Psalm 57
1 Dem Musikmeister, “verdirb nicht”! Von David, ein Mikhtam, als er vor Saul in die Höhle floh. Sei mir gnädig, o Gott, sei mir gnädig! Denn bei dir sucht meine Seele Zuflucht, und im Schatten deiner Flügel will ich Zuflucht suchen, bis das Verderben vorübergeht.

2 Ich rufe zu Gott, dem Höchsten, zu Gott, der es für mich hinausführt.

3 Er sendet vom Himmel und hilft mir: gelästert hat, der mich zermalmt, (Sela) es sendet Gott seine Gnade und Treue.
He will send from heaven - and he will save me he will reproach [one who] crushes me (Selah) he will send God covenant loyalty his and faithfulness his.
4 Mitten unter Löwen muß ich liegen, unter Flammensprühenden, unter Menschen, deren Zähne Spieße und Pfeile, und deren Zunge ein scharfes Schwert.
Self my - in among lions I lie with [those that] devour [the] children of humankind teeth their [are] a spear and arrows and tongue their [is] a sword sharp.
5 Erhebe dich über den Himmel, o Gott, über die ganze Erde breite sich deine Herrlichkeit!
Be exalted! above the heavens O God [be] over all the earth glory your.
6 Sie haben meinen Füßen ein Netz gestellt, haben meine Seele niedergebeugt. Sie haben vor mir eine Grube gegraben, fielen aber selbst hinein. (Sela)

7 Mein Herz ist fest, o Gott, mein Herz ist fest; ich will singen und spielen!
[is] steadfast Heart my O God [is] steadfast heart my I will sing and I will sing praises.
8 Wache auf, meine Ehre, wache auf, Harfe und Zither; aufwecken will ich die Morgenröte.
Awake! O honor my awake! O lyre and harp I will waken [the] dawn.
9 Ich will dich preisen unter den Völkern, Herr, will dich besingen unter den Nationen!
I will give thanks to you among the peoples - O Lord I will sing praises to you not nations.
10 Denn groß bis zum Himmel ist deine Gnade, und bis zu den Wolken deine Treue.
For [is] great to [the] heavens covenant loyalty your and to [the] clouds faithfulness your.
11 Erhebe dich über den Himmel, o Gott, über die ganze Erde breite sich deine Herrlichkeit!
Be exalted! above [the] heavens O God [be] over all the earth glory your.
