wer einen Gerechten aufnimmt in eines Gerechten Namen, der wird eines Gerechten Lohn empfangen.
Hee that receiueth a Prophet in the name of a Prophet, shall receiue a Prophetes rewarde: and hee that receiueth a righteous man, in the name of a righteous man, shall receiue the rewarde of a righteous man.
42 Und wer einen dieser Kleinen nur mit einem Becher kalten Wassers tränkt, im Namen eines Jüngers, wahrlich ich sage euch, er wird seinen Lohn nicht verlieren.
And whosoeuer shall giue vnto one of these litle ones to drinke a cuppe of colde water onely, in the name of a disciple, verely I say vnto you, he shall not lose his rewarde.
